The 2025 Vacation Season is here!!! Book your vacation now!! Our nightly rates are very competitive - availability will not last. Make memories at the newly updated Beach Club Resort and new elevator. Unlike other condos, we are located near all the amenities. No need to rent a golf cart or pack the car each time you want to enjoy the beach club. Our condo is the perfect location with beach views throughout the unit just steps away from the resort, newly renovated bar/grill and beach access paths. The unit is first to have the new elevator put in service. Enjoy the quite isolated beach with family and friends just steps away from the condo.

Spacious 2-bedroom, 2 full bath condo sleeps up to 6 at Pointe West Beach Resort. Ocean views from all living areas and Master bedroom. Resort offers over 3 miles of private beach, assigned garage parking, new elevator, pools/spa, gym, game room onsite restaurant and bar/grill.

The space:
Upon arrival, the gorgeous ocean views throughout is sure to set the mood for a relaxing getaway! Full width balcony with access from living and master is a great gathering space for everyone to enjoy the views and sounds of the waves rolling onto the beach.

Pointe West Beach Club is situated adjacent for easy strolling to enjoy all the amenities the resort has to offer – no need to pack up the car. Beach access is a picturesque stroll across the boardwalk.

Sandy Toes sleeps 6 comfortably with master bed (queen) and custom bunk beds in second bedroom. Accommodations offered include cable, wifi, fully equipped kitchen, dining for 6, washer/dryer, linens, patio furniture, blue tooth speakers at balcony, and lounging area.

Guest access
Guest access will be granted to electronic lock via emailed welcoming package. Guests will have access to the exclusive Pointe West Beach Club with 3 pools (infinity pool, lazy river, kiddie pool), hot tub, gym, game room, lockers, walking and bike trails throughout the resort and gulf coast fishing. Off-Season access to Pointe West Beach Club included in rental rate - coordination for access code will be granted prior to arrival. Guests to comply with rules and regulations (additional fees may apply).

Other things to note
The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, oven, cook top, microwave, utensils (service for 8), Keurig coffee maker, blender, toaster, and much more. Convenient washer and dryer with detergent pods and dryer sheets available for your use.

Galveston destinations and recommendations are all within a short drive into town – including Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Pleasure Pier, Historical Strand and much more! Major shopping options are located in approximately 20 miles towards the east end of the island. There are several local grocery and restaurants approximately 5 miles from the resort.

We had a great week at Pointe West. We loved the proximity to the beach club and beach! We cooked a few nights and were able to find all we needed in the kitchen. Having access to the storage unit with chairs and beach items was helpful.

Great place

The condo was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked well enough to cook all of our meals. The view is beautiful. The short walk to the beach club and the beach itself was so nice. The property owners were quick to respond. We appreciated the use of their wagon and access to the storage closet.

Great Beach Condo

This is my second stay at this condo. It was clean, and well equipped. We made Thanksgiving Dinner and had everything we needed. The patio has 2 great lawn chairs that I truly appreciate at the beach, it also had a great bar-height table where we were able to sit and have meal or happy hour. Very enjoyable all-around.

Very nice stay overall

The only reason I did not give a straight five star is because the floors of the property were dirty. We too noticed that when we walked barefoot, our feet were black. We just used one of the towels we had brought to wipe our dog's paws to clean the floors . The living room furniture and carpet in the bedrooms (we used only one) could use cleaning/replacing. However, the condo is extremely well equipped with all you need in the kitchen and bathroom. The location is very nice with unobstructed view of the ocean. The walk to the beach is great and the whole resort is just what we were looking for. It was very peaceful WE will gladly go back .

Dirty, Smelly, & NOT Well Maintained!

The home itself does indeed have an ocean view, but in our opinion, that’s all it had going for it. The ocean is much further away from the property than depicted. The fountain in the middle of the pond runs from 9am to 10pm, so unless you’re up early or late, don’t expect to be able to listen to the sound of the ocean from the balcony. We didn’t even want to sit on the balcony anyway - all of the furniture and furniture cushions were nasty dirty. In fact, the entire home was dirty - that picture of my foot was taken ONE HOUR after we arrived. Needless to say, I didn’t walk around barefoot after that. Missing smoke alarms, dilapidated kitchen drawers and cabinet doors, and strong mildew smell throughout. We had to buy Febreze and glade plug ins just to be able to tolerate the smell in the place. DO NOT attempt to do laundry with the in-unit washer and dryer - the dryer ruined a dress because the lint trap is defective and catches clothing, PLUS the clothes I washed ended up smelling like mildew. The entire laundry closet smells like mold. The heated pool was NOT heated for 2 full days, and we had to ask the owner to find out why. The owner seemed unconcerned about it, even after mentioning that our stay was not pleasant. Bring bug spray because the mosquitoes at dusk will carry you off. This area of the island is away from all the action, which is nice, but it also means that you’re 30 min from anything other than a restaurant and gas station. We won’t return.

Great location

They property location right next to beach house pool was a bonus. Was comfortable letting our teenagers go to pool without us. Great food at the pointe restaurant. Kids loved the smoothies!

Fabulous Last Minute Stay!

I booked our stay last minute before school starts and am so glad we lucked out with this condo! Lots of space and very well equipped for our needs. Pool, restaurant and beach are all an easy walk away. I'd only recommend taking tupperware with lids if you plan to cook and store leftovers and sheets for using fold out sofa bed. Great hosts, thank you!

Great area, nice ammenities with beach club

4 stars might be generous for our experience but I believe this is a nice place others would definitely enjoy and don’t want to dissuade anyone. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach, it’s been a bit since we’ve been to Galveston. The beach access you have from the beach club is not motorized vehicle friendly unless you have disabilities, in which case you have to drive about a mile down the cart paths to access the vehicle part of the beach and then drive back south through the barriers toward the beach club about a mile or so. We just utilized the cart path route and hung out on the beach where vehicles are allowed. The lazy river is on the opposite side of the highway but still accessible via car or cart path. The beach club is awesome. Has a pool, the restaurant was nice and had good service. The bar above the restaurant was cool and we were allowed to take drinks back to the condo. There was plenty of cart parking underneath the beach club if you like to rent golf carts. There are a handful of close restaurants, if you don’t like those options expect atleast a 30 min drive or so closer to Galveston. The room was right by the elevators and made unloading vehicle easy. If it weren’t for the two issues we had I would give this 5 stars and our experience would have been perfect. The two things I would suggest is to figure out a backup plan for checking in if keypad doesn’t work. We were locked out from checking in for 4.5 hours after being in the car 7 hours with a 2 year old, 5 yr old, and a dog. That being said the owner drove down from north Houston to let us in and made it right but definitely started vacation off rough. The house is really nice with a great view and big patio but definitely need to find a new cleaning company. My wife spent an hour and a half cleaning the floors and small bathroom at the place the first night, after checking in late, while I unloaded the truck. The owner called the cleaning company to reclean the next day while we were at the beach and they still did a lousy job. After that we just finished it ourselves and went on with life. Please find a new cleaning company. It wasn’t a 5 star experience, but definitely could be with some minor changes. That’s my reason for not bashing the place with a terrible review. We would stay here again and recommend it if those 2 things were addressed.

Perfect Family Getaway

Our trip was perfect thanks to this property and the resort access. The unit was clean and comfy and felt more spacious than I expected. All the furniture and linens were clean and good quality. We loved being just a short walk away from a pool, restaurant, and the beach. (For families considering this rental, the walk is short for adults but we pulled our toddler in a wagon.) We would absolutely visit again!

Short Stay

We throughly enjoyed our stay,. The apartment is very well equipped and pleasant. Beds are comfortable. It could do with a deep cleaning. The balcony fan is in need of replacement. Overall we would highly recommend Ponte West and will certainly return.

Another great birthday trip - Repeat Customer

We have enjoyed coming back to this property multiple times now. The place is always clean and the owners have always been great at communicating details and providing additional information when needed. The amenities in our condo as well as the beach gear have always been a pleasure to have so that we don't have to pack all of the necessity. Will continue to come back.

Great Family vacation destination

Our family of six had a great spring vacation at Sandy Toes. There were plenty of comfy beds and space for everyone in the condo. The amenities at Pointe West kept us busy with different pools and the beach. Plus the pointe grill had delicious food and drinks when we didn't want to cook . We were able to rent a golf cart and explore the property. We had a few issues with check in at the club house and our key pad lock but they were quickly resolved with great communication. We would definitely recommend this property.

In 2019, we embarked on the vacation rental business, creating Pointe West - Sandy Toes. We strive to offer our guests the opportunity to escape and engulf themselves in creating memories.

Pointe West - Sandy Toes was launched as a way to describe our vacation destination. We have thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation rental business and memories it continues to bring us.
