Welcome to Slack Tide at Holden Beach! Situated on a corner lot at the end of the canal allows for breathtaking views of the Intracoastal Waterway and canal. This 4 bedroom, three bath home has a lovely beachy feel while offering all the amenities you could possibly need. With three king bedrooms and one bunk room you can comfortably sleep 10 guests. The best part of the house quite possibly could be the large spacious back deck, swimming pool, double lot for extra play space, and the huge dock.

As you enter our home you'll be comforted by the lovely beachy feel. With a cute fully stocked kitchen, spacious den sitting area and beautiful views from every window, you will be sure to relax and unwind. The den and each bedroom offer smart TVs and great wifi. From the den area you have access to a full bathroom with tub that is shared with the downstairs master bedroom. Upstairs, you will find the second king master bedroom with private bath located on the right. Continuing down the hallway is the third bathroom and king bedroom. On the left of the hallway is an adorable bunk house with its own TV perfect for kids.

Linens and bath towels are included with each rental booking and you will have a minimal supply of toilet paper and paper towels to get you started. Beach towels are NOT provided.

On the ground level you will find the garage. A perfect spot to store all of your beach gear. We do have a few beach chairs, a cart, kayaks, and some corn hole boards for you to enjoy during your stay.

We had a great week!! This property is in a wonderful location if you want to go to beach as well as boat on the inter coastal waterway. Very quiet neighborhood and we had a great time playing cornhole game in adjoining lot. Highly recommend for a fun vacation!!

Beach trip

It was a perfect house for 8 people. So many options for outside sitting. We never felt crowded there inside with the open living area. It was a chilly weekend, but easy walk to the beach to hunt shells. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking, since we ate in mostly.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION

Fishing, kayaking, beach, park.... you name it, this is the beach location on Holden Beach. The back porch will not let you go inside and the pool... well... need it say more. Lounging by the pool after a hot day on the beach while some fished and other kayaked. We will be back! The only reason I didn't want to give this property 5 stars is because I don't want others to find out about this gem! :) Tremendous! Don't hesitate!

Excellent location for a family vacation!

We had the best time at this house! The location was perfect, with only a short walk to the beach and a beach access right at the end of the street. The in-ground pool and huge side yard were awesome additions, perfect to keep the kids busy! The bunk bed room was a big hit with the kids. It's not walking distance to anything other than the beach, an ice cream shop, and the general store, but that was plenty for us! We would definitely stay here again!

Family vacation

This is a wonderful home and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything you would need. Has lots of beach toys and chairs for the beach including a beach cart. The pool is very nice. Beach access at the end of the road. Fishing the canal from the dock plus the crab pots was fun for all. We couldn’t be happier. House was a little dusty and could use hooks in the bathrooms. Other than that, you can NOT go wrong at Slack Tide.

A Fantastic Experience!

I recently stayed at Slacktide in Holden Beach, NC over Fourth of July week, and it was a fantastic experience. The house is located midway down Holden Beach, right on a canal with a dock perfect for fishing. The highlight of the property is definitely the amazing saltwater pool, where we spent many relaxing hours. The porch provided a lovely setting to enjoy the refreshing breezes and witness the breathtaking sunsets. The walk to the beach was easy, allowing us to quickly access the beautiful shoreline. One valuable tip for arrival is to get there as early as possible. We found it beneficial to pack a cooler and lunch, secure a public parking spot on the island, and spend time at the beach until check-in time. This strategy helped us avoid the heavy traffic attempting to cross the island's only bridge. Likewise, for check-out, leaving early is advisable to ensure a smooth departure. During our stay at Slacktide, we cherished peaceful days spent on the beach, porch, dock, and in the pool. The owners generously provided 3 kayaks with life jackets and various beach toys for kids, ensuring there was plenty of entertainment available. Additionally, bikes were provided, and if you happen to have a boat, the convenience of having it right in the water ready to go is a definite plus. Overall, Slacktide provided an excellent beach getaway experience. The serene surroundings, convenient amenities, and thoughtful provisions made our stay truly enjoyable.

Wonderful home with amazing corner sound lot

Great family home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Slacktide. Our kids love to fish and this home offers amazing access on a beautiful corner lot on the sound. The owner offered great communications and answered our questions quickly. The only recommendation I'd offer would be the addition of a few towel hangers. Would definitely recommend this home and stay there myself again!

Great Vacation!

We enjoyed our stay at Slack Tide! Beach access is at the end of the street and the available bicycles were great for getting to and from the beach. The pool was a plus for late evenings or when the weather didn’t cooperate. Amenities inside and out are plentiful and lots of ways to keep kids entertained. The house is clean and comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. It was just a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Wonderful canal house

Family has been going to Holden Beach for years. The house and location were perfect! We loved the pool and the beach access was crust right at the end of the street. The dock was large enough for our boat and two jet skis.

2022 Family Beach Vacation

Slack Tide had everything we needed for our beach vacation. Everyone loved the pool, and the kids loved the yard and the deck. The crab traps were a bonus, and the kids saw crabs up close. It was a fantastic vacation house for our family of nine.

They have everything!

They had it all, the propane grill, floats, chairs, umbrellas, crab pots, the list goes on. It was a wonderful stay and the pool was perfect for when the beach was too hot. 🕶☀️

Great House for family with kids

We had a really fun week especially because the home was so child friendly. Pool, yard space a cul-de-sac location were a bonus with four children under the age of 10. Because of the long walk to the beach we really needed a golf cart... but then there is no where to park it at the beach access.

GREAT HOUSE & AREA

This house was perfect for us! 4 kids (11-16yrs) and 2 couples. We loved hoping on the kayaks to paddle around the inlet or adventure out to the ICW. We caught fish and crabs off the dock and took daily bike rides down to grab coffee, lunch, or Sunset slushies at the entrance to the island. Location was perfect, not too far to bike but away from the main traffic. Beach access was right at the end of the street! Everyone had a great time playing cornhole in the side yard and swimming in the pool! House was well stocked! Thank you!!!

Awesome Ammenities

We very much enjoyed the pool, kayaks, and all beach equipment. Fun stuff was fully stocked and ready. The property was in really good condition and having the side lot helped a lot with keeping the little one entertained.

A must stay!

SlackTide is a beautiful getaway with all the comforts of home! Location is great, Canal home with just a short walk to the beach. The bikes in the garage was a plus for our 5 year old granddaughter. She enjoyed riding every day. Julie was efficient with booking and communication. We will definitely be renting again soon!

Loved the canal and big yard!

The owner was very attentive to questions with quick responses. Our family loved fishing from the dock and being able to use the kayaks. The big yard was an extra bonus for the kids and we really enjoyed the layout of the house.

Exceptionally equipped

Beach equipment galore! Extra fridge, big plus. Never had to buy ice once. All in all the house was very well thought out. Can’t wait for the new pool addition.
