We had 5 adult family members stay at the home. It was beautiful and the views were spectacular! Main home is accessible only by circular staircase so if anyone in party is elderly or disables this could be an issue , but my 75 year old dad was fine and loved the stay as well! AC units in bedroom kept everything cool for sleeping. Would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful home and location atop the mountain. Beautiful sunrises. Pool was fabulous. Unique open air living quarters with cooling breezes in the evening. Kitchen facilities were good with lots of dishes. We were met on arrival and given tour. Third bedroom suite was very nice for grandparents ( us) and gave us privacy. Wi-Fi was reliable. Outdoor grill worked great for fresh caught fish!

Memorable Stay

Beautiful house with an incredible view! We loved our week in this comfortable and spacious property. You will need a car because the area is not walkable, and driving is a bit tricky, with narrow, STEEP, and winding roads. But the effort is well worth it. Be sure to stop at a grocery store because the kitchen isn't stocked with too many staples.

Spring Vacation

AMAZING VIEWS!!! Main living area is open air- no AC but the breeze kept it comfortable. Bedrooms stayed cool with in room AC units. House is definitely "rustic" and not for everyone. We had a great time... woke up early every morning to see the sunrise from the deck and enjoyed the amazing views all day.

Location and views were beautiful. Staff we interacted with were phenomenal. Wedding venue nearby can be a problem. If the venue has a DJ it is really loud, but noise is over at 10:00 pm. Sliding glass doors and screens do not open well, or at all. Most screens need replaced or repaied.screens

Amazing Family Vacation

This was such a relaxing family trip! The view every single day and night is just incredible at this property. The place is very private and makes for a great place to go if you just want to get away from people. The staff were amazing! The toaster we had was broken (and we had just bought a ton of eggos to feed the kids) and they staff got us a new toaster right away. Same with being responsive to us wanting a late check out. I pretty much lived on the master bedroom deck - either enjoying freshly roasted Virgin Island Coffee or enjoying a nightcap. Again - that view was amazing! It is close to Magens Beach, which was great. I absolutely would stay here again in a heartbeat! (If you do decide to rent a vehicle, I do recommend an SUV or jeep. We were glad we had it, especially on this property)

BEWARE! BLARING CONSTANT NOISE… LOUD party house next door

More than EIGHT hours of LOUD music, SHOUTING and BOOMING speeches over a PA system over two nights destroyed the quiet, peaceful, romantic evenings we expected based on the listing of a secluded villa at the end of the road… we did not get what was advertised or expected , or what we paid for (this place is NOT cheap)…one night of noise and disturbance, and we were not going to even mention it … TWO nights from before dusk to 10pm was half our stay… and we could not even retreat inside and close the doors to shut out the noise… since the main house has no AC and it instantly became unbearably hot with the doors closed… we have booked dozens of villas over the years and never complained… there have been a couple of problems over the years, but always the booking agent took care of us… but not these guys… we feel their response was callous, uncaring and unprofessional… we only asked for a small discount for the spoiling of half our time spent at the house … this was a working trip … so we were out all day and returned in the evening to find the entire time from our return til we went to bed complete ruined… we could not relax on the deck and quietly chat or listen to the ocean… and we could not even hear the TV to listen to a movie or the news over the BLARING CONSTANT NOISE…. We only requested a small discount of $100 for each day that was ruined… a small fraction of the total cost of the rental… They just flat out refused to even consider any compensation whatsoever for our ruined days… I agree with them that the noise was out of their control… but their response to it is NOT…. When something happens that ruins the stay and really makes the experience not what was advertised or expected or paid for, that is unacceptable and something should be done to compensate the guests for their inconvenience and annoyance. Any high quality reputable hotel or other establishment would certainly do something to take care of their guests… They did nothing for us for the noise issue, and did not even refund the $100 they DID promise to refund us for they fact that the DISH TV was broken and did not work for the entire stay. The house was beautiful… but too risky with the house next door being a popular party/wedding reception venue…

Storybook View!!!

There is a lot to love about this home. The architecture is epic, the pool is large and deep, the A/C blows cold in the rooms, and then there is the view - 110% worth the price of admission. Our family of 4, which includes 2 teenagers, was speechless looking out at the water and surrounding islands. Truly gorgeous. The kitchen, bathrooms, living area are all open to the outdoors. It's like staying in the most upscale treehouse ever. It's so unique and adds to the island feel. Be warned: with this indoor/outdoor exposure comes more than a few bugs. As another guest mentioned the blind offer little assistance in terms of blocking out light in the AM or someone on the deck seeing in at night. I bought eye masks for each of us and even the eye-rolling teenagers used them when the sun poked through at 630AM. Slate and Sydnee were extremely helpful and answered 101 questions. They were great. They also recommended P-nut's taxi service and he IS THE BEST!! The driveway is NO JOKE.... so if you want to go out at night, I'd plan on using a taxi. All in all a fantastic stay

St Thomas Spring Break

We loved the location and layout of the property. And the view was magnificent! The house architecture was a delight, particularly in the master suit. And the proximity to Magens Bay was a true asset. We had flight delays that resulted in a late arrival. The hosts left us instructions for successfully getting into the property. Once there, we discovered that a number of the sliding glass doors could not be properly secured. For guests who enjoy the sunrise, this is a terrific property. The pool, family room, and both upper bedrooms have magnificent ocean views. For guests who enjoy sleeping in after a late night out, this is not the best option. The shades in the bedrooms are more decorative than functional. Overall, we had a lovely vacation and enjoyed the property.

This house really is ALL THAT!

This house was an absolute delight. Everywhere you look is a new sensation. As the pictures show, it is built into the side of the mountain and the view is breathtaking. The air-conditioning in the three bedrooms worked perfectly. There was always a breeze throughout the remainder of the house. The bedding and the linens were nice and plush and comfy. Patio, living room, and dining furniture was all very comfortable. We spent most of our time on the front porch/patios looking out at the water and the islands. There is a very sharp turn and a very steep hill coming up to the property, and we quickly learned to turn off our traction control and it worked much better! Communication with the property managers was stellar. I cannot think of one single negative about this place. There were six of us and we all loved every minute of our stay there.

It was very hot very but the house was awesome

Everything went smoothly I did not know the house was a sunnier and it was definitely hot some place hotter than others but overall it was a great trip

Started with the best taxi driver that was set up by the property manager. She was at the house to give us a tour as we arrived. The house had the MOST AMAZING VIEW. We had such a great relaxing stay. Grilled fish a few nights. Cold bedrooms. Just great. If you are someone how likes to go into town a lot this might be too far for daily. We tried to only go every other day. But the house was so great!!

Unique Island Getaway

Our family enjoyed our stay at Estate Peterborg. The home is so thoughtfully designed to fit in the surroundings. It was wonderful to wake up to the sunrise each morning and relax on the deck in the evening. We slept soundly to the sounds of the crashing waves in Lovenlund bay with doors/windows open for the breeze. The kitchen is well stocked with cook and serving pieces. We had everything we needed during our stay. The driveway is quite steep but parking is sufficient. The island roads are narrow and uneven but taxi service is available around the island if you prefer not to drive. You must be able to navigate stairs to access the home.

The house speaks for itself. It is as unique as the pictures suggest, plus extremely well kept. Brooke and Sydney take the experience over the top with how accommodating and punctual they are. I honestly can't think of one negative thing to say.....

Gorg views such a unique property!

We had an incredible vacation staying here. The views are stunning and we enjoyed cooking dinners as a family, playing board games, and enjoying the music that can play through the Sonos. The property with the indoor/outdoor feel of the main living space and kitchen makes you feel like you are always outside and the property is so unique. The property managers were super responsive helping us get connected w a boat charter and dinner reservations at a certain place. We had a wonderful family trip!
