Bring your Pup(s) to the Hygge Hut! Dog friendly, Ski, SnowBoard, SnowShoe, Golf, Swim, Hike, Ride, Shop, Relax…..Repeat!

Perfect relaxing weekend retreat for the pups, couples, a small family, a friends getaway with ski/board, golfing, hiking, swimming, boating, tubing, shopping and relaxing all within walking distance or just a short drive away! Plenty of parking at our house for motorcycles/ski mobiles/ trailer in our driveway and beautiful rides thru the mountains!

Our inviting and essentially designed A-Frame has an open concept hygge Scandinavian style located at Ossipee Lake Area on the 17th hole with sweeping views of the Golf course and minutes to several Ski mountains, NH state parks, hiking, snow shoe and cross country ski trails.

The Hygge Hut has 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4) and has a relaxed cozy vibe! The house is an A frame style so the primary bedroom and living area are not large but very relaxing! Located directly on the 17th hole of the Indian Mound Golf Course (public course) with lots to do on beautiful Ossipee Lake… public town boat launch, swimming, fishing, rentals for boating, jet skiing. Short drive to many hiking trails, NH state parks and the White Mountains for skiing, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, snow tubing and snow mobile adventures! Book your tee time, enjoy a golf weekend with friends, a romantic getaway, shopping at the NH outlets, an outdoor adventure weekend or just relax on the deck at the Hygge Hut! Stay Cozy!!

Additional information: check in time is 4pm and check out is 10am. There is a $100 pet fee/ per pet/stay and pet(s) must be approved by owner in advance of stay. No parties, weddings or events onsite and 4 occupants maximum (Additional children considered). There is a 100% no smoking/vaping policy on or near the property including the back deck or your entire deposit will be forfeited. There are ring cameras at front door and backyard for security. Please inform us of any additional guests staying over (there is an extra charge) and the max is 4 occupants unless previously requested and approved for additional guests. This Hygge Hut was adorable. It looked just like the photos. We stayed for 2 nights to attend a wedding. Although small, the second night our adult sons joined us and we all fit fine. The outside screened-in porch was great! Very unique. close to several restaurants. We went for breakfast at the River's Edge at the golf course. Very good breakfast.

Great weekend getaway

The Hygge Hut is so cute and met all our needs. My 3yo was obsessed with the “triangle house.” It’s location was convenient to many amenities and easy access to skiing.

A Frame Hidden Gem

We had a great time at the Hygge Hut, it was very cozy and a great experience for our family along with our pup. We enjoyed the golf course path, the many recommendations for food and things to do in the area, as well as the overall vibe of the place. Lisa was a great host, and everything was just as described in the listing. We look forward to visiting again.

Great spot!

Our stay at The Hygge Hut was amazing! The property was just what we needed for ourselves and two dogs. The pups had a blast hiking through local spots and checking out the beach. It was super relaxing and a great way for us to reset! The host's instructions were super clear and they were very easy to reach out to with quick responses. Thanks for the stay!

Loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay here. This is definitely a tiny home and the back patio could use a little love but overall well worth it. There is a small toaster oven, microwave, and refrigerator available, if you need it. There are blankets throughout the home. I really did enjoy sipping my morning coffee on the back patio watching the golfers as the view was great. Easy access to the main road. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy family getaway

We had a wonderful time at this cozy A-Frame! My daughters loved the loft bedroom upstairs. Perfect for a family of 4! Our two dogs felt right at home as well! If it wasn’t winter I could imagine the back porch would’ve been amazing to sit & have coffee in the AM. Great location next to all restaurants & the lake. We spent time visiting with friends near by for the new year & it was super close & convenient. Would highly recommend this to a couple or small family. Thank you!

Ossipee vacation

The house was cute and just as pictured and the setting in back was great. The house was tidy, but could use a thorough cleaning. There were cobwebs, dust, dog hair/fuzz under furniture, on window sills, etc. We were disappointed the pool/beach were not available, but the host gave us the option to cancel for a full refund in advance.

hello...thanks for letting me know about the cobwebs and dog hair - I will check with my cleaners as they send me a video prior to your arrival and it looked very clean. Thank you for mentioning that the HOA rules changed and that I did offer a full cancellation refund but since you were keeping the reservation I also refunded you the $100 pet fee charge for your dog for the inconvenience of the HOA change for not allowing any renters as guests at the private beach/pool. Cozy weekend getaway

The property was centrally located and easy to access. The home was furnished with all the basics and was so cozy! The only thing we could have used that was missing was a coat rack for hanging jackets or clothes, since there isn't a closet space. We had some formal wear for a wedding we were attending but couldn't find a spot to hang it besides the towel hook on the bathroom door. Groceries and shopping were a 10-minute drive away. It was just my husband and I staying in the area for a wedding at King Pine. We were also celebrating our 12-year anniversary. We enjoyed traveling the back roads in the lakes region and made a day trip to N. Conway, about 30-min North. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you for letting us share your space.

Such a happy place to stay

This house was perfect for a family get away to relax. It was just the end of fall so there was a little snow on the ground and the golf course was closed, which was great for us to go walking and for our little dog to run around. The house is very well designed with everything you need.

Cozy and clean

We enjoyed our stay at the Hygge Hut. Clean, cozy, and comfortable. It was a bit closer to the road than we had expected from the photos, but the location is very good for all White Mountain activities. We appreciated how dog friendly the space was and we enjoyed walking around the golf course and down to the lake. Lisa was very responsive when we had a question. Thank you!

Cute little house

This house was great! Super cute design and decor. Great location to Wolfeboro (20 minute drive). There was private access to Lake Ossipee but a little drive from the house and not our preference for the type of access for swimming - more a spot to enjoy the scenery and have a picnic.

Now we want an A frame house with lake access…

This was perfect for the weekend getaway my husband and I were hoping for. It made all the difference in the world to have our puppies with us- they loved the ease of the back porch and deck all with the added bonus of watching all the golfers as they passed by. We happened to catch some beautiful sunsets mixed with passing thunderstorms during our stay. The lake access was lovely- about a mile up the road, with lots of sand, picnic tables and more area on the lake to explore than I ever imagined without access to a boat. You gazed right at the mountain right across the lake. For those who love to hike, incredible trails were on every side (we enjoyed Sentinel and Whiteface Mountain trails during our stay- both around 2 miles and just the right challenge for a couple 40 year olds wanting to tire out their pups and take in a stunning summit but not too far away). Food was easy to find (we really enjoyed the local Mountainview Station 1.5 miles away, then also Wolfetrap Grill and Rawbar right on lake Winnipesaukee about 20 minutes away). Aroma Joes was great for coffee in the morning (drive through and only 4 miles away). As far as the house, it’s just as charming and clean as it looks in the pictures. Everything in the house was comfortable, we loved the mattresses (our backs just can’t hack an old mattress anymore). The host was really helpful, friendly and available if needed. We loved the welcome snacks and wine after a long drive in. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Great Little Place

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hygge hut. It was immaculate and well stocked. Its location on the golf course was perfect. Most importantly, we could bring our two small pups with us. Perfect getaway at the Hygge Hut!

The Hygge Hut was just what we needed for our weekend getaway. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. It’s also in a perfect location to enjoy some peace and quite, just minutes away from the lake where you get to enjoy the beautiful scenic views of the mountains. The host was very attentive and thoughtful with every detail, and even ensured that our pup felt welcomed at the Hygge. Our pup fell in love with the freedom he had watching the golf carts pass by. We cannot wait to return again!

Perfect house for lake vacation

House was the perfect size for our family. My husband and two young kids really enjoyed this fully renovated A frame home. It is close to Ossipee Lake and had a great view off the back deck overlooking the golf club. Also it was decorated very nicely.
