Bienvenido a esta linda y acogedora cochera situada a orillas del lago Ossipee en una comunidad muy privada. ¡Hay otras 16 casitas convertidas en esta propiedad que solía ser un campamento de Girl Scouts! La casa de transporte se ha actualizado recientemente con todos los electrodomésticos de cocina nuevos, alfombras nuevas y pisos y muebles de madera barnizados. Disfrute de una propiedad privada junto al lago con 20 pies de playa privada y pura serenidad con vistas a las hermosas montañas blancas. La única casa privada es accesible por un tramo de escaleras. The lake and beach were wonderful. It was a perfect place for kayaking and vacationing with sand and shallow waters all along the shores. The house was clean and comfortable, although the beds and couches were not comfortable. I was hoping to be able to see more of the lake from the house, but the short walk to the private beach is not a problem and very easy to get to. I really enjoyed sitting by a campfire and listening to the loons on the lake.We were hoping to have a relaxing, quiet stay for 9 days, but several of the neighbors ensured we heard everything going on at their house, being rudely loud well into the late hours on the weekends despite there being rules for quiet hours. We were at least able to enjoy the quiet during the week, and we turned on the air conditioners on the weekends.Our host, Leigh, was wonderful, responding quickly when we were having an issue with the oven on the gas stove which she helped us resolve. It is an ideal family vacation spot during the week.

Our stay was fantastic! The Carriage House was definitely an extremely immaculate and enjoyable facility. The area where it is located is very quiet and enjoyable. The access to the lake is great. I would HIGHLY recommend this property!

Ossipee Lake Vacation

Our stay was great. We were naturally there during one of the hottest stretches of June, but no matter. The window AC units worked just fine and kept the house pleasantly cool! Shower is awkward (low shower head and bathroom ceiling in shower is at a low angle) and has low water pressure. However, it is a working shower and it kept us clean, so I cannot complain at all. Downstairs has been completely renovated and is absolutely lovely - TONS of space to stretch out, relax and keep cool. While not a direct ‘lake front’ property, you are an actual stones throw away and access is a two second walk. The location is beautiful, with exceptional lake views and sounds. The newly added deck makes for a wonderful space to relax outside and hear the loons at night against a backdrop of stars in the sky. Leigh is fabulous to work with. Clear and easy to follow check-in and checkout instructions and extremely communicative. Would love to visit again!!

Solid home base on Lake Ossipee

The local motel was charging $500/night because of Columbus Day weekend. I’m glad I found this spot which put us close to relatives in Tamworth. Shower was awkwardly small because of the sloped roof. A windstorm knocked out the power and water for 12 hours of our stay. Aside from that everything about the place was good. Nice view of the lake from the house.

Great little lakeside getaway!

The Cozy Carriage House on Lake Ossipee is a great house in the lovely neighborhood of Weetamoe Shores. It has been nicely restored and upgraded with a beautiful Non-slip vinyl Deck. It has a cozy upstairs with 2 bedrooms, large living room and full sized kitchen, which is very good for this community of small houses. There is an expansive playroom downstairs that you can walk out from. We had a great week of fresh air, lake fun, and listening to the loons at sunset and sunrise. Very happy all around. -Keith

Fantastic stay at the carriage house

We loved our few days at the carriage house! Communicating with the owner was super-easy, and she made us feel very welcome. Our weekend there was cool and rainy, but we still had a great time. The property was beautiful -- we loved the cozy living room upstairs and the foosball table downstairs. We were also very happy to find a well-stocked kitchen. We'd love to come back in the summer to get the full lake experience!

2nd Labor Day Stay

Came back for another stay with my family for Labor Day Weekend. Loved it even more than last year with the new deck! The dock spot is the best perk for us.

Perfect location and space for us!

This is our second time staying here and we love it! Perfect amount of space for our family of 4. We love that it’s walking distance right over to the lake. The property manager is very nice and if there’s ever an issue she responds right away.

Perfect Family Vacation Spot!

My family and I just returned home from a week at the Cozy Carriage House and I can't say enough good things about it! From promptly answering questions before we even booked our trip, to helping us with little things during our visit, to thanking us for our stay, Leigh was the perfect host! The constant communication was incredibly appreciated! Upon arrival we found the Carriage House to be very clean and extremely organized. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook for a family of four, including a griddle (which was great because I packed ours and the plug was damaged during our travel)! We were all so excited about the new deck that has been added to the home. In addition to my morning coffees and a book on the deck, we also enjoyed most meals outside and many family games overlooking the lake. Ossipee Lake is our favorite summer vacation spot and the private beach included with this property is absolutely perfect to enjoy it from. The soft sand was great for the kids to play in and we loved bringing Leigh's kayaks and canoe out onto the water. One of our favorite things to do was to make s'mores on the beach in the evenings. Leigh provides wood for the fires as well as a wagon to transport it. Very much appreciated! When we weren't outside on the deck or on the lake, we were spending time in the finished downstairs area of the Carriage House. There's a beautiful lake view from downstairs and it was a great area for family movie nights!

Cozy Carriage House

Our stay was everything we wanted and more! Clean, well stocked, and always got back to you if you had a question! We had a great boat dock and they supplied a wagon to get our bags and cooler to boat! They just put on a beautiful double decker deck on the side of the carriage house! Love it and hopefully we get back again! Plus they finished the whole bottom into one large game/tv room!

We enjoyed our weekend stay in this wonderful lake-view home. The house is well-equipped and comfortable. Communication was excellent and very prompt. We enjoyed using the kayaks and sitting by the lake and fire pit in the evenings.! Great place to relax and enjoy a memorable lake-side vacation.

Great family getaway with our boat!

This was a last minute find for Labor Day weekend and we absolutely loved it! The location, beach, and ability to dock our boat was perfect. Our girls (3 & 1) had a blast playing on the beach and running back and forth from the house. It was perfect size for us 4. Curious if the owners will furnish the downstairs more so we can hang out down there more. We've already booked another stay!

Great property and location

We had a wonderful stay. House is located in a small, private community that has everything you need. Private beach with water toys (provided by host) and reservable dock space. House is well maintained and has everything you need. Supermarket and restaurants are close by. Leigh is a great host, was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend and and wouldnt hesitate to rent again!

Wonderful Week

The property was perfect, short walk to the lake and very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. If we return to Ossipee for a week, we would likely rent here again. The only knocks were the bathroom door made the small bathroom feel even smaller, I’m average sized and had trouble getting in and out as it opened in, and the oven made the whole room hot. Probably not normally a problem, but it was hot our week.

Great stay, beautiful lake

My family of three (2 adults and a toddler) loved our stay on the lake. It’s a perfect location. Quiet neighborhood and beautiful. The private section of beach was amazing, with plenty of space between houses. We loved the included kayaks for early mornings out in the quiet lake. Leigh has plenty of items Included at the beach like paddleboards, kayaks, life jackets, toys, swim floats, chairs. The fire pit was great at night and Leigh has wood there for you to use and a wagon. The unit was well equipped and clean. There were 2 ac window units and fans for warmer days. Perfect house for a small family. Leigh was a great communicator and we had no issues at all. Look forward to visiting again!

Great Place

This is my 2nd time staying here with my brothers. It is a great spot and great access to our favorite lake. The place was so clean and had all the necessities. I especially loved the addition of the bonus room. A great place to hang for those rainy days. We met and hung out with the neighbor who made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back.

It has been over 30 years of traveling up to Lake Ossipee. From when we were kids taking our annual trip to Camp Calumet to spend 2 weeks of our summer among pure beauty and serenity. Of course we didn't realize it at the time but over the years we realized that it was the beautiful surrounding and being in nature that continued to draw us to Lake Ossipee. We finally decided to purchase our own little piece of the Lake. We hope you will enjoy this charming lakeside carriage house as much as we do.
