Escape to the lake!

Come enjoy being on this beautiful lake in your boat or on your jet skis or while away the day floating and swimming with friends or family in this is fully furnished 2 bedroom plus loft, with 2 full baths. The master and guest rooms have queen size memory foam mattresses, while the loft has a comfortable pullout.

This lake house comes with a private dock and is nestled in a beautiful cove. Rock Springs boat ramp is less than 1 mile away. Bring your boat! The kitchen is fully stocked, full sized washer & dryer, a smart TV and WiFi. There is a lower patio and an upper deck with gas grill and dining table. Plenty of parking available for cars and boat trailer. It is located between Tugaloo State Park and Paynes Creek Campground. Also, this home is close to downtown Hartwell and Lavonia. Well behaved pets are welcomed.

Terrific

We recognized the place as soon as we saw it. I asked the host about getting in early if possible and they were very accommodating and we got in 2 hours early. The place was very clean inside. Also not too far from town. The covered dock is always a plus and plenty of parking. If you’re looking it is definitely worth it.

Lake weekend

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway with our son and his friend, and our dog. The house was clean and stocked with all the essentials. The owners are so friendly and responsive. The covered dock is perfect for a day on the lake, and if you are a sunrise person be sure to get your coffee and walk down to watch it…perfect location for sunrise over the water.

Wonderful property & great hosts

I recently stayed at this adorable home and enjoyed the peace and serenity of the property. We have a student at Clemson and chose to get away to Lake Hartwell instead of staying in Clemson. We actually enjoyed the short 35 minute drive to and from campus and will definitely stay here again - so much nicer than staying at a hotel! The owners are on point when describing the property location, it is truly tucked away from the busy part of the lake and therefore very quiet and serene. The home was extremely clean and tastefully decorated. Perfect for a family of four, a couples weekend or girls weekend!

Take a breath and relax

What a wonderfully relaxing trip in a fantastic location! The house and property were well equipped in a very quiet area. We’re so glad we found this property and will be back. Cathy was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed . Highly recommend.

Lake house

Nice and quiet getaway for the wife and I. Boat dock on the lake. Boat ramp is a few tenths of a mile away. And it wasn’t a busy ramp. Even on 4th of July week.

Family time on the lake

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was well stocked and very clean. We brought our boat, the covered slip was great to have. Plenty of room to park our trailer, and the boat ramp was about a mile away. Our kids and dog enjoyed swimming and paddle boarding ( we brought our own paddle board) off the dock.

We have stayed at this property for a few years! Beautiful home that is well equipped with anything you may need during your stay! Owners are great to deal with! Absolutely the most beautiful views of the lake from the dock!! Will defiantly rent again!!

Nice accommodation, pleasant house.

The house was very comfortable for four people. Plenty of room to park. We had two vehicles and two boats, still had room. The dock was very nice. You do need extension cords to charge batteries. The only addition i would make to the house would be dish rags for wiping counters and table, and also curtains in the Bathroom. The weather did not cooperate very well for fishing, but still caught a good number of fish.

Another wonderful stay

My wife and I enjoyed another wonderful stay. As always, we pulled our bass boat down and spent our time out on the lake fishing. Our own private boat dock gave us a place to park our boat at night and charge the electronics. The house is fully furnished and very well kept. It is pet friendly and our black lab stays pretty relaxed in this quiet neighbor hood. And as always, Cathy goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and that your stay is perfect. When we visit this area, this is our first choice to stay.

Wedding Weekend

This property was perfect for us, and although we didn't get to spend much time there (we were there for our son's wedding weekend), we did enjoy walking down to the dock in the morning and evenings and decompressing a bit. Cathy is truly a gracious host and was excellent in responding to any questions I had before staying and during our stay. We hope we get the chance to stay again soon and highly recommend!!

Terrific Lake Getaway!

The property was exactly as advertised and the perfect size for our family of four plus pooch. There was plenty of space to spread out between the living room and outside patio. We enjoyed the convenience of proximity to the water and use of the dock for the pontoon rental. A side note, the staff at Harbor Lights Marina were great to work with and very service oriented. Our getaway to the lake to end the summer was fantastic with plenty of time spent on and in the water, a trip to downtown Greenville, as well into Hartwell, Lavonia and nearby Royston. We would definitely not think twice, if available, making a return trip to this property in the future.

Felt like home

We loved everything about the house. The dock was amazing and so convenient to have our boat docked there all week. The dock even has a plug in to charge boat batteries. It does require an extension cord, but not an issue. Cathy was so helpful and accommodating. She even offered to pick us up anything from her trip into town. We brought our 2 corgi's with us. The house is set up to be dog friendly. The deck has a gait, dog bowls are provided, and there is even a place to hang leases by the door. Location was great, very quiet and relaxing. Town is not too far away to get groceries. The house was super clean, well stocked, and had linens provided. The bed was super comfortable. The house was just a great place to stay and would highly recommend it. We loved our stay at the Octagon house and would stay there again!!!!!!!!

Octagon house

Wonderful home! We have stayed here several times and love it. No issues and the property owner is great. Very helpful and responsive. She provided a larger crockpot, salt ( which I forgot) and even called to let us know about the local fireworks. House is well stocked and clean, no bugs. Will definitely stay again
