Feeling unsafe

This was the first time we felt unsafe in a room at this property. The peep hole was gone from our door so you could see all the way thru the property from the door to the balcony from the outside. Extremely scary for a mother/daughter trip.

Great vacation condo unit

We enjoyed our stay at this unit. Clean, and everything was in working order. The beds were absolutely amazing and comfortable. We were impressed by the property’s pools. It was nice having a quieter one on floor 5 as well as the one on the main ground. There was two hot tubs as well.

Great experience.

Positive points: the unit is in excellent condition, the beds are very comfortable, the rooms are very spacious, the location is wonderful, quiet and has a spectacular view of the sea. Low points: the cleanliness of the unit was ok except for the mold in the shower and hair in the sink, another thing that could be improved is the amount of utensils in the kitchen such as a cutting board... Another point is the elevators, if you are unlucky enough to arrive during peak hours, you will probably have to wait at least 40 minutes to get a spot in the elevator.

1st beach trip of the season

Great beach trip celebrating my mom's 89th birthday. Condo is conveniently located and has a beautiful view from the balcony. Loved that the unit has a bath per each bedroom. Everyone had their own space.

Great Views - Amenities lacking

The views from the master and living room are great! The primary bedroom with the king bed, the closet and the bathroom are really spacious. The small, 1 queen bed room wasn't laid out very well - the tv is off to the side of the room and doesn't angle toward the bed at all. The adjoining bathroom is pretty tiny, so if you are vacationing with another couple, that is the room you get when you pull the short stick. It was unfortunate as well that the indoor pool was not working as we booked this condo for this reason. I wish they would have communicated as soon as the pool broke vs the day before our trip. There should be a more detailed list of what is and is not included - like toilet paper, trash bags and number of towels. Beach chairs would be a great addition.

Not what was expected

The view and space of the condominium is exactly as described, however the upkeep of the building and the condo itself is heavily lacking. Interior cleaning and public space cleaning lacked tremendously, if there is a breeze and you are in the pool you will smell trash, the 2 hot tubs and lazy river look dirty and not to mention the areas are dark and dingy looking. I had high hopes for this trip, but it definitely did not meet my expectation. To start, my room was not ready for an additional hour after the check in time. I asked if we can stay an hour later and was told no, but was promised a $50 credit. If you're trying to book a place where you have high expectations of cleanliness, this is not the place for you.

Great property but too many small issues

The property is great. Good location and floor plan. The pool, hot tub, and lazy River are excellent. Issues: 1. The property was not ready at 4pm even though we were told it was ready at 1 pm. The cleaning crew was still there at 4:30. 2. The property was not clean - the vacuum did not work. 3. The refrigerator had a water leak. 4. There were no parking passes in the welcome package. 5. The people next door had 4 dogs in their room. Security had to be called, including the police to resolve the issue. The night security guard was exceptional.

Clean condo

We attended a family wedding and stayed here at Bahama Sands. The condo was VERY clean, the beds were comfortable. Lots of space. Only complaint is not many kitchen appliances just basic dishes. It didn’t matter to us because we didn’t cook. The view was wonderful. Overall we were very pleased with this condo and would definitely stay again.

Truly enjoyable

Great space, well appointed and convenient to local attractions and amenities. There were only two of us but there's smoke space to accommodate six guests. I'd definitely take this unit should I return to N. Myrtle Beach.

Fabulous location and rental

This was a perfect space in a great property for 4 high school grads and their moms for our beach vacation. Loved the balcony, the beach and the pool. Beds were comfy and linens were great. Our only glitch was checking in - the code given to the exterior entrance didn't work and we arrived straight from the airport 10 minutes after the office closed. Someone let us in and we got the new code the next day when the office opened. Be sure to double check the code the day before you arrive.

Nice place

We really enjoyed the condo this last week. It was great to have three separate bathrooms for our group. However, there were a couple things we would have loved to fix. The one bathroom had an issue with the water draining so people had to wait too long between showers. The master room was really nice but we were very disappointed to see the balcony door would not open correct so we could not use it. The main balcony door in the living area worked, however it was very difficult to open for many of the adults staying with us. The kids could not open or close it on their own at all. Overall, we really liked the room and the stay was great. When we needed the front desk they helped us out. Minor inconveniences but that’s ok!
