En Casa Anonna disfrutará de amplias habitaciones con impresionantes vistas, una piscina privada, propiedad privada amplia y segura para una total privacidad, un oasis ubicado en una colina lejos del ajetreo de la ciudad y los turistas en medio del auténtico barrio de Vieques, pero aún así solo 5-10 minutos de todos los elementos esenciales y hermosas playas.

Casa Anonna está convenientemente ubicada en esta hermosa isla pequeña en el barrio residencial de Monte Santo, que está a medio camino entre las dos ciudades principales, Esperanza e Isabel Segundo. Contempla la parte norte de Vieques y la línea costera de Puerto Rico mientras disfruta de sus comidas, cócteles y su tiempo de tranquilidad con la refrescante brisa de la isla.

La amplia propiedad está ubicada en un vecindario seguro y amigable, pero aún está asegurada por un muro perimetral y una entrada cerrada con llave. En última instancia, le brinda seguridad y privacidad adicionales para disfrutar de las vistas excepcionales.

Cuando explore los terrenos, encontrará plantas tropicales como las Aves del Paraíso, así como numerosos árboles de palmera, aguacate, plátano, papaya, coco, mango y tamarindo.

En el centro de la propiedad hay una gran piscina privada con tumbonas para relajarse mientras disfruta de las vistas y tal vez atrapar a una iguana para robar una bebida de la piscina.

La propiedad consta de tres unidades y esta publicación de alquiler es para el segundo nivel de la propiedad. Cada unidad tiene su propia entrada privada y la posición de cada una hace que se sienta como una casa privada.

La unidad cuenta con dos dormitorios y un baño completo. Hay un total de 3 camas (1 queen y 2 gemelas). Hay un colchón de aire queen y dos camas plegables para acomodar a huéspedes adicionales. Duerme 4-6

La unidad tiene:

- Una cocina completamente equipada con utensilios de cocina y todos los electrodomésticos grandes y pequeños que necesitará para poder preparar una o todas sus comidas en casa.

- Una sala de estar tiene todos los elementos esenciales que necesitará para una estancia confortable. Hay nuevos ventiladores de techo, TV de pantalla plana con reproductor de DVD, acceso a Dish Network y WiFi..

- Una terraza / patio privado con mesa de comedor, sillones, ventiladores de techo y parrilla de gas..

- Cada habitación tiene una unidad de aire acondicionado para garantizar una noche de sueño confortable si la brisa y los ventiladores de techo no son suficientes.

- ¡Acceso a 2 sillas de playa, toallas de playa, sombrilla de playa y una pequeña nevera y jarra con aislamiento suave para mantener fríos el almuerzo / merienda / bebidas!

En caso de corte de energía, cada unidad tiene un pequeño generador disponible para alimentar el refrigerador, los ventiladores y los pequeños electrodomésticos. Beautiful views

House has beautiful views and a nice pool. the location is really good - close to Esperanza, quite away from others. You should be comfortable with cats and dogs as the owner keeps a few around. The owner and property manager could very easily show more generosity to guests with small kitchen investments and cleanliness. Kitchen is only barely equipped, bathroom wasn’t thoroughly clean, moldy shower curtain, not enough towels. Easy stuff to correct and I hope they do.

A wonderful hillside location, amazing view, and just a few driving minutes to Esperanza. The pool was clean and an added bonus. Be ready for some nighttime animal serenades -- the roosters and local dogs all around the island can be a bit noisy.

Amazing family getaway

We had a WONDERFUL stay here and will return one day! Tyler was AMAZING to work with. He gave us so many spot on recommendations for places to get authentic food, specific recommendations for beaches for different experiences - crowds, types of shells, currents, etc. and it made our trip! We loved having the expansive grounds with the huge open air veranda. We had the best breeze through the place and the view from on top of the hill was amazing. We loved having Mr. Dingles and the rest of the animal crew. Thanks for your hospitality! Can't recommend enough!

It’s all about the views. The property is high in the middle of the island. The spacious covered veranda is large, well equipped with ceiling fans…I could sit out there for days.

Gorgeous view from lovely home in hills of Vieques

My husband, two sons and I were fortunate to experience Vieques from Elizabeth’s lovely family home situated on a beautifully landscaped property with gorgeous views of the water and surrounding area. Tylar, the on-site caretaker, welcomed us warmly and had many helpful suggestions for all of our activities on the island. We were very grateful for his insider tips which led to a number of memorable experiences and just made things easier with the kids. The boys loved exploring the grounds, and had fun looking for all the semi-resident and roaming animals (dogs, cats, chickens, roosters, lizards, iguana)! We spent several afternoons and evenings either relaxing by the pool or enjoying the beautiful view from the back patio. We enjoyed several nights out at local restaurants, many of them suggested by Tylar. Plenty of good food and much to see for such a small island. We hope to someday return!

Great family location

Great destination for a family vacation. The verranda is amazing. The property comfortable. Loved that there was no TV! The pool is nice. Laundry great. Location perfect for launching to different beaches (with a car!). Note: Take the ferry to the island and stay as long as you can there are so many great beaches and restaurants too.

Paradise on the mountain top!

My family of 4 stayed in the 2nd floor unit for spring break. We absolutely loved our visit, but just wish it could have been longer. We spent so much time on the spacious covered deck at sunrise and sunset. The deck has spectacular views of Isabel Segunda and even 'the mainland.' The roads leading to the house are quite steep, so we were glad to have rented a jeep. The pool and its setting are so relaxing after a day at the beach. The space is well appointed-- the kitchen is large and has what you need. We appreciated the mini-split a/c in the bedrooms. One note is that, when turned on, the light from the mini-split display is a little bright. We appreciated having sleep masks. I also utilized ear plugs when the island roosters seemed to be crowing extra-vigorously to the almost-full moon! Tylar, the on-site property manager, was very communicative before our arrival. It was nice to have someone around who could give tips on restaurants, grocery stores, etc. After our trip he went so far as to mail me a sweatshirt I'd left behind at the pool! We would gladly return to this spot-- the views, the deck, the pool, and the central location were fantastic.

Good location and great pool

Spent a week on the second floor of Casa Anonna with my husband and 2 teenage boys. Location was great because we were already familiar with the island. Pros- 1)great to have a pool after long days at the beach (after rinsing in the outdoor shower), 2) view from the balcony was AMAZING! 3) parking with gate was good to keep horses out 4) good to have washer/dryer for clothes and towels 5) manager helped quick when we had a fridge issue 6) sheets, pillows, towels and beach chairs provided 7) wasn’t too noisy in the evening- didn’t hear the chickens too often at all- not like in Esperanza Cons- 1) had a little trouble locating at first but manager helped with that, 2) the renters (family of 8) that came in the middle of our stay basically took over the pool the last days and just were rude (which isn’t the owners fault) but especially with other guests they invited to the house; loud where we couldn’t hear our tv at times at night; left dishes at the pool the very first evening they were there and pulled out the house parking space like a maniac and almost hit our rented Jeep (we were waiting to pull into the parking area) and also they used all the water the last night we were there and we weren’t able to take showers (rinsed my hair with bottled water) or clean up before leaving. Next time we would stay at a place that had no other renters. Besides that everything went well and we enjoyed our time on the island.

A Centrally Located Haven

My 14 year old son and I spent 5 relaxing nights at Casa Anonna. This well-equipped haven is centrally located. Every morning I drank my tea on the terrace and enjoyed listening to the roosters and other birds. When we weren’t doing activities or at the beach, we swam in the pool. Elizabeth, the owner, is responsive and easy to communicate with, as is Tylar, the on-site property manager. We loved our stay at Casa Anonna and hope to be back.

Beautiful view and centrally located.

I stayed here with my wife and teenagers. The view was tremendous, the place was very clean and relaxing. I would definitely stay again. For anyone who has not been to Vieques, there are free range horses and chickens in abundance. The chorus of roosters is non-stop, but after a few hours they become a charming part of the background. I could sit out on the balcony for hours. The breeze on the ridge was perfect. Great place to stay.

Lovely home

My husband and two teen daughters thoroughly enjoyed Casa Anona! The flat was well appointed, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the balcony was hard to leave! We enjoyed coffee in the morning, overlooking a beautiful island. The weather was perfect when we were there. A nice breeze kept us cool. The caretaker was responsive and gave great advice on where to go as far as beaches and restaurants. We loved red beach (saw a marine iguana) and sun beach. Took a tour of the Bio Bay and went fishing. We loved the wild horses and chickens and roosters roaming all over the place! The place is heavily gated so we felt secure, the pool is lovely and the grounds (filled with banana trees, star fruit, etc) smelled sweet like blooming flowers. We rented a golf cart to tour the island and honestly we felt a bit ridiculous in the beginning. I reccomend renting a car before hand (yes Elizabeth you did reccomend that. We thought a golf cart would be fun) lol. We loved Vieques and hope it continues to recover.

Stunning View

We stayed at this rental for 6 nights. I have a 4 year old and a 10 year old. So a family of four. I am going to list pro's and cons, an honest review from someone who loves to travel. PRO'S 1. Great location 2. The pool is fantastic 3. The view from the balcony is amazing, so beautiful 4. Great price, very affordable 5. Clean home 6. Owner very responsive 7. Access to laundry services Cons 1. The beds are so bad, like hurt your back bad. Even my kids were like ouch. 2. The living room is not comfortable, the sofa arm is even broken, so it's not a comfy place to hang after a day at the beach. 3. The pillows are as thin as paper and you only have one per person. 4. The AC was out in our bedroom, soo the chickens had us up every single day at 5:30 am. Overall, the place has a great view and a pool + budget friendly... like super affordable. The owner could easily fix the cons list and offer the property for $25 more a night. OR, if you are a budget traveler, this property is clean and has a great view. As for our little family, we missed some creature comforts like fluffy pillows after a long day exploring Vieques. As for the island, it's truly magical and a wonderful place to visit. The location of this property is fantastic.

Great vacation

Our stay on the second floor of Casa Anonna was wonderful. The location is central to the island so that everything was a short drive away. The fans and location on the top of the hill allowed for wonderful breezes at night, we never turned on the window AC units. It was very convenient to have beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella as well as a cooler to bring to the beach all provided. The owner was responsive prior to our arrival and while there the caretaker on site was responsive. I didn’t ask about a coffee maker while there, there wasn’t one in the second floor apartment. The beach towels were hard to dry overnight in the humidity, the second floor doesn’t have a washer dryer (the top floor does). I think there may have been one downstairs with the caretaker that we could have used but we never asked. The pool was clean and well cared for, it was nice to cool off in at the end of the day. The property is gated so it felt secure but slightly inconvienient when pulling the car out and locking the gate. Overall we really enjoyed Casa Anonna and would gladly return.

Great experience!

The house has one of the best views on the island. We have enjoyed our stay there very much. Clean and comfy environment, spacious terrace, fully equipped kitchen, clean private pool. Quiet (!) all roosters are at the bottom of the hill! We would definitely come back to this place!

Fantastic Oasis Getaway

The pictures of this house don't do the property justice. The house is clean and accommodations are perfect. We rented the second floor of the house, which has its' own entrance and private facilities. The balcony has a wonderful view, you can see the ocean and picturesque sunsets. The landscaping is nice as well. The location is central to the island, so you can get around easily to Isabel and Esperanza and all the beaches relatively easily. The island is amazing, with several beautiful beaches, the bioluminescent bay, and outdoor activities available. I would definitely go back, and wished I had scheduled a longer stay.

Perfect!

This beautiful rental was perfect for our family of four. The house is so well equipped all your cares vanish. It is just like home! It is located right between Isabela and Esperanza so you can get anywhere on the island in minutes. We loved taking in the beautiful views while we drank coffee and had our breakfast on the veranda in the mornings. The property is covered in fruit trees and we enjoyed the pool in the evenings after a tough day relaxing on the beach. The sound of neighborhood roosters made us a bit manic after awhile, but we did our best to tune them out. And we never could figure out how to get air flow through the living room in the evenings so it cooled down. But these were minor disturbances in an otherwise idyllic setting.

Very nice!

My husband, daughter and I loved our stay at Casa Anonna over New Years 2016. We rented the top level apartment of the 3-story building for 7 days. My favorite place was the balcony which looked north over Vieques and in the distance the ocean. Our property was clean, well appointed and well cared for. The mattresses were firm and provided a good night sleep. The kitchen had a generous supply of utensils, dishes and plates. The pool was great after a hard day at the beach and the landscaping was beautiful. We had privacy yet always felt safe. The caretaker who lives on the first floor was responsive and friendly but not intrusive. The property is in the Monte Santo Hills neighborhood. It is a steep drive to the property. You definitely need a vehicle. Also, this property has stairs to get to the 3rd floor. We love Vieques and Casa Anonna. We'll be back, for sure.

I officially live in San Jose, CA but I try to spend as much time traveling or in Vieques as I can.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This was my parent's retirement oasis. My mom found out about the island from a great friend who moved down to Vieques and started one of the first B-n-B's on the island. We started coming annually as family in 1989 just after Hugo and fell in love with the island and the people. They bought the home in '92 and then poured a whole lot of love and sweat into creating the sanctuary that I have inherited and am now trying to maintain.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Truly is a "home away from home" and not just a rental unit. Gives you a real feeling for life on the island but with the comforts you want while on vacation. Can't beat the views and the breezes, it's so easy to get sucked in and fully takes my breath away no matter how often I experience them!
