Palmetto Dunes Condo... Minutes from the Beach

After more than two years of renting our condo, this is the first time I’m writing a response to a review. My wife and I take our responsibility of providing a great experience to our guests very seriously and have maintained a rating above a 4.8 since we’ve begun. Obviously, everyone is entitled to their opinion and we are very open to feedback as we are continually use that feedback to make improvements or changes, but after having responded to all the Warty’s texts, emails and calls, I would like to provide our point of view. Immediately after the Warty’s arrived they called me to tell me the TV was not working. I assured them that was not the case as we were the previous guests and talked them through how to switch inputs on the remote by pushing the input button. In the next call to me, they were upset because the thermostat was broken. After explaining that it is a Nest device and is controlled by touching the side of the thermostat, it worked fine. Next, I received a call telling me the dishwasher was broken. Again, I talked them through pushing the start button after closing the door and that fixed the “issue”. They did not mention the outside being unusable, the bathroom fan not working or the crockery not matching during their stay. I can attest that the crockery doesn’t completely match as we have both a matching set of dishes, glasses and silverware as well as extras of each. All the bathroom fans do work as confirmed by our next guests. As far as the outside being unusable, I am not sure what that means. We have a glass table and 4 chairs outside as well as a charcoal kettle grill, all of which are useable. The patio is surrounded by a large tree and on the other side is a golf course so it’s wooded (i.e. you routinely see deer early morning and early evening). The condo association routinely mows, blows leaves, etc outside our unit and in 2 years no one has ever mentioned it being unusable. When we are there, we typically sit outside at the table in the morning having a cup of coffee or breakfast. Finally, I have confirmed there is a blown outlet that will be replaced in the next two weeks so prior to any future rentals. All other outlets, per the guest in the unit currently, are in working order.

Jess and her family were wonderful guests and are great to communicate with. I'm very glad you enjoyed yourselves, our condo and Palmetto Dunes. We would definitely enjoy sharing it again if you come back in the future!
