Beautiful Place with an amazing host.

Rented this house for a little get away while I had some time off work , and it was everything I could ask for my accommodation needs . We booked this house and although the island had a blackout , the host made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable in their beautiful vacation rental.

Nice Stay

It was a very secure and economical place to stay with several keyed entries. The interior of the condo was redone nicely minus a broken hallway door. The kitchen had everything we needed which was so helpful. The building itself is in need of some attention. Thankfully the elevator was working with some patience. It was very interesting that there are no windows and only louvers covering windows. The airplanes were quite loud being so close to the airport but using earplugs solved that. The hostess was very responsive. There were 4 beach towels and all towels and washclothes for the 3 of us available. There were also 3 working beach chairs which were all that we needed. The pool area was very nice but we did not use it because we were so busy. All of the tenants we met were very nice as well. Overall it was a decent and comfortable stay.

Family vacation included 26 total staying all within walking distance

This property was ideally located within walking distance from other family members who were also vacationing. The restaurant (Breakfast All Day) located in the corner of the property was an excellent eatery to start our day and meeting spot with our family members as well as the restaurant across the street (Metropol)The property offered a cooler & beach chairs along with laundry pods- making our stay very comfortable. The property manager was easy to reach for better guidance on locating the lockbox, assisting with setting up tv and checking out. Although we can hear the airplanes, it did not interfere with our relaxation/sleep. Our family definitely gives this property a thumbs up!

Not the best experience.

The condo was very clean and beautiful. It is literally right next to the airport so planes taking off VERY LOUDLY every 5 minutes all day and night was not preferred. Also, due to power black outs in Puerto Rico, most of the power went out in the condo and all electronics started beeping loudly non stop. The A/C went out as well. Again, this just happens in PR at times but we found another place to stay for the week.

Great Location

The property is in a great location, just few blocks away from the beach. Property manager was very attentive and flexible with our check in and check out timings. The property was clean and the neighbors were friendly. This property is next to the airport runway and you can hear airplanes taking off through out the night. Turning on the table fan helped in blocking out the noises coming from outside. We had a clogging problem in the hall shower. Overall it was a decent stay.

Looks pretty, BUT

Here were the cons: 1. There is only 1 set of keys. That means that if you are staying with multiple people everyone needs to come AND GO at the same time. There are locks everywhere and you need keys to go in and OUT! I couldn't believe it. It was too much - either give more sets of keys or get rid of some locks. It was rediculous. 2. It looked like someone took a crappy apartment and just covered it with a bandaid of paint and new cabinets. There was a dead cockroach on the floor. Very poor cleaning job - hairs everywhere, dirt and dust everywhere. 3. There were no windows with glass, just screens - this meant that you could hear all the airplanes take off and land. HORRIBLE. 4. We didn't have water on our last night in our entire apartment. 5. The two elevators were....SCARY. Very slow, very scary. 6. The apartment smelled like smoke for at least 24 hours after we arrived. 7. We never could figure out how to use the TV and no directions were provided. 8. The 2nd shower had such little pressure that we couldn't shower in it. When i requested it be fixed, there was a long discussion about how they cannot control the water pressure for the building. BS. They came and fixed it so that I could BARELY shower in it. Totally unpleasant. 9. Many of the lights either didn't turn on or the bulbs were out. 10. The pool area, although big, had 0 comfortable seats - all stone seating and nothing to recline on. Pros: 1. they provided 4 beach towels and some beach chairs. Unfortunately, they were broken or uncomfortable. 2. location - we were a nice walk away from the beach - but this is NOT beach front. 3. security - i guess with so many locks everywhere, we basically felt safe? 4. The AC worked pretty well once we figured out how to use it. Again, no written directions anywhere in the apartment. 5. Internet worked fine.

Review

The place was very nice and clean, less than a 2 minute walk to the beach. check in was very easy. Short drive to down town san juan. very close to the air port so sometimes the noise from the plans landing and taking off was loud, but would book again.

everything i expected and more

The unit has everything you will need to enjoy your vacation from utilities to beach chairs, to utensils for the kitchen, regular and beach towels , convenient location to any beach in the are, restaurants grocery stores etc.... i can keep going, however, i pray they stay in business for a long time because every time i come i will love to stay here...

Great stay

Awesome location, place as pictured, close to the beach, property owner very attentive. At check out elevator was broken but neighbors happy to help us get bags and trash down the stairs. All around great place.

It was good but be ready for the sounds of planes taken off all night but because it's close to everything and the price and the Place was great you can do it the host also was great will answer any questions

Beautiful Condo - Location not so great

The Condo was beautiful. Perfect for my family of 3. The kitchen was fully stock. And your beach needs were plentiful. The only downside was the constant airplane noise. If they could pick up the Condo and move it to a quieter location, we would definitely book again.

We enjoyed our recent stay in the condo at the Villas Cristobal in Carolina. The condo unit was very cute and clean, with modern furnishings. Bed was super comfy and the air conditioner worked well. We didn't cook but the kitchen was updated and had everything you could need to prepare meals. The laundry unit came in handy-we were able to take all clothes home clean. There were plenty of towels and beach supplies like chairs and an ice chest. Overall, a very well-equipped condo!! As my daughter said, "Everything that could be controlled by the owner was fantastic!" On the downside, the noise from the nearby (like right next to us!) airport was substantial! If you are bothered by noise, then you would have a terrible time sleeping here. It goes on all day and night (although less at late night) with planes taking off and landing. It literally sounds as loud as when you are in the plane--maybe louder because the plane has some noise reduction. Not the condo--no glass in windows (just shutters) makes it so very loud. There's no point sitting on the balcony as you couldn't hear anyone talk there with the noise. The building itself has a very sketchy elevator--we were a little afraid of it but it did work ok. Since the unit is on the 7th floor, the stairs are not an option. The bathroom was super tiny--no room to actually get ready for the day in there. But the master bedroom has an amazing closet and there's a large mirror to use in there. Lastly, the neighborhood seemed safe to us but our rental car was stolen from the street on our second-to-last night there. The police were great and all the neighbors were super nice with one guy even offering to drive us anywhere we needed to go. The car was found later that day about 30 miles away, but we lost an entire day of vacation dealing with the police, rental agency, and insurance before the car was located. Unfortunately, this meant no shopping in old San Juan and no tour of El Morro for us. It was a huge bummer. On the bright side, the police did say that it was an extremely rare case to have a car stolen in that neighborhood and they were very surprised. The owner was definitely easy to communicate with by text or phone--she responded immediately to any questions I had. I think the condo matches the pictures and it's just a few blocks to the beach (really just at the end of the street). Despite the theft, the neighborhood did seem very nice and was super convenient.

Excellent Host!!

The property was footsteps from the beach! Uber was able to take us to all attractions and excursions! Home was clean and everything you needed including beach chairs was available! The host even provided a 21st birthday surprise for my daughter (wine)!!!

Great experience. The place was very nice and the location was perfect

We really enjoyed our experience. The only issue was the elevator but other than that I would recommend this place to friends and family. If I come back to PR again I would stay there.

Such a great experience. The place had everything you needed and more. There were extra towels a cooler and plenty of water in the fridge. We will definitely be coming back!

My experience was really nice. The space was very clean and worked out great for me and my friends. Very modern, loved the master bedroom and I also liked that there were some essentials in the kitchen. Only downside was the super loud planes at night but if you don’t mind that, then you should have no problems. Parking is decent and there is a parking lot across the avenue at an affordable price in case you can’t find street parking.

BEST RENTAL PROPERTY

Everything is exactly how the pictures look , her communication was great ! Only problem i had during my stay was the airport , the planes flying all time of the night but i wouldnt have knew if i wasnt so lit for vacation

Would definitely book again.

Easy check in, had everything you needed , close to the beach, everything was walking distance for like food and stores. The beach was like a 5 min walk. don’t have anything negative to say! Oh and the master bedroom is amazinggg
