Family Beach Retreat, Walk to Beach and Bay, 4 BR

Welcome to Pelican Landing, this beautiful hard to find 4 bedroom home is located just a few blocks from the beach and the bay on Galveston Island's West End. Pelican Landing has everything you need for an unforgettable beach get away.

Located just a 15-20 minute drive to all the Galveston attractions, shopping, historic district, water parks and theme parks. You really won't want to go home! 

The home is impeccability decorated and maintained. The kitchen is loaded and equipped with everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal. Recently updated the kitchen features quartz counter tops, subway tiles and stainless appliances. The large coastal-farmhouse table has seating for 6 and the counter-height breakfast bar features seating for 4!

Adjacent and open to the kitchen is the large family room with sofa seating for 8! Enjoy a movie on the large flat-screened smart TV and listen to some tunes on the bluetooth sound bar. The family room also features a queen sized pull out sofa with memory-foam mattress.

No detail has been over looked in this home! All 4 bedrooms feature smart-flat screened tvs and USB outlets for charging. The bunk room has a Playstation 3 (guest provide games), pack and play and a high chair. High quality linens and towels are provided. Numerous board games, puzzles and playing cards are provided for hours of family fun. The house has all the comforts of home.

The Terramar Beach Community is one of Galveston Islands best kept secrets, located on Galveston's far West-End the subdivision has something to offer everyone. Pelican Landing is located just a few blocks and a very short walk to the beach, Terramar is a Golf-Cart friendly community with easy golf-cart parking (or car) right on the beach. Golf cart rentals are available for very reasonable daily and weekly rates (we would love to help set up a golf cart rental for you, just ask us.). Although there is a parking area on the beach vehicles are prohibited from driving past the designated parking area which makes Terramar Beach ideal for families. The subdivision also offers a community swimming pool (open seasonally) and a marina with a boat ramp and fishing area available for our guest to use. West-End Marina Restaurant is a quick golf-cart ride away and offers delicious food and drinks and entertainment opportunities year round.

Terramar Beach is a Golf Cart Friendly Community, the beach is a quick 1 minute golf cart ride from the house. Let us know if you would like help renting a golf cart for your stay, there are companies that will drop a golf cart off to you.

Pelican Landing is NOT SUITABLE FOR PARTIES OR LARGE GATHERINGS. This is a family friendly home and subdivision.

We have a 5 night minimum June-August, and 3 night minimum during other times of the year.

Last minute reservations will not be accepted.

Great Location!

Pleasant Surprise

This home was perfect for our stay and exactly what we didn’t know we needed! It’s a little farther from major grocery stores than we anticipated but it almost forced us to slow down and relax. The owners were very responsive and quick to respond.

Great place

The house is awesome, had everything we needed. Only draw back was the absence of the fire pit. It was close to beach and pool, yard was awesome. My dog loved the porch swing. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again.

Wonderful Beach Stay

We had a wonderful beach vacation. The house and property were just what we were looking for in a rental. There were 9 of us plus a dog and everyone had a great stay. Lisa is very prompt with any questions. We would return!!

Family wedding

We enjoyed our time together. The house was in a great location with comfortable accommodations. Games for the kids as well as beach toys. Short walk to the beach too. We will definitely keep this house on our go to beach house! Thanks Lisa for a wonderful place for our family get together.

Family vacation

The house was beautiful and very well kept! We had everything we needed including beach chairs, towels and beach toys for our little one. We loved the deck and sitting outside with our morning coffee or evenings relaxing with the view and sound of the ocean waves. Loved the table outside for evening family meals. We also loved how close the beach was to the house! Our three pups loved the fenced yard and had plenty of room for them to run around and play. We are definitely going to book another stay here for future family vacations!!

Great house!

Everything about this house was lovely! The house wa la very comfortable for our family and pups, and was so clean! The location is prime, and enjoying meals outside while watching the waves made it a very peaceful stay. The neighborhood is also perfect. Large lots gives everyone space and was really quiet, even during a busy holiday weekend. The host was great with communicating and accommodating my families needs. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Gorgeous Beach House

Loved our stay at the Pelican Landing! Gorgeous well equipped beach house. Highly recommend this if you are looking for a relaxing time. We took our small dog with us and she loved the deck and yard. Lisa was very responsive to all communication before and during our stay. Thanks so much for everything Lisa!

Perfect vacation home

This was the perfect house for four families to spend a week together. Two grandparents, three children, two spouses and four grand boys along with all the bedtimes, waking and feeding that goes along with and we had a blast. We had everything we needed in the house and got a golf cart for beach trips. Definitely recommended.

Family vacation

It was fun. The weather was a little rough so we didn’t get to go to the beach as much as we wanted. But just hanging out at the house was fun for all of us to hang out together. We rented a golf cart and that was fun as well.

Spring Break 2022

This home is beautiful, it just needs cleaned properly between guests. The fridge was dirty, there was a hair tie on the floor in the bathroom when we arrived and it was very dusty. Our family owns 3 VRBO rentals and we know what families expect when they arrive at such a beautiful home. We loved the location. The beach is ideal for looking for seashells after a good storm. The kids loved the bunk room.

Wonderful stay

Great House

The properties kitchen is fully loaded. Griddle, crockpot, fryer… things you wouldn’t normally find in a rental. We had a great time. Location great, house was clean. We did have trouble getting into the home through the key pad. But the agent was quick to help us get to the extra key to the home. Overall great beach house!

BEST. BEACH. VACATION. EVER.

Pelican's Landing was our best vacation ever. The home was even better than advertised. There were so many amennities that we had never been offered before. The pack & play and high chair was so thoughtful. The home was clean and very well stocked. If I had a beach home, I'd decorate it just the way Lisa did! It was an easy walk to the beach . Lisa was so nice and easy to work with. We will be back next summer and many more years to come.

Heaven on the coast

What an amazing experience! We had such a great stay. Everything was great from the moment I booked the rental all the way till the end of our stay. The owner answered every question promptly. She was easy to work with and was willing to help. The beginning of our stay was such an easy transaction. We fell in love with the location right away. The house was clean, amazing and just as pictured. The kitchen is gorgeous. We loved all the furnishings. The location was great. 9 minuye walk to the beach. 5 mins walk to the pool/marina. The kids enjoyed it so much. Would definitely book again.

Great location for family fun

This home was just the right size and had everything you could need for a family vacation. The location was perfectly between the beach and pool, close enough to local attractions but away from the busy parts of Galveston. The host was very quick to respond to questions. Definitely recommend!

We are The Boland's we live in League City, Tx about an hour from Pelican landing we have 3 girls and a spoiled 4 year old lab, Harley. For years we have rented beach houses in Galveston and Surfside and we are proud to call Pelican Landing our own. The home is truly perfect for our family and we are excited to share it with other families.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We choose Pelican Landing for so many reasons, first and foremost it is in a great location. Terramar has something for everyone with the beach right down the street and the bay down the street as well. We have the best of both worlds for our beach lovers and our fishermen. Terramar is also golf cart friendly, we have so much fun cruising in cart and taking the golf cart to dinner at the The West End Marina. Pelican landing HAS FOUR bedrooms which was huge for us having 3 girls, there is space for everyone to sleep comfortably and that's sometimes hard to come by at the beach. We also love that we have a fully fenced yard, our dog Harley thinks she is in heaven when we are at the beach house!

Some unique benefits of the house are that it is super clean!! We recently replaced all the flooring with luxury vinyl flooring which is GREAT for the beach. The kitchen was also updated with a large, counter-height breakfast bar and stunning quartz counters. We try to supply all the things we appreciate while on a beach vacation we have a bunch of puzzles and games at the house for our guest to use. We cannot wait to host you!
