Tiny house near Woodstock & Kaaterskill Falls
*We are taking all covid safety precautions recommended by the experts, details below
A very very small converted pool house (smaller than it appears in pictures), walking distance from groceries, cafe, restaurants, NYC bus and a few beautiful swimming holes.
1) It does not have all amenities of a full house (read description below)
2) There are two more cabins in the property(one being actively renovated)
3) Guests should have at least one review, verified account and a picture
**Covid safety - We follow all airbnb mandated safety guidelines PLUS some more !
1) Overwhelming scientific evidence shows that stale air is the biggest safety concern . We have TWO 180 CFM fans (total 360 CFM) , that are wifi controlled and that clear out the ENTIRE inside air before check in.
2) All surfaces are disinfected.
3) Guests have the option of using single use cutlery,plates, sugar, coffee etc

4) Make sure that you checkout the pictures that detail the imperfections of the house (bad paint job, 100 year old barn wood as vanity, home depot deliveries in the parking lot, construction wood pile etc )
5)Everything about this house is small, like really small (I recommend utubing tiny house and off grid living to familiarize yourself with this concept) . (15 ft by 15 ft size, 12 ft overall heigh, 6'2" living and kitchen, 4' high loft, 32 inch showe, small fridge etc)
6) It is not a isolated gateway in the woods. Its in a small rural hamlet, You may hear/see people/cars on the street, fire/ambulance sirens, front yeard, lawn mowers, construction noise etc. (still way quieter than the city)
7) If bikes are available, you will be able to explore quite a few attractions on them
8) Most water efficient toilet on the market ( 1 GPM)
9) Water saving shower and faucets
10) Hot heater - off grid style on demand heater. When the shower is on, hot water is NOT available in other faucets.
***very important** At some point, when , freezing weather starts (Oct-Nov) we might switch to hot water conservation mode. That will mean only 7 gallons of hot water the little tank heats up again. (My guests have reported on average 5 to 10 mins of shower time)**
11) Tiny low energy solar compatible fridge (4 liter)
12) Please read the house rules too.. TLDr-- Keep the noise inside after 10 PM,Fire only in the fire pit, ABSOLUTELY NO PETS, Turn on kitchen exhaust while cooking (very hard to get rid of fish / curry smell because of small space)
13) Typical wifi speed - Enough for 9 concurrent high quality streams.
