Beautiful condo, perfect location on the beach. very secure, great amenities, it has a pool table and free multi arcade in the recreation room, a pool, jacuzzi. the condo amenities were spacious, nice porch views, mini golf right across the street. likely to come back.

Luxurious Condo

We were extremely impressed with the size, amenities, and cleanliness of the condo. We had everything we needed and more provided, including tons of beach gear! The host was friendly and showed us around the entire property to make sure we knew all that the property had to offer. It was also pretty cool to be right across from the Congo Mini Golf course. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay

Affordability was key initially, but we couldn’t have asked for a better place. Location, right on beach and across from dollar general. The owner was very responsive to any questions. Very secure with codes to access all locations in the building. Other perks we loved include access to beach chairs, wonderful master shower, etc. Thank you!

Great vacation condo for a family of 6. More than enough room. Great commutation with the host. Love the two balconies. Pool/hot tub and beach location was perfect. Only cons I could say - not the best beds we’ve slept in.

Family Vacation

We love staying at Opus condominiums. This was our first time staying in 601. It was an easy check in process and the condo was clean. There was a small leak in 1 bathroom during our stay that was taken care of very quickly. The property manager was very friendly and quick to respond.

Wonderful get away

We had a wonderful time. The condo was located in a great spot to access both ends of the strip easily with a dollar general across the street for easy quick needs. The condo was roomy and clean. The pool, hot tub and beach access were the best part. Right there! Underground gated parking was a huge plus. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was great.. the property owner let me know in advance with the issues of the pool and sea wall.. no problem we were right on the beach.. the property was well maintained a few dated items but nothing to really make me worry. Sam was a great host as well.

The property needs a deep clean. The floor was dirty spider webs on lamp shade. The blinds needs to be replaced. The screens need to be cleaned. The mattress in all the bedroom needs to be replaced. Need more towels.

Property was good .. diappointed that pool & jacuzzi were not open due to destruction of hurrican 2 yrs ago... that was not mentioned in ad. The rest of property was nice but the mattresses in bedrooms were not .. when washing pillowcases, there were nasty stains on pillows .. pillows were horrible and the blinds were crap .. some fell during stay but I fixed them .. guess condo owner just wants $$ and does not care about his product!

The ad clearly says the pool is closed, and the blind needs to open virtual before moving it left or write if you don't do that for sure will be down or broken. Please when you do review be fair.

Not as advertised

The property was really nice except we were never told that the pool and hot tub were closed and under construction. This was crucial for our trip to FL when it is below 0 in MN! We wasted a lot of time moving from one condo to another, and then back to the original because the 2nd condo was horrible. It was a fiasco. The condo really needs new mattresses.

Beware

This rating is based on the level of difficulty working with this host, the misleading description, and the cheap/uncomfortable furnishings. We stay at Opus annually and this unit is not up to Opus’ standards. Negatives: 1) The host, Baba, does not list that the pool & beach access is closed. I understand this is out of his control, however he should update his listing with current information or at least notify his guests of the closure. By the time I found out the pool & beach access were closed, I was unable to cancel/edit the trip without losing my money. At the suggestion of the VRBO rep I tried to work with the host on updating the dates of our stay after repairs were made, he refused. The rep and I talked to him about canceling and me receiving a full/partial refund so I could book elsewhere with a pool and beach access for my family, he argued & refused. 2) The master bedroom mattress is so old and uncomfortable you can feel the springs. After reading his reviews, I messaged politely asking if the mattresses had been updated yet. He replied those reviews were old and the mattresses had been replaced. With old ones if so. 3) The furnishings are old & cheap as you find. Positives: The units are very spacious including this one. It was clean, it could be a very nice unit. The host did offer to meet us in town and give us access to a pool at a another location but we did not want to ride back in the car in wet clothes. If you like Opus, look for another unit.

Jessica you say I miss lead you that's not correct you absolutely lair you know from the first day the pool area was closed as 80% of the property on the beach was closed from the last hurricane and I have your text saying you were hopping it open by the time you arrive and when you find out it still closed you call to ask for cancel I told you to go cancel for a full refund but you take your time until 5 days from arrival .for sure at this point I refuse and as you admit I offer to you access to another pool but after you agree you cancel as you say in your review. you back to all review in last year about matters and you ignore all the review after this date no one has complained about the matters from a year ago except you try to as you can put blames on me and my unit. guests like you are not welcome and I advise all hosts don't deal with guests keeps changing their minds agree on things than change than blaems other
