We keep coming back as this condo is ideal (exceptional ocean view; well-stocked kitchen; comfy furniture), and the amenities at Sea Colony are terrific. Bring your tennis racket, pickle ball paddle, basket ball, workout clothing and swim suit!

Beautiful condo; very quiet and private…and THE OCEANFRONT VIEW…WOW! 15 minute walk to town, the pickleball courts are brand new and easy to reserve a court. Will definitely revisit this condo in Sea Colony. A+++

Outstanding Unit

OMG, what a view. We had a lovely time. The unit was very clean and well stocked. The process of checking in was very easy and the condo was very nicely decorated. We will definitely be back over the summer and enjoy all of Sea Colony's amenities. Thank you Vacasa.

Disappointing

Well, we loved the ocean view from our balcony. Unfortunately what we loved ends there. When we arrived we were told that our packet would be on the kitchen table, but it wasn’t and we had to track it down. Cleanliness was an issue. In additions to food stains on the kitchen table, both toilets had mold around the rims. The master bath trash can was filled, along with an abundance of hair. We called Vacasa to complain and they did send someone to clean. When we returned the trash can had been emptied, but the toilets were only less moldy. Communication with Vacasa was a disaster. Upon arrival we tried to lower the AC temperature, but it kept getting warmer. I looked at the AC unit, and it was frozen up. We were without AC for two days. Finally a repair person came and fixed it. No one from Vacasa took the time to contact us to see if everything was taken care of. Everything seemed like it was okay until one evening a mouse ran across the living room floor. Folks, you can’t make this stuff up.

Renter Beware

The listing is slightly different than the actual home. The kitchen is nice, but it’s actually all white and the countertops aren’t granite and there’s a different entertainment center with a TV in the living room. Overall, the house is dated, but it’s fine for a 1 week vacation. However, it must be noted that the homeowner has a dog, and there was dog hair everywhere, which was not disclosed when we booked the house.

Great stay at Sea Colony

We found the condo to be clean and well appointed. There were a few minor things that need some attention but I alerted vacasa and received a quick response. The 3 BDRs were clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for a great weekend away.

Great family beach getaway!

This was our first time at the beach in Delaware and we were really impressed with the Bethany Beach area and Sea Colony as a place to stay! I was a little nervous that it would feel too big and be too crowded - but it's an extremely well-managed development and they keep the grounds and amenities in great condition. Being there during the pandemic, I was also really impressed with how respectful all the staff and other guests were with wearing masks, social distancing, only going one family at a time into the elevator etc. The unit itself was fantastic: really spacious and with stunning views. We paid for linens to be provided and the towels were some of the softest we've ever used! We were also pleasantly surprised that some of the decor had been updated as well vs what you see in the vrbo listing pictures. There are now stainless steel appliances, new bedding in some rooms, and other new soft furnishings to update the space a little. Looks great! Shower curtain liner and bath mat in en suite are stained and due to be replaced and the light in the other shower needs a cap to cover the bulb - but other than that everything was perfect. Thank you for a great stay!
