A quaint beachfront cottage on the Gulf of Mexico! Leave your car and cares at the Marina (Eldreds or Gasparilla) as this piece of paradise is only accessible by boat or water taxi! Enjoy gorgeous sunsets every evening, shelling, or world class fishing all out your front door.

If you are looking for a quiet tropical island to relax and unplug, LGI is your dream spot! This 2 bedroom home has a king bed, queen bed, full bed, and a pull out couch to accommodate any family comfortably. Everything you need is here, just bring your swimsuit and fishing pole. Full kitchen with all cooking utensils, microwave, toaster, keurig, central air, remolded bathroom, outside shower, washer/dryer, charcoal grill ready on the bottom deck, plenty of hammocks to relax. Beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels all provided. Golf carts available to rent from the golf cart shop on the island to tour the island and go to and from the dock.

This is a bridgeless, barrier island, which GREATLY adds to the old Florida charm of a uncrowded, relaxing beach vacation! There are no paved roads or commercial establishments on the island, only miles of sandy trails and beach walks. The beautiful beach and clear water allows for swimming or beach relaxing all day, shelling, bird watching, dolphin and manatee viewing, playing with your children, but best of all-the BRILLIANT sunsets at the end of each perfect day! Our nightlife consists of giant sea turtles laying their eggs, sunset walks, or golf cart rides around the island! Come get away from the mainland madness and visit our little hidden gem at LGI!

Accommodates: 6 guest maximum! We can not exceed capacity in our island home due to the fragile septic systems.

Sorry no smoking, pets are permitted (1 dog under 50 pounds) upon owner approval and requires a $200 non refundable pet fee.

Minimum renter age is 25. Guests will be evicted if found not to meet age requirements upon check in.

LGI FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.....
*You can not drive your car to the island and the only access is via boat or water taxi. There is no vehicle ferry.
*You must park your car at the Marina, Eldreds Marina, parking is $8/day and is perfectly safe.
*The water taxi will take you directly to our lanes dock. Pirates water taxi 941-697-5777.
*All homes come with a grill. This one is a charcoal grill so please remember to bring charcoal and lighter fluid with you.
*You must bring all groceries with you-no stores are on the island.
*There are first responders on the island if needed.
*You can fish off the dock or off the beach but fishing licenses are required.
*Gold carts are NOT necessary as the island is only 2 miles long and 100-200 yards wide. They are fun to explore but not necessary. If you do use one you are not allowed to drive a golf cart on the beach.
*Turtle season is May 1st thru October. During this time no personal items, chairs, umbrellas, etc can be left in the beach.
