Time to relax and play. Our spacious home with open floor plan provides ample room for entertaining. There is room to gather along with plenty of nooks for private contemplation. Relax on the oversized L shaped sofa by the 2 story New England mosaic fieldstone fireplace and let the 11’ wall of windows bring nature in. Cook up a storm in our well equipped kitchen with large eat in kitchen island. Grill on the oversized deck while stargazing and exploring Pennsylvania wildlife. There is a well stocked lower level game room for children of all ages.
Explore the Poconos with all the amenities. Masthope Mountain Community has a lake and a river park, down hill skiing, cross country skiing, horse back riding, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, fishing and hiking. Perfect for extended family getaway

Nicely situated. Large enough for a big group to enjoy comfortably. Downstairs play rooms was perfect for a bad weather weekend. House was stocked with most everything and had a lovely welcome baskets with lots of extras. Will definitely stay again.

Family Vacation

Beautiful area, house was well kept, clean, beautiful inside with a great deck and backyard area. Kitchen was state of the art, everything we could have wanted. Great for handicapped access and accessibility. Will come back again!

Peaceful Mountain Home

Lovely home in the Masthope area. So many thoughtful extras made our stay very relaxing. We loved watching the deer, playing in the game room, and connecting with family around the large dinner table. Great hosts.

“The Big Chill” but no one died!

It was a reunion of friends who grew up together because one friend’s son got married at Woodloch Pines! We had such a good time and there was plenty of room for us all with our spouses. Unfortunately, it rained so we were unable to use the fire pit but it didn’t dampen our experience. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises!

Great Family Getaway

We had a wonderful week! The house was beautiful and very well kept. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook for a group of 12. Any questions we had were quickly answered by text. Hiked 5 waterfalls in the area, kayaked, played mini golf, enjoyed the wildlife, and had a fire in the backyard almost every evening. It was a great week to unplug, relax, and reconnect with family.

Incredible experience with family!

The property was amazing! It was large and spacious so that I could accommodate my fairly big extended family on a wonderful vacation! The amenities and accessibility made it possible for me to enjoy memories that I never thought I would see again. Every member of my family spoke of how clean and gorgeous the house was, and I said thanks; however, I assured the real credit for this house went to the owners who made it all possible. Thank you for letting us stay at this marvelous home!

Amazing

Everything was perfect except the weather. We had a welcome basket with games, blankets, tumbler, toiletries etc. Everything was clean and well put together. We really had and awesome time. We recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely Amazing!!!

Winter Palooza

We have been coming to Masthope every winter for the past 9 years. This was our second time staying at this property. Communication with the property management was easy with quick responses. The property was clean and had all the amenities that you could want. There is plenty of seating for everyone and the basement play area with the toys is a huge bonus. Lots of room in the kitchen and the dining table was large with ample seating for our group. We definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful Poconos Getaway

Our group of 10 adults enjoyed a relaxing, comfortable vacation the heart of the Poconos. This huge home gave us plenty of elbow room. The back deck was a constant gathering place during our July vacation. Particularly enjoyed seeing deer every single day. The kitchen was spacious and well appointed. Bedrooms were excellent. With no children, we did not partake of the basement recreation area, but it looked nice. Really enjoyed the backyard fire pit. Highly recommend this rental.

Great house but no hot tub.

We gathered in Lackawaxen to celebrate our 40th year of our college graduation. The house was quite spacious and fit our large group. We were disappointed that there was no hot tub as advertised. The grill did not work either. Many of the local restaurants and amenities were closed due to it being October. We enjoyed the fire pit and the wild life- especially the deer!

Family Celebration

We chose this lovely property to celebrate our mother's 90th birthday. What a wonderful time. The house was perfect to hold ten of us with plenty of room to spread out. The spacious basement was stocked with kid's things and the large deck was great to hang out on for the adults. The kitchen was well stocked and had many spices on hand. The two coffee makers (Keruig and a 12 cup drip with plenty of cone shaped filters on hand) were great. A little off the beaten path but great for our family. Victoria was very responsive and quickly answered all our questions. Thanks for the great time.

A Week Away for the Ortiz Family

I volunteer for a non profit and lined up a family from Philadelphia to spend a week up in the Poconos for a time of a much needed respite. The family had a lot of needs, one of them being a handicap accessible home. This house provided that and so much more! When the family needed to change their arrival date last minute, the owners were so prompt in communication and allowed a quick change of dates with no added fees..what a generous and wonderful act of kindness! The family’s only request was they wanted to relax and feel rested and they achieved that and a boat load of memories! We will definitely be utilizing this home in the future!

Great Rental property for the family

Captain Bob and Loretta are very responsive hosts. The home had plenty of room for our family of 12. The children and dads loved the basement. The large deck in back was a favorite gathering space. All ages enjoyed roasting marshmallows and making s’mores at the fire pit. The hosts’ welcome basket contained all the fixings. The pool area is a couple of minutes away by car. There are water slides into one of the pools. There is a wading pool for the little ones and a splash pad. The lower pool has deck chairs and is a quieter space for adults. The 9 hole putt-putt course was host to our weeklong family tournament. The beach is within walking distance. The paddle boats and kayaks are available for use at no cost. The beach also has swings and slides. The beach is nicely groomed with white sand. If you have sensitive feet you may consider wearing a pair of water shoes. The Masthope Mountain Community is in a remote area close to the Delaware. Our family had a great summer vacation here. We will be back!

What a weekend!

Boy were we happy we chose this place. Victoria and Bob were both very accommodating and quickly helped answer all my annoying questions. Which to me is paramount. The place was clean and looked even better in person. We took full advantage of the huge deck by grilling and eating out there as well as drinking our morning coffee and feeding the deer! I loved the area and the people working in the community office were friendly as heck. The only tiny knocks, if I am being objective, is the tv's didn't really allow us to download other apps aside from Netflix. Also, the grassy areas in the community by the courts were chock full of animal feces. So it kinda ruined our plans to throw a football around. All in all I personally would love to go back and deal with such beautiful people.

Friends Summer Getaway

The house was bigger inside than we thought it would be and worked out very well for three couples and 5 children, 6-9 years of age. The house was stocked with everything needed in a kitchen and the basement was a wonderful place for the children to play. The $7 a day per person for amenities is too little for everything you get. Remember to bring chairs for the children's pool area and the beach. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to get away. The only draw back is the lack of response from the property manager. On a positive note the property owner “Captain Bob” was very responsive and wonderful to deal with. We will be back!

Beautiful Spacious House For Large Groups

Our family and friends enjoyed the stay at the house. It was nicely set up and comfortable for everyone. Kids had plenty of toys to choose from in the playroom to keep themselves occupied for hours. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Masthope.

Perfect NYC getaway!

This was the perfect getaway for me and my friends. We hiked, we plunged in the lake (yes in the fall!), we made great food in the gorgeous kitchen and relaxed in the sprawling living room and deck! We didn't get to experience the fire pit because we ran out of time! But next time for sure! I can't wait to return. Thanks Victoria for a great experience!

Staying in our spacious home allows groups of all ages to create memories of a lifetime. A basement dedicated to children from infants to teens, handicap accessibility for anyone who needs it, and a stocked kitchen and game closets for everyone to enjoy together. A hiking trail is directly across from the house and an enormous deck where everyone can gather to watch shooting stars across the night sky.
