Ranch style Farm House, Beautifully Decorated with many Antiques. As close to mom's house as you can get. Washer, Dryer, Range, Microwave, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Grill, Fire Pit, TV's around the home. Wifi- for all you tv watching needs. 2 smart TV's is 2 of the bedrooms. Our Hideaway offers you and your family a secluded retreat, but still close to everything. This home is Located on 58 acres, enjoy the wild life, Deer, Squirrel, Turkey Coyote etc.. Beautiful sunsets and sunrise. 2 security Lights offer plenty of light around the outer boundaries of the yard. Bring the telescope and set it up in the yard . Beautiful Star's on clear night's. Enjoy your own 'Little Dash of peace and Quit'. Room for a game of catch, play volley ball, or just enjoy the fresh air. Room to pitch a tent in the back yard for the adventurous ones. Enjoy the Out Doors.
The Basement is full of various games to play, great for entraining the Kids. Include but not listed, Foosball, Air hockey, Lego's ping pong, board games and more. All Kitchen necessities are on site. Many other Items at this home as well, towels, wash cloths, blow dryer, trash bags, miniature shampoos and soap etc.. to many to mention.
What to see? All within 30 mins or so, Belterra Casino, Buttler Park, Creation Museum 35 miles, Ark Encounter 23 miles, Big Bone State Park 15 miles, Historical Vevay IN. Historical Madison IN antique shopping, Newport Aquarium, The Beautiful Ky., OH, River must check out the Locks at the Markland Dam Park, The Elk Creek Winery, The Ridge Winery, Look for a map of Wineries in the House. The Kentucky Speedway, Clifty Fall's In Madison, Louisville Mega Cavern is a must see at Christmas 45 mins. 45 mins to Louisville, or Cincinnati. Many more things to see and do. And then come back to a cozy home. So much to see so little time. Relax and enjoy our little slice of heaven. We hope you enjoy your stay. We are just mins away if you need us. Relaxing

This property was situated in a good location to access both the Ark and creation museum. It was peaceful and quiet. Felt like home. Large kitchen and dining areas were great. loved the firepit to sit and enjoy the sun go down at nights. We would stay there again. Host was very kind and quick to answer questions and provide information!

Lovely Country Home

My family was very comfortable in this 3 bedroom country home. We had everything we needed and loved the privacy of the country. Great owners who were so easy to communicate with. Fire pit and BBQ grill were extra bonuses!

Family birthday celebration

The house worked well for our needs. Six adults needing 3 rooms for a couple of days to celebrate and make memories together. The place was clean with a lot of extras if needed. The property was quiet and beautiful. Loved all the personal touches throughout making the place feel like home.

Enjoyed staying at this special house. Reminded us of our mom's home. House was clean with many amenities not often seen in rentals. Would rent again given the opportunity.

Relaxing getaway

Everything was excellent from beginning to end of our stay. 16 th thru 19th. Was quiet and relaxing. Took advantage of the fire pit and games down stairs. Close to Ark Encounter the main focus of the trip. Visited Cincinnati and had a wonderful dinner on the river celebrating Father’s Day with my son and daughter-in-law and his birthday on Monday. Booking was easy checking in a breeze. Very clean and well stocked with necessities as they stated it would be. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone who wanted a nice quiet place to stay in that area. Darlene was very informative and easy to work with. Great job Darlene.

Enjoyed the house but disappointed by the request to not flush toilet paper. Didn't sound like a very healthy request. Convenient to the Ark Encounter.

A Piece of Paradise

This beautiful farmhouse is very comfortable and in a very peaceful area! Very scenic rolling hills surround the large shaded yard! Conveniently close to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Scenic backroads abound in the area, including a nice drive along the Ohio River on both the Kentucky and Indiana sides! This place is truly a piece of paradise!!! The owner is fantastic and goes above and beyond to make this an unforgettable experience!!! 👍👍

Great location for Ark visit.

We had a great stay and the house was just a promised. They did a great job of presenting the exactly where you will be staying. She should add more pictures of the surroundings, the area is beautiful KY farm land and that is the only thing that surprised me. Someone puts a lot of love in taking care of the house, you can just tell.

Family trip to Ark Encounter

Amazing view and awesome places to visit!

The host made us feel at home! Her house is nice, neat, and very pleasant. The view around the house is breathtaking, especially at sunrise/sunset. The neighborhood is peaceful and the few people we saw were very friendly.

The beautiful rolling hills, Green Pastures, and all that Mother Nature has to offer. This location is so quite, a great place to relax. We have been farming this property for 20 years, We have always loves this home. When it became available we did not have to think twice. We were lucky to have the opportunity to purchase it. We hope you love and enjoy it as much as we do.

Beautiful farm house. the original owner Was a teacher at a one room school house. the school house is long gone now but a few of the things that we're in the school are in the house. This home is decorated with many antiques. has lots of space. and plenty of room out door. Game room . Thank you for looking. We hope to book you soon.
