Cozy Cottage on Mad Beach-Fully Renovated-Walk Across Gulf Blvd to the Beach!

Update 12/31/25: Cozy Cottage has been fully renovated (again) post the 2024 hurricane flooding, and is available for booking. Take advantage of low introductory prices for the month of January! Interior photos have been updated. The heated/cooled pool is open. Please reach out and send us a message if you have any questions.

Welcome to Gulf Gardens' newly renovated Cozy Cottage! A 1-minute walk right across Gulf Blvd to the beach! Take a dip in our large heated/cooled pool or relax and enjoy the sun poolside in one of the many lounge chairs. BBQ grills are available under a shaded cabana with a picnic table for outdoor dining. Slightly less than a mile to John's Pass Village. Airports, Busch Gardens, d/t St. Pete, Tampa nightlife, are all a within a short drive. There is onsite, free parking for guests.

Cozy Cottage is efficiency-sized but comes equipped with a full-sized fridge, microwave, air fryer/toaster, portable 2-burner cooktop, as well as plates, silverware, pots and pans, and all the basic kitchen necessities. The space is fully furnished and comes with queen bed that has a highly rated foam-based mattress. The bath has a brand new full-sized shower. Storage is plentiful. Central heat and air distributes the AC evenly throughout the space. Vaulted ceilings and ample lighting make this cottage feel big! Games and books are available for rainy days. Take a dip in our heated and cooled pool!

Our cottage was recently renovated as a result of 2024 hurricane flooding with new floors, paint, cabinets, vanity, furniture, mattress, kitchen essentials, appliances, blinds, electric, TV, and amenities. Basically, EVERYTHING is new!

Please note that we have a 2-person maximum including children as there is only one queen bed. If it is discovered more than two persons are staying in the unit, the guest is subject to a fine of $250, and the host/co-host has the right to cancel the reservation with no refund given. Please note that we have a Ring camera at the front door for the safety of guests and owners. Please note that this a no smoking/no vaping/no pets condo complex.

Fantastic beach cottage

This is the perfect beach cottage. I’ve stayed here 5 or 6 times, and it’s perfect every time. The location is fantastic right across gulf Blvd to the beach, always super clean, pool is great, nothing to complain about. We always stay here when we come to the beach.

Overall we enjoyed our stay! Couple of quirks. The outlet in the bathroom was weird. We didn’t end up getting in the pool, was fairly warm but not super clean. Check in was a little annoying. We were told our code would be sent to us by 3, and we had to contact them to get our code around 3:30. But super cute and the bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft.

Lovely cottage; great location

This was our first time in Madeira Beach and we weren’t disappointed. This cottage was cute and cozy and very clean. Great communication with property owner and manager. Super location to the beach (literally across the street) and close to restaurants, John’s Pass, etc. Highly recommend! We had a great time.

I'm a Tampa Bay native, and renovated my c. 1925 Craftsman Bungalow that I have owned since 1995 in Hyde Park, S. Tampa. During this time I lived in my detached 2br/1ba garage cottage. I'm back in my house and I have rented this cottage since 2019.

After devastating hurricane flooding in September 2024, my second renovation of Cozy Cottage is complete as of December 2025, and I'm happy to welcome back guests into this cozy space across from the beach that I have owned since October 2020.

Having retired from the corporate world in August 2024, "see the world" and "collect experiences over things" are my mottos!
