Second Wind Unit 19, Lot 45. Welcome to Second Wind! Designed in 1973 by Phil Bradley and Winn Scott, this home won a merit design award and still retains it's idyllic warm and cozy character. Perfect for your next getaway.

This house boasts a queen loft bedroom overlooking the living room. Downstairs off the living room, you'll find the twin bedroom on the left side. The twin bedroom has it's own access to the deck with a beautiful blue water view. Free WIFI with DVD player.

Hot tub is available for relaxing during your stay. Enjoy the ocean views and the unobstructed night sky. From the house, you can easily enjoy a walk in the woods, a short drive to the beach, or just enjoy the beautiful view from a quiet deck or the large corner window seats.



Linens are not provided in the home. .

SEA RANCH AND SONOMA COUNTY GUIDELINES
Drones are strictly prohibited in The Sea Ranch.
Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.
No outdoor amplified sound is allowed at any time day or night.

Relaxing stay

This house is beautifully located and has every amenity. The deck is gorgeous with a great hot tub. There were only 2 of us but the property is set up so that 4 people could easily enjoy privacy. Cozy home like feeling. I highly recommend this property

Rental manager had not left keys in the locked after hours box and did not respond on the emergency number they left until 3 hours after we left message. Thankfully, a very nice housekeeper who just happened to be at the office was able to get into office and get out keys. Otherwise we would have been waiting for hours after driving for seven hours to reach Sea Ranch.

Forest Relaxation with Wide Ocean Views

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I chose Second Wind because of the forest experience while having an ocean view. We invited my husband's parents who took the twin beds (that was combined for a King size bed). While we had the Queen bed that was in the loft. It does get hotter in the loft at night. The hot tub was the best out of all the different houses we've stayed at with Sea Ranch.The kitchen was pleasantly fully stocked. Just bring ground coffee or your own coffee grinder. As someone who is always cold - there was so much blankets and pillows. The views from this house was 100% worth with the window sill seating. Outside there was plenty of patio furniture with comfortable seating. 10/10 would stay here again!

It’s a great house, but my favorite game of “what would you change if this was your house” was in overdrive. For the price, I expected better. The location was perfect for our needs (my mom lives very close, we wanted young kids to be able to walk between houses on their own).

The house was nice and well equipped. The view of the ocean was fantastic! We had only two complaints....the DVD player didn't work in the living room. We had brought with us a bunch of videos to watch while there, but weren't able to. Also, the upstairs bathroom tub would not drain. We were standing in water up to our ankles when we showered! We think the drain needs not just Drano, but a snake run down it to clear it. Otherwise, everything was great!

Another Sea Ranch retreat!

This was a one week solo retreat and it was PERFECT! The house was in the best location and size for my needs. I will be going back here again. The Redwood forest hiking trails were amazing and of course spending time on all the different beaches, hiking the bluff trail was so enrichening. I love Sea Ranch and the Beach Rental folks are fantastic. I prefer using the local, smaller agencies as they are more familiar and do a great job for the renters!

Ocean view home nestled in the redwoods

Reviewer Comments: Second Wind proved to be a comfortable house in a perfect location...surrounded on three sides by redwoods with a whitewater ocean view to the southwest. The house was spacious and well equipped, with daybeds in the living room windows, three decks for enjoying the outdoors, and a well functioning hot tub. It's centrally located, only a couple minutes from hiking trails in the redwoods and along the shoreline. For summer visits, it's also sheltered from the prevailing northwest wind.

It surprised us that we had white-water views from the Second Wind and yet were high enough to be out of the wind most of the time. We saw whales everyday and a rainbow on one glorious morning! We would rent Second Wind again!

Perfect combo of forest and sea, simply ideal

Reviewer Comments: This home has stunning oceanviews from up high, yet tucked next to soaring redwoods, on a small cul-de-sac, and right across the street from my own home nestled further in the redwoods. Of course, I love this quiet neighborhood, it's why I live here full-time (the name shows Gualala, but that's my mailing zip). The amenities were perfect, from the big hot tub for family members to the kitchen where we could cook and meet for meals, to the wood burning fireplace, outdoor decks, washer-dryer, 2 baths, work table upstairs, and enormous glass windows for viewing the vast ocean and greenery below. Perfect size for visiting friends and family. We will definitely be renting this serene home again in the future! (note: the only reason I give it 4 starts on the condition is that the upstairs base heater did not work, and the house could use a little updating in the bedding, furniture, and general interior. However, that did not detract from the coziness and comfort of the home.)
