Nice and enjoyable stay at this Lake Blackshear home over the water. The house was very clean and the comfortable. Christian was very responsive and accommodating. We hope to stay here again in the near future.

We had a great time. It was peaceful and relaxing. It would have been nice to be able to block the sun with some curtains or blinds when it was shinning through the windows while we were watching tv. Would have also liked a reclining chair or sofa with reclining chairs. All in all we had a great time.

Great rustic lake house literally on the water

The house is better than the pictures show! The deck was our favorite spot with plenty of seating for everyone and the water gurgling underneath. Only thing that would make it better is a chaise lounge or sofa so you could stretch out. The kitchen had everything we needed for delicious meals. And we appreciated the big selection of games!

Relaxing on the Water

House was clean, beds were comfortable. Views were magnificent. We caught fish right off porch, white perch, catfish, bream and bass. Grandson really enjoyed Disc Golf. Nearby restaurants were great. Can’t wait to come again.

Birthdays/Spring Break

Friends celebrated birthdays with a short Spring Break getaway. Fishing, kayaking, & porch/deck sitting. Restaurants, groceries, gas stations, bait shops all nearby. Had everything we needed.

Beautiful

We had the best time. Although we didn't have a lot of time at the property, the view was amazing. At first glance you would not think so because all we noticed was the blue shack :) but the house was great!

Best View on Lake Blackshear!

My husband and I rented this property for an extended summer vacation and we hated to leave! The covered deck off the living area sits out over the main lake and the views are amazing! It was the perfect place for coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. The dock on the water with a fire pit and seating made for some fun evenings with friends. Check in was a breeze and the house was so cute and welcoming. There was plenty of room and the layout was great. My husband and I had the main level bedroom and bath leaving the two upstairs bedrooms and bathroom for visiting friends and family. Christian was so quick to respond to and handle any little thing we needed. We can't wait to go back!

Very relaxing!

The house was very clean and so enjoyable that it is right on the water...the views are breath taking from inside and sitting outside...we enjoyed fishing from the dock, the firepit for roasting hot dogs and making s'mores...the grill was perfect for our hamburger supper...we had a good time at this lake house.

Property is very quiet. Could be considered bit rustic. The owners made it very simple to check in and settle into quality porch time. Great Lake views.

We had a great stay. The house was clean and as described. Comfortably fit 5 adults and one 8-year old. The owner/manager were very responsive and the whole experience was hassle-free. Will definitely rent again in the future.

Lovely, comfortable home in a quiet location with a great view

Our family group, 2 sisters and our husbands and our elderly mother, stayed in this lovely waterfront cottage for a three night stay. Loved sitting on the wraparound porch and watching the lake activity, and the home is very nicely decorated and very comfortable for a group this size. Our Mom stayed in the downstairs bed/bath suite and it was perfect for her so she didn't have to navigate a lot of steps. Upstairs bedrooms are spacious. Great spot for a relaxing stay.
