The Happy Hangout has it all: Quiet setting with a fully fenced-in back yard, close to Pinehurst golf courses & the historic downtowns of Southern Pines, Pinehurst and Aberdeen.
Located near downtown Aberdeen, the Happy Hangout is close to Pinehurst (10 min), Southern Pines (10 min), Camp McKall (15 min), the Carolina Horse Park (20 min) and Fort Bragg (45 min).

The quaint 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house offers a full kitchen, an inviting living room and a great back yard with deck, patio furniture and a gas grill.

Please note: Our house is pet-friendly, the additional pet fee is $50 per stay.

Very clean and cozy cottage with a big fenced in back yard for my dog. Location is very close to Pinehurst and Southern Pines. Host very friendly and accommodating, answering questions quickly.

Great stay while visiting family in Southern Pines

The house was cozy and well appointed. Great location in Aberdeen near Southern Pines. Hostess was super responsive. We appreciate the coffee snacks and toiletries for the guests. Great place for families with or without pets. Thank you Michaela!

Cozy and comfy

It was just the two of us and the dog on this trip. This house met all our needs--yard for the dog; room for us to sit, sleep, eat breakfast, and get ready for the day. The owner was very punctual and responsive with information. We would definitely stay again.

So cute! Great for pets!

The property was everything we were looking for and more! We spent the weekend and need to bring our pets. The house is extremely clean and super cozy. The backyard is huge and fenced in. Our dogs were in heaven. Highly recommend!

Great communication with Michaela. Everything as listed.

Day of arrival we thought that we were arriving a couple hours early and I asked if we could get an early check in. Michaela texted me as soon as the house was cleaned that we could check in. Turns out we didn't need this but very pleased that the request was accomodated. The back yard is wonderful for small dogs and I love that it is kept clean.

Perfect little house and yard for a short stay.

The property was perfect for what we needed. We had a emergency funeral to attend and had to bring our dogs. This place fit the bill.

Perfect house for weekend stay

We loved this house - everything was exactly as advertised. The fenced in yard made it a great property for our dog, and the house is comfortable and well appointed. Michaela was friendly and easy to work with. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Enjoyable Stay

Needed a place to stay with our two dogs before moving into our new home. The back deck allowed us to watch the dogs chase squirrels in the big yard.

Great Weekend Stay!

This cottage is so cute, very clean, and tastefully decorated. It was very pet-friendly, with ease in entering and an inviting welcome. Location was convenient to hosts’ recommended parks and wonderful pet-friendly restaurants. Thank you. We plan to book again sooner than later!

Doggone great!

Smaller house that lived much larger than the pictures show. It was supplied with everything we could want, plus thoughtful dog accessories. The weather was chilly (snowed twice!), yet we enjoyed coffee on the deck overlooking the huge back yard space. Can't wait to come back!

Quiet respite for the holidays

My husband and I traveled to Aberdeen for a family Christmas and brought our 2 dogs. The house and yard were all they advertised...very clean comfortable house with hardwood floors and a great large fenced yard with plenty of fiesty squirrels. Lovely accommodation...we hope to visit again!

Cozy and clean

Lovely renovated older home in Aberdeen. The hangout was perfect for our short stay. Host communicated promptly. Lots of linens and extra touches like a welcome basket and cream and sugar. Another big bonus was fenced in backyard for our dog and a nice deck.

Golf outing

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of this house. We had 4 adults and our 2 bulldogs and it was perfect for us. Fenced in backyard for the dogs to enjoy. Beds were very comfortable and clean. All the amenities you need in the kitchen to cook and enjoy. Easy check-in process was a breeze. We highly suggest this property as its close to Pinehurst at a much cheaper cost.

Great Stay

We had a great time at the house. 4 guys on a golf trip, it was close to everything and had everything we needed. Michaela was a fantastic and responsive host.
