St. Augustine S.F.H. Beach House Rental- 1 Block to the Beach!

"Seaside Cove" is located less than a block to the beach in Vilano Beach (also known as North Beach). Walk past 2 homes, cross A1A and you're on the beach! Drive 5 minutes and cross Vilano Bridge and you're in downtown St. Augustine loaded with shops, restaurants and historic sightseeing. The home is a 3 bd, 2 ba, 2 car garage with almost 2,200 square feet of living space. The home sleeps 9 comfortably. It also features split bedroom design with the Master (King bed) on one side and 2 other bedrooms on the other. One with a Twin and Full sized Bunkbed suitable for 3 kids and a Queen in the other. New stainless steel appliances and Keurig in kitchen and recently newly stocked with all the essentials. Rear patio w/ gazebo, grill and seating, enclosed shower for outside showering off the beach. Washer and dryer in dedicated laundry room. Fenced in rear yard with outdoor shower.

Wonderfully furnished home less than a block to the beach. Split bedroom design, Wi-fi, smart TV's and X-Box, fully equipped kitchen, tons of beach supplies. Large fenced in backyard with gazebo and furniture amenities
North Beach Park is located the next block. https://www.visitstaugustine.com/thing-to-do/north-beach. Plenty of local restaurants near the home as well. The Reef (oceanview), Caps on the Water (overlooking Matanzas River/Intercoastal), Beaches (overlooking Tolomato River) both have their own beach area and Aunt Kate's (local favorite for seafood and breakfast overlooking the Tolomato River).
Vilano Fishing Pier and Marina are 5 minutes away. There are several award winning golf courses within 1/2 hour away including Sawgrass PGA Tour and Country Club or visit Guana Matanzas National Wildlife Reserve with multiple parks for hiking, picnicking and other outdoor activities. Sheet, towels, shampoo, soap, stocked kitchen, beach chairs and toys provided. Great for families, couples, groups and business travelers. Minimum 3 night rental. Dog friendly, add $125 per pet max 2 pets. Home is cleaned and disinfected with CDC approved products. Contactless check-in.

Perfect beach access

This home was the perfect size for a family and a couple of friends. The beach was just steps away and the attractions were easy to get to. We had everything we needed to make meals. The only draw back was the water smelled like sulfur when you took a shower. But this lessened after the first day of showers.

St. Augustine

We enjoyed our stay here. It's a nice, spacious house in a quiet neighborhood. Quick walk to get to the beach and a nice fenced in backyard so our dogs enjoyed the trip as well!

Wonderful Home

I loved being here. The open space arrangement was lovely, lots of light and airy feeling to it. The kitchen was so well-equipped. The patio and backyard worked well for my dog and me. I want to come back with friends/family.Best of all, it was a lovely neighborhood and just a short walk to the beach.

Plenty of space

This is a great house in a great location. Will definitely come back when the weather is warmer. The property manager is extremely responsive. Only one thing I would recommend would be to replace the master bedroom bed frame. It is very loud when someone moves around during the night. Otherwise, the kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty of space.

Everything was great !! The only negative is that there aren't any railings for the stairs going outside to the patio. Just thinking of everyone's safety.

Close to beach

Overall we enjoyed the property. Really isn’t ideal for elderly or disabled. Very steep steps to backyard area. Property manager was very accommodating when we had a little issue with the ac when we arrived which she quickly had resolved. I think it could be cleaner. I realize it is pet friendly but the floors were a little dirty. Lots of dust under the furniture. Well stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags. Had lots of k cups, creamer, sugar, etc. that was nice. Overall it was a nice experience. Oh, the gutters need to be tightened or something. Constant knocking sounds in the bedrooms when it’s windy.

Convenient walk to the beach

It was a convenient walk to the beach but for the closest route had to cross A1A. This should be considered when renting to family with kids. Otherwise the house and amenities for the beach were great.

Couldn’t ask for more

This home was every thing we needed and wanted. The host go above and beyond when it comes to amenities. We definitely would stay here again. The house is so close to the beach. Which was a huge bonus. Our family lives this property.

Great Home!

The home has a lot of wide open common areas and allows everyone to have their own space. The background was great as well! Cindy was lovely and helped us right away when we locked ourselves out of the house (completely our fault). The large washer and dryer helped with beach towels and had a very well stocked kitchen. We had a great stay!

Grandma’s Visit

Met some family from Fleming Island in St Augustine for a few days. This rental is a great location. Can walk to dog friendly beach and a few short minutes to Old St Aug. Better still is the 10 minute drive to the main St Augustine trolley station, let them drive for you! SO happy when there’s good towels!! Kitchen is well stocked. Lots of beach chairs, wagon in garage. House needs some repair but a comfortable choice for a beach weekend.

Vilano Beach

Very nice house. Close walk to the beach. Property manager replied very quickly to all questions. A bonus for kids (and parents) is a separate room with a couch and tv/xbox. I would definitely recommend.

Time for Good Cleaning and Maintenance

The floors were filthy. The entire property needs to be repainted, the ceiling in front of fireplace looks like it is getting ready to fall in, shower curtain in main bathroom is too short water runs all over floor. The kitchen cabinet door above coffee maker was getting ready to fall off so we fixed it. I emailed after making reservation to inquire if the gas grill was in working order, I was assured it was. The grill was not in working order, but there was a brand-new one still in box in garage. It was disappointing to say the least, I reached out to hostess during our stay but received no response. I emailed again upon departing and she indicated she did not get my original email, so I sent her a copy. She refunded $125 of the $3400.00 that was paid. I would not recommend the property.

Spacious and close to St .Augustine

I had no idea where Vilano Beach was compared to where St. Augustine is, which is where we wanted to explore. It was only 11 minutes right into the Historic district. Quiet neighborhood and the house was very open and spacious. The house is also located three houses from corner, cross the street and direct access to pet friendly beach. Just what we wanted. Could use a few things in the kitchen, but many blankets and towels and things for the beach. Overall a 5 star.

Wonderful house close to beach

We have rented this house twice and loved both visits. Very comfortable, has everything you need and 10 minutes to St Augustine and short walk to a great beach. Bonus for us, fenced backyard and dog friendly beach and area. Close to some awesome restaurants. We love it here!
