Family Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a lovely property in a great location for our three-generational family vacation -- six adults and two children. The property is just as described, very clean and with easy bike rides to the beach club, Harbor Town and South Beach. When not at the beach, we really enjoyed the pool. I would recommend this property and hope to return.

Property was perfect… the pool was great (although water was a little warm) BUT the distance to the beach was much longer than expected with all the stuff you bring to a beach. You definitely need to rent a bike with a trailer since you aren’t able to park at the beach club unless you get there at 7:00am

Amazing property! Fit all 12 of us no problems. Ages ranging from 1 - 65! The pool was perfect for all of us. The tables in different rooms allowed us to have different games and conversations going at the same time. We all really enjoyed the property.

The house is very clean and nicely updated. Nice size rooms and great floor plan. Great location within Sea Pines. A quick bike ride to the beach, Salty Dog, and the beach club. Excellent communication with the management company. It was an easy and relaxing vacation! There were only five of us, but the home could have easily accommodated twice as many. I would recommend this home to anyone and would stay here again.

Family get away

The home was perfect for us. The pool is wonderful. The layout of the house gives everyone their own space if they want, or enough room for everyone to gather together. The kitchen has everything. We’ll be back.

A Beautiful Home further from beach than expected

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the house. Kitchen was equipped better than any home we have been in the last 20 years. It was described in VRBO as being minutes to the beach. It turned out to be around a 16 -20 min walk. Now we know why the exact minutes were not given in the description! We were surprised that it had a canal across the back of the property. The pool was great, though it was not ideal to have the pool boy come on Thursday to clear the daily droppings from the trees and wind. The last night there was a surprise when a cockroach visited us on our the bed.

We always aim to have the kitchen fully stocked, as that's one of the great benefits of staying in a vacation home. We're sorry the walk to the beach wasn't what you expected. Our listing notes that the beach access is approximately ½ mile from the home, with the leisure path located right at the end of the driveway. Walking times can vary depending on pace, though many guests choose to bike, which makes the trip even quicker. We're happy you enjoyed the pool. It is professionally serviced during each stay to help keep it in great condition. We're also sorry about the unexpected palmetto bug on your last evening. While the home is treated regularly by a professional pest control company, palmetto bugs can occasionally find their way indoors in our subtropical climate. We will also be sure to alert our pest control company. Thank you again for staying with us.

Everything went very smoothly in the rental progress. Communication was great. Location fabulous. There were a few cleaning details that need addressing. It would have been nice to receive info about the house as to what was included and suggested items we would need. A booklet about the house and info about the area would have been nice to have.

The home was beautiful and well kept with all the amenities needed to make the trip relaxing and enjoyable. With 9 people, we were very comfortable to have space and multiple areas to enjoy activities. We needed to contact to the owner on one small issue that was no fault of the owner and was quickly addressed. We all agreed that if we come back to Hilton Head that this would be a wonderful place to stay again. The only thing that would make it better is if the home were directly on the beach. It was about a half mile to beach access but easily manageable with a short walk or bike ride.

1. Master bedroom had a cockroach on the cover the last night we were there. I have been staying in Sea Pines on Hilton Head Is for 20 years and I have NEVER had a cockroach in any of the houses. This is unacceptable. I need a partial refund. 2. The bedroom that has the attached 2 double beds that are over the garage had no normal closet. There was just an old fashioned cabinet. For a price that is over 10K I would expect a normal closet. 3. There were only 4 Chase loungers by the pool and 2 ripped ones in the garage. I was not expecting damaged furniture on the property. 4. The pool was dirty when we came and the pool guy didn’t come until Thursday. I had to pay VRB0 over 800. I will be very reluctant to use your services again .

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our week in your home was so enjoyable. Our grandchildren loved the pool. Not only is it beautiful, but it's big enough for 7 year olds to really enjoy swimming and playing with teen age cousin. With two dens, we had lots of room to spread out. The chess/checker set that's inset into the coffee table in one den was the site of many a contest. Any questions we had were answered promptly and professionally by management. It was impressive to have such service. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we could need. The beach is a bit of a walk but our younger kiddos loved the pool way more than the beach. Thank you so much.
