We had a really great time. Beautiful property close to the beach and the golf cart access was great. Decent number of restaurants and grocery close enough but be aware this sleepy little town closes up early and a lot of places close on Sundays. Great choice though. Property has everything you need and lots of space.

Spencer and Tiffany were the most amazing hosts we’ve had with a VRBO. They were quick to respond to questions and often offered suggestions for things in the area. The home was immaculate, stocked with beach accessories, large golf cart, and bikes for the whole family. All this contributed to what we believe was the best family vacation we’ve ever had…and we travel a lot to many different places. Don’t pass Emerald Shores in WindMark Beach up!

We stayed at the end of May and had a wonderful trip. The house was perfect for our group as we utilized all 5 bedrooms. The 3 bathrooms made getting ready in the morning and after a day at the beach very convenient. The house was clean and included a great starter set of soap, detergent, and trash bags. The golf cart was a great addition to the rental as it made going to and from the beach and the Windmark community very easy. The owners were very responsive to our questions and offered some great suggestions. Overall an excellent experience and we would rent again the next time we head to Port St Joe.

We had such a great stay at this home in Port St. Joe! The house truly had everything we needed, which made our trip so easy and relaxing. It was conveniently located close to the new pool, and the short walk to the beach without any stairs—was a huge plus, especially when pulling a beach wagon.If you’re looking to visit the heated pool, it’s just a quick 5–10 minute drive along the golf cart path, which was super convenient. We also loved that the house was stocked with all the beach chairs and toys we needed, so we didn’t have to bring or rent anything extra.Overall, it was the perfect setup for a stress-free beach trip, and we will definitely be coming back!

Great family time

Home was beautiful and very well maintained. Beach was very nice, the only downside was the walk to the beach, very thankful for the carts, they were a big plus. We had a great time

We are glad you had a great time at Emerald Shores Retreat. It can be a lengthy walk due to the amount of sand dunes. The good news is we have been told upon completion of the pool in Windmark North they will be adding a boardwalk. We hope this will help you want to book again with ESR!

Home Away From Home

We absolutely loved our stay at this beach house! The home was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared. The host was friendly, responsive, and always quick to answer any questions we had. It truly felt like a home away from home. We can't wait to come back!

We spent 5 nights at Emerald Shores Resort and I can not say enough positive things about the house and the host, Tiffany! From the booking process to the check-processe was flawless, easy, and quick! We had zero issues!The house was clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Tiffany has thought of every detail right down to the microfiber bath towels which I absolutely loved! The house is a great set up and had plenty of room to gather or to allow for quiet times away.Tiffany checked in with us to see if we needed anything, and of course we did not because the house is that great! Beautiful house and beautiful location. Thanks for the great stay Emerald Shores Resort! We hope to be back!!

What a great place!

We absolutely fell in love with Port St. Joe and this awesome rental. Convenient beach and pool access, great opportunity for walking and biking in the area, all with a beautiful backdrop of Windmark Beach—a beach not covered in people! The property owners were great to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed and made so many helpful recommendations for things to try in town. We will definitely be back!

Great vacation

We had a great stay! The house was well stocked, clean and big enough to fit our family. It was close to the pool and a short golf cart ride to the beach. The golf cart was a great addition and old hwy 98 was a great place to walk, run, ride bikes & golf cart. The house was a short car ride to Mexico Beach and downtown Port St. Joe, which had several great restaurants & shops. The owners were amazing to work with and so quick to respond to my questions. 10 out of 10.

Beautiful home in brand new community

The home was beautiful, beds were comfortable, and the beach was within walking distance. It is a little off the beaten path- meaning you have to drive about 15 minutes either direction to find a store or a restaurant. If you gather all your groceries on the way in though, you are set for a great vacation. Owner was very communicative and overall we had a fantastic stay.

The perfect holiday getaway!

This was our second stay at Emerald Shores Retreat and, just like the first stay, the property was in pristine condition upon arrival. We came for Friendsgiving as an alternative to the regular festivities. The off season is the perfect time to visit as there were few other families there so we pretty much had the beach and heated pool to ourselves. We visited Port St. Joe and Apalachicola for some great food and non-traditional Black Friday shopping in the local stores. The sunsets were gorgeous and the golf cart was a great benefit to travel to and from the beach. Already looking forward to our next trip this spring!
