Alquiler temporal 'HALE GEDIMINAS' se encuentra en un exuberante entorno tropical en la soleada costa de Kona. Espectaculares puestas de sol sobre la terraza privada con vista al mar con vistas a la playa de Ili-Ili, que está a 5 minutos por coche. La unidad es tipo estudio con entrada privada, tiene una cama queen size, baño privado, cocina privada al aire libre incluye refrigerador, horno de microondas, fregadero, parrilla a gas con quemador para cocinar, la parrilla puede ser utilizada para hornear (lasaña, cazuela y cosas así )

Estamos ubicados en el centro de todas las atracciones secundarios Kona, entre Kailua Kona y el Parque Nacional Volcán. Muy cerca se encuentran Pu'uhonua O Honaunau Parque Histórico Nacional y famosos "dos pasos" para practicar snorkeling arrecife; Kealakekua bahía Submarino Coral Reef State Park, lugar histórico donde el capitán Cook navegó por primera vez en Hawaii; y cerca Hookena Beach Park, también es ideal para nadar y bucear y delfines viendo.

We had a great stay! What a sweet place with it's own beautifully landscaped jungle and an incredible view. Augusta and Daiva have everything you need for the beach, towels, and snorkeling gear, beach chairs, reef shoes. It also has a great little outdoor kitchen that was stocked with cooking needs and coffee. They also had great advice on what to do in the area.

The hosts were wonderful and they supplies for the beach available had the weather cooperated. The room, outdoor kitchen and garden were beautiful. You had to go around the house to the private lanai to get the ocean view but would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay!

This is a beautiful property with a very comfortable room. We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and sitting outside on the patio. The hosts are very knowledgeable and can tell you great places to check out on the island.

Another perfect stay in paradise!

We stayed at August & Daiva’s piece of paradise last year and knew we had to come back! Not only is the property absolutely gorgeous but August and Daiva are the perfect hosts. The accommodations are perfect for a couple. They really thought of everything from chairs, beach towels, coolers and ice packs to snorkeling gear! There’s nothing like sitting on the private lanai having your morning coffee or in the evening sitting on the shared lanai and watching the sunset.. absolutely gorgeous!

Relaxing in a garden paradise

The accommodations are set in a garden with flowers and birds galore. Much to explore and enjoy. The owners were very helpful with suggestions about half-day and day-trips, what beaches to check, where to eat, etc. Very restful and refreshing.

August and Daiva were incredible hosts. Extremely kind and thoughtful people that made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time exploring the island, August has created a tropical garden on the property (he has owned for decades) and his care and attention to detail are both clear. Absolutely adorable place to stay. Comfortable and clean. Loved the outdoor kitchen. Had everything we needed. Amazing views beautiful property. August and Daiva were wonderful thoughtful people. Never in your face but there if you needed them. Very knowledgeable about the area and full of great tips on good things to do. Highly recommend.

Absolute Heaven!

I can’t thank August & Daiva enough for sharing their little piece of paradise with us. They are truly amazing hosts. Everything we could possibly need and more was provided. We spent 2 weeks total in Hawaii- one on Big Island and one week on Maui. The 4 days we spent at Hale Gediminas stand out as my favorite part of the whole trip. The gardens and views are absolutely stunning. My husband and I cannot wait to return.

August and Daiva are wonderful individuals, and were very welcoming to us. While there was not a view of the ocean from the room, the plantings they have in the back made for a vwey peaceful setting. Through no one's fault, we did have a number of ants on two days (once on my CPAP machine by the bed and once on the bathroom sink), but they quickly supplied bug spray and we were able to eradicate the varmints. The one challenge that we did have was with the driveway. Many/most of the driveways in that area are steep and winding, necessitated by the terrain. We had rented a compact car but were given a small SUV. Turning the car around to exit was next to impossible, and backing down the driveway was difficult at best. The outdoor kitchen was really cool and we enjoyed using it for breakfast.

Little piece of paradise within paradise!!!

They could charge to walk their grounds and people would pay!!! It’s absolutely gorgeous. Even the driveway is picture worthy! The room is clean and spacious. I felt very safe being alone here as a solo female traveler! Thanks so much for the thoughtful touches: snorkel gear, beach towel, coolers etc!! If I’m ever back this way, I know where I’m staying! Thanks!!

Our hosts were amazingly friendly and helpful with advice about things to see, routes to take, and with other topics that made our stay delightful. Their guest quarters were large, immaculate and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. Internet access was good. The garden and view down the mountain and out to the sea were superb. We started evening and sleep with the songs of many tree frogs and awoke to the songs of birds. All 100% delightful. We are so glad that we booked our week on the big island's west side with August and Daiva.

My husband and I stayed three nights at this location. We like being away from the crowds and this is definitely away. The owners are extremely nice. We visited the South Point, Black Sand and Green Sand Beach which were not bad driving. Driving to the extreme north end took a little longer and to get into Kona it was about a 35 minute drive. The house is somewhat close to the highway. We could hear traffic on the road occasionally. Overall a nice location for individuals looking to be away from the crowds of Kona.

Quiet stay up the hill

What a great spot! Away from the crowds in Kona and such a beautiful spot. The birds chattering throughout the day/night are beautiful to listen to. The outdoor kitchen had everything needed (a good knife and storage containers!) There was fresh water for us daily (house is on rain water) which was so nice. The bed was very comfortable The hosts were gracious and kind. Letting us know all the little spots to go to. They even have snorkle gear and beach chair's for guests! The drive way is steep, as are majority of the roads in this area, and turning the car around in the driveway was tight, but not a deterent. What a great stay we had here and would for sure stay again!

Incredible ocean view!

The hosts, August and Daiva are great. They were helpful with local info, they had beach and water equipment available to use(snorkels, beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler, etc.). The property is beautiful! Landscaping and that ocean view! The room and bathroom we're good, offered privacy and had an outdoor kitchen with everything you need to be able to cook meals if you wanted. If you know anything about Hawaii, conservation is important, with water and electricity. Remember, this isn't a hotel, so be prepared for that. Only issue that my wife and I had, no television in the room. Not a big deal, but just fyi. The property is in a rural area, but there are beaches and food choices not far from there. Overall, I would definitely stay there again if we're back on the big island. Highly recommend.

Un endroit et un accueil magnifiques

La chambre et la cuisine extérieure étaient impeccables. Le balcon avant, avec la vue sur la mer, les couchers de soleil et le magnifique jardin tropical aménagé, tout était parfait. L'accueil de nos hôtes, qui nous ont renseignés sur les meilleures choses à voir et sur l'histoire des îles. Notre seul regret, n'avoir pas réservé l'endroit pour un plus long moment.

Heaven on the hill

Pictures do not do it justice! So peaceful, and welcoming. Hosts are wonderful people, and extremely helpful. August has great history and knowledge of Kona and the big island. A must stay location when in Kona.
