Family adventure in Sea Pines

The house was perfect. Gorgeous view from the living room and the bedrooms. Very close to a very private beach. Our kids loved the pool. They spent so much time swimming. It was heated to the perfect temperature. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful vacation getaway for medium to large families

Great property, and responsive management. Spacious home with lots of great areas, especially loved the big pool and apron area. Super quick walk to beach and short walk or bike ride to Sea Pines beach club area.

Need more and bigger trash cans

Perfect location for adults and kids!

Loved the home and its location close to the beach! The bunk room was perfect for our 10-12yr kids and they loved the pool. The kitchen was well stocked and the additional refrigerator downstairs was perfect for drinks. The house was pretty clean; only objection was the floors need a good scrubbing… the kids’ feet were black on the bottom! Would definitely stay here again 😎

Great location & pool

We loved being able to ride our bikes to the beach. The pool was perfect. We wish the kitchen was a little larger. We had issues with the washing machine. All in all, great property for vacation.

Great location, beach very close

This house has a fantastic location. Car passes easy to get as we needed one extra. The location is private, the house was as advertised. Mattresses were very comfortable and dishes supplied plentiful. The pool was the nicest, well heated pool we've had in Hilton Head. It worked exactly as it should no issue.

Wedding trip

The property was pretty much as advertised. Great location, pool and whirlpool were fantastic. Property manager communications were excellent. We had a door lock issue that was resolved immediately. Only negative aspect of entire experience was that the couches in the main tv room were totally shot, zero seated support.

The kids and adults spent more time in the pool and jacuzzi this time than at the beach as it was a bit cooler than when we were at the same accommodation 2 years ago. Rent the bikes, take advantage of the island and the great restaurants.

The great room furniture needs help; the couches were inadequate seating for our family. There was not enough silverware for us all to dine and no serving pieces. Hall bathroom shower and toilet were very slow draining. Master toilet is dangerously low and almost impossible to use especially with no grab bars. We also used the recommended bike company and ordered nine. They arrived timely but seven were very low on air and one pedal fell off. Customer service was great but should not have been needed with proper prep before delivery.

While additional seating is limited by space, the great room does have a nearby 3-seater sofa and extra chairs placed around to help accommodate larger groups. We're happy to report that we've added more silverware to the kitchen to better support larger families. For the bathroom concerns, our maintenance team has addressed the tub drain and confirmed the hall toilet is functioning properly. Regarding the bikes, we’re sorry to hear about the issues you experienced. We work regularly with that rental company and typically receive very positive feedback, so your experience is not something we commonly hear. That said, we will absolutely share your feedback with them so they can look into the prep process and improve where needed. Great Vacation Place

This is a great vacation home. Plenty of space for the family, including our dog. The house is very nice. The dimmable lighting was a great feature as we brought my mother and was able to leave lights on for her without bright lighting. The pool and hot tub was amazing. We were there mid October and the pool and hot tub were very warm and comfortable. It was a very short walk to a beautiful beach. The ocean is visible from the deck between the houses across the street. The WiFi was good, allowing 3 of us to online game together with minimal lag. The grill was a Weber and worked great. We had a rental chair from Vay K Gear break and it was replaced the next morning. We wer very happy with this rental and are talking about renting this house again. Very happy!

Nice stay but not quite 5 star, issue with Coastal Home & Villa

Huge house that was overall clean and spacious. Super location and lovely pool & hot tub. We enjoyed our say. We had an issue with Coastal Home & Villa (the property manager) on day 1. Prior to our stay, someone forgot to plug in the code to enable us to heat the pool/hot tub. When I called the morning after our arrival (Tues 2/22), the woman that answered the phone was EXTREMELY short, dismissive and downright rude. When I nicely tried to explain what I thought was (and I was correct about) the issue, she talked over me and would not listen. Since there is a hefty fee to heat the pool/hot tub, I asked for one day comp in the fee b/c we couldn't use those for the first 24 hours, and she said no. Ultimately, they did send a property manager over who adjusted the code and they did refund us for the first night. I was taken aback by her rude and dismissive conduct. Not cool. A few other things that would make this house 5 star: 1) Current mattresses are pretty worn and uncomfortable 2) There was a regular coffee pot (that we used every day) but no coffee filters. We bought our own and left them there. 3) No hair dryers. I thought that was odd. When I emailed to ask if they had any, some were dropped off. 4) It would be nice if they had a small supply of things for cooking like tin foil, saran wrap, etc. Every other VRBO we've stayed at in other locations has had these. We cook and eat in frequently, so those would have been nice. 5) Also, a small supply of cleaning products would be nice too. We also usually find these things at other rentals. The house had pre-packaged dish and laundry detergent (but no dryer sheets) and a small container of dish soap, but nothing else. They do allow dogs, which is amazing!!, but it would be nice to have something to clean with, to wipe floors when needed, etc. As mentioned, we had a lovely stay but a few small tweaks would make this property 5 star.

We apologize if you felt that we were unwilling to initially refund you for the issue. We are committed to doing what’s right in every situation and wanted to quickly send a member of our property management team who was in the area over to assess and address the issue before making an adjustment for the inconvenience.
