Mt Princeton Hot Springs, white water rafting and hiking are all at your doorstep. Relax on the deck while gazing at Mt Antero and Mt Princeton, or enjoy our great room with cozy fireplace and amazing views of the Chalk Cliffs. The basement boasts a large game room well suited for fun of all ages. Decorated and stocked with everything your family will need, Cactus Flower has it all.

This home is just perfect and so well cared for. We had plenty of space, really enjoyed cooking meals in the well appointed kitchen and hanging out in both cozy living areas. The views are so beautiful with local deer adding to the backdrop each day. We had a very Merry Christmas and hope to return soon!

Five year anniversary trip

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property and the location is perfect. Just close enough to Monarch, but just far enough away. The view is amazing. The owners of the house are very accommodating and everything is just like it is described.

Really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. We could not get enough of the morning sunshine glow from the Chalk Cliffs outside the main living room windows. Wow. The home is perfectly situated for this view.

Amazing home!

We loved our stay. The owners gave amazing directions to get to the home in case we lost reception and once we arrived everything was perfect for our stay. Check-in and check-out was super smooth. The kitchen is well stocked in kitchen supplies and everything you could need to spend days in this beautiful location. Lots of games and places to relax throughout the home. Close to town and the views were amazing!

Amazing!

This beautiful home is in a gorgeous location with views that go on forever. We have been made welcome there for the last four or five years and look forward to each year. The area has a multitude of hiking & riding trails for everyone. You can begin your day with coffee on the deck & end it there with cocktails. The view is breathtaking!

Warm, inviting, beautiful home with spectacular views!

This home is even more inviting, warm and beautifully situated than the pictures show. Communication with the host was flawless. Directions were easy to find. The accommodations were perfect. The kitchen was well stocked and the nicest I have ever stayed in for selection of cooking ware. The bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. The bathroom in the master suite has a gorgeous view of the mountains. The location is close to Bueno Vista. Easy access to trails, restaurants, white water rafting on the Arkansas River. But the biggest treat is the views from the porch overlooking Mount Princeton and Chalk Cliffs. It was a perfect location and we hope to visit again soon- and would not consider staying any where else!

Even more amazing in person

This was our second stay in this beautiful home. The view from the deck is absolutely breathtaking. The owners are very responsive though we didn’t need to contact them but once because the property is perfectly created for guests. We LOVE the location, the house, the hiking, the views, the town. Just a wonderful family vacation.

Came for a short stay celebrating a birthday. Kids came, May snow came (17” total over the weekend). We weren’t planning on snow, but still made the best of it. Still enjoyed sight-seeing and the BV area (disc golfing, actual golfing, indoor wall climbing, shopping, cool restaurants) We will visit again as this has quickly become a favorite place for us.

Place is described perfectly. It as a wonderful central point for our day motorcycles trips. Would have been a little nicer if road was not graveled, but that was minor. We had 3 bucks stop by one night to feed on the grounds it was pretty cool. The cabin was just gorgeous and the owners were very responsive to our needs. All 6 of us would highly recommend staying here. Thanks, Down

Great home for extended family

The home had everything needed for a great mountain getaway. Grilled stakes and cooked Colorado corn for a dinner meal and had smores by the fire pit. We had a clear moonless night and the stars were bright. Everyone set on the patio in the mornings for coffee and the view. Excellent layout for three generations to stay together,

Jamie and I built this house in 2020 as a family get-away. Jamie, who has been building houses since 1990, has built several homes in the area. Jill is a retired school teacher. We have 4 grown children and one grandchild. We fell in love with the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful scenery of Chaffee County.
