Wonderful stay!

We had a great time and loved Palmetto Dunes. The condo was very clean, stocked with plenty of towels and helpful things like utensils, and was private and quiet. Perfect for our family of 3. Beds were ok and upstairs balcony says “do not use” but other than that, it was great! Would definitely book again.

Great for a guys' golf outing

I already submitted a review under the heading Great for a guys' golf outing. One thing I forgot to mention: we had some trouble with the tv after the third day. We couldn't get any of the main channels. I contacted the maintenance department and they came the next day to fix it. We appreciated their prompt response.

Just right for a guys' golf week

Had everything we needed for a guys' golf outing. There were some communication snafus though. I requested beach chairs and an umbrella, but they were never delivered. Then I got an email saying my bikes were going to be delivered. No bikes came, but that was ok because I hadn't requested them in the first place. Lastly, there were some very unsightly cobwebs that were hanging down on the balcony off the one bedroom. There was a notice not to use the balcony, but the balcony should still look clean.

This is located in a great place, close to everything,including the beach. It was clean and comfortable. we had a great time. But there were 2 problems. One, it was to have a DVD player but did NOT! Called the Representative on the first day about it and never got back to use during the 2 weeks we were there. The other thing were the sliding doors off Dining room to the deck and sliding doors to the deck off the one bedroom were not to be used, note said broken. The side sliding door off the living room did work so we were able to use the back deck. The area was very close to stores, food stores, and activities. The beach you could get to by a 3 minute drive, parking at the Disney Beach House public parking or it was a 7 minute walk. Enjoyed the 2 weeks we were there and will go back again in the future.

Loved our stay.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at 39 Fazio in Palmetto Dunes. The minute we walked in the door we felt so at home in the beautifully decorated and clean villa which had a lovely, fresh smell. The kitchen was furnished with all the necessary things to make meals if you choose to cook rather than go out and enjoy all the wonderful Hilton Head restaurants. The beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept in. I normally have trouble sleeping through the night but slept soundly each of the five nights there on extremely comfortable mattresses! The location of the villa is perfect as there is so much to offer in Palmetto Dunes such as tennis, pickleball, golf or just relaxing at the beach which is just a short bike ride or walk from the villa. If you prefer a pool, it is located just across the parking lot from the villa. I can't say enough about how nice our stay was and we plan to definitely come back and enjoy it again!

Fazio Villa in Palmetto Dunes

The villa is very spacious and clean. Beds are super comfy - even the sofa bed. Communications were excellent. Nice spacious laundry room adjoining the kitchen was a bonus. Appliances are a bit dated, but work fine. Beach access is a 10 minute walk/5 minute bike ride at the Disney property. Pool is 2 minute walk. Palmetto Dunes is a beautiful property. I really recommend renting a bike to get around. You can also bike to nearby Shelter Cove on the bike path that goes under the main road, where you can see cool boats and enjoy restaurants and shopping. The General Store in Palmetto Dunes is also a great bike destination for snacks and beach gear.

The villa was very clean and perfect for our family of 6. The beach towels were great size and took one thing off of our plate. I loved having dish washing soap, laundry soap, paper towels and trash bags upon arrival. The key pad on the front door made it very easy for my elementary aged kids to come and go. We will be back!

Our retirement & Anniversary celebration getaway!

This was the first time I experienced a “stress free” vacation from the property management to the property itself. My sister told me about VRBO & I was so happy she did! As soon as I was locked in, the manager called, introduced themselves, asked if I had any questions and let me know what the next step would be. They were very nice and very helpful! The condo was just as nice as the pictures and the area was so quiet! The pool and beach were within a 10 minute walking distance. If you didn’t want to walk, they have a small bus that will pick you up and drop you off anywhere in Palmetto Dunes & The Disney Villas. There is a General Store that is very convenient for something you may need or want. Also a couple of great restaurants and golf courses! My husband and I took our son and granddaughter to share in our celebration and everyone loved it to the moon and back!! Thanks so much!!!

It was ok.

Bathroom sinks did not drain, one toilet did not work, another one had a broken toilet seat, shower door was jammed and did not close. Good location, however, within Palmetto Dunes.

Beautiful, clean, open & welcoming!

We were so thrilled with our stay here. There's so many wonderful things to mention. Great experience booking. The large and very well equipped kitchen was such a pleasure to prepare meals. Everything was so clean. Having a crock pot - such a pleasant surprise. Loved the location, the peaceful mornings on the deck, & using the grill. Biking to beach was fun- it's not far at all. I was concerned that it would be. It was a shady ride & very enjoyable. The bedrooms & bathrooms were great as well. The beds are very comfy & decor very nice. This trip will be on my list of all time favorites. Ready to book here again!!

Great stay

As a first time traveler to HHI, this Villa met our needs. Darcy at Hilton Head Properties was great to work with. We had one small issue at ckeck in, which she resolved immediately for us with just a phone call. The discounted bike and chair rental from Comfy bikes proved to be very useful, and convenient (discount is provided for HHP renters, and proved to be cheaper than going elsewhere. Villa Pros: Very spacious bedrooms, and great lay out downstairs as well. Large enough unit, and bathrooms for a family with multiple children. The location was very close to Shelter Cove by bike, including the underpass for easy access. Lots of restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores in Shelter Cove, and fireworks every Tuesday night! Also, very easy access to the beach by bike or walking. The beach itself was very calm, relaxing, and not crowded like the "scene" near Colligney. Villa Cons: Villa itself was a little dated, and could have used a little TLC and a good cleaning (we found cobwebs in our shower, and in several of the corners and windows when we arrived). Though close to Shelter Cove, Palmetto Dunes is far removed from most everything else. There are not a lot of restaurants within walking distance within the plantation itself (outside of those at hotels). After a few visits to Seapines, I found the action in Harbourtown to be more our scene. The pool in the complex could have used a good cleaning. Some days it was hard to see the bottom of the pool, and there was always debris(leaves, dead bugs, sticks etc) floating in the water. Overall, I would recommend this villa to anyone who just wants to chill at the beach, or golf at Fazio.
