Kona Paradise esta ubicada en la parte dur de la isla, a 45 mins de Kona.
Ofrece maravillosas vistas all oceano y puestas de sol.
La casa esta rodeada de jardines y al final de la calle, lo que garantiza silencio y privacidad.
Tiene varias playas a su alcance donde se puede bucear, nadar o hacer kayaking.
Acogedora y muy bien equipada, tiene todos los elementos para la comodidad de los viajeros.

A nice stay

Our host as very accommodating and responded to anything we needed. The daylight lower apartment is nicely set up. We could see a little view of trees and the water from the small deck with a surrounding flowering garden.We were able to make meals on the hot plate and small refrigerator provided. A microwave and coffee pot is available too. The bathroom is beautiful and the bed comfortable. It was in a neighborhood, so stores are 20 to 30 minutes away. But we appreciated the quiet and snorkling was within 15 minutes away. A nice, clean and reasonably priced place to stay.

Two octogenarians

We found Kabira and her thoughtfully furnished,clean, efficient apartment very welcoming. Truly a rural retreat and very quiet and relaxing. High up over the ocean!My need of a cane made things a bit challenging getting up a steep driveway and then steps but it was well worth the effort

The property is a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. It is not an easy place to get to after dark because the streets are very steep, narrow and dark. The hostess was very kind and helpful in suggesting activities for us. One challenge is very little water available during periods of drought (like now), so we were encouraged to conserve as much water as possible.

Lovely property, great views

Very nice apartment with nice sunset views. Clean, well maintained, reasonably well equipped and provisioned. Lots of handwritten signs laying down lots of rules. Hostess very nice. Need clearer instructions on where yonpark the car.

Nice place

Location near two step, pebble beach and other stuff south of Kona. Christine the caretaker was very nice. Perfect sunset view from the deck. Only issue was the small fridge which tended to condensate. Ice maker was good but no freezer space. No kitchen stove but hot plate worked fine.

Lovely hideaway

Out of the way, near the beach, tucked in a quiet neighborhood. If you are looking for a quiet retreat, this is your place. The owner is an artist and gardener with connections to the local healing arts community. We had a lovely stay and our host was thoughtful and kind.

Beautiful sanctuary

Peaceful and beautiful environment. Great view of the ocean, amazing flowers and greenery all around. Almost never heard traffic sounds or neighbors. Accommodations are spacious and efficient. Very comfortable bed and pillows, luxurious shower, well equipped kitchen. Kabira was available, friendly, and helpful with suggestions. Staying here was a perfect part of our Hawaiian experience.

I really enjoyed my stay! The property is in a private neighborhood with access to its own beach at the end of the road. It’s in a good location to experience the entire island by car. And, it comes with a kitchen, so that you can prepare your own food.

Stay in Kona Paradise

This is a clean and beautifully decorated property. The kitchen is well stocked and we had everything we needed. The bedroom is very comfortable with a lot of lights and windows. The linens and the towels are luxurious. There are two big towels, two brand new chairs and a cooler for the beach, which we used and liked. The property is part of a house, located on the ground floor with a separate entry facing the ocean. The house is on a steep hill with gorgeous views to the ocean. There are a lot of beautiful flowers and trees, butterflies and dragonflies. We could sense the flowers fragrance early in the morning. Real look and feel of a Paradise :-) The beach is walking distance but the streets are very steep. We walked down and it was a very good exercise. We also drove down once and the parking was not a problem. The beach is very nice. Please note that it is covered with pebbles (true to its name), so you would need water shoes. Actually there is a need of water shoes on most beaches in Big Island. There are trails on the left and right side of the beach. The one on the right leads to another small beach as far as we went. This is a safe neighborhood. We stayed for a week and had a great time browsing the island. Thank you Kabria for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Beautiful views

A beautiful location on a very steep hill leading down to the ocean. The apartment was not luxurious but clean and simply furnished with everything we needed, including chairs and snorkels for the beach. The housekeeper was very friendly and helpful.

Good location for exploring South Kona.

Very quiet location with ocean view. Comfortable bed in the main living space. Large bathroom. Kitchenette has mini fridge and 2 burner hot plate we utilized the ice chest provided and bought cheap ice at the nearest gas station to the north. Good base for exploring South Kona. Nearby snorkeling at Ho’okena, 2 step, etc. Snorkeling at Pebble Beach in Kona Paradise is excellent.

It is beautiful but be prepared

This property has some challenges. Roads are narrow, winding, and completely dark. The kitchen and bathroom are well appointed and even nicer than the pictures show but we wish there was better personal storage for guests rather than simply a closet with open shelves. We were there 3 nights and never felt we could unpack. We were disappointed that the upper deck, which is billed as a shared common space, had a broken lamp and personal effects of the very kind, charming, helpful, person staying there. Be there for the sunsets and just chill in the space. It is beautiful. Overall, we liked it but advise guests to plan and adapt.

Winter Escape

Lovely apartment in a quiet neighborhood, close to the beach. Everything about the apartment is chosen with care. The bed is very comfortable. Less than 30 minutes to grocery stores, shops and a great laundromat. Our host was very helpful, and gave us many great tips about places to go, where to shop, etc. Highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet, comfortable getaway.

Quiet Slice of Paradise

We loved the beauty, peace, and quiet of this property. The carefully kept gardens and tranquil spots were so calming. Close to beaches and attractions, but away from the crowds. Kabira provided thoughtful touches such as beach gear and chairs to make our stay even more enjoyable. Very comfortable and clean. Kitchen was just right. We’d gladly return. Note: you need a car to get around.
