Not at all what we were hoping for.
When we arrived on Saturday the a/c wasn't working properly, we had hot water issues (hot water lines full of air), the ceiling fans upstairs didn't work properly and were falling apart, there were brown stains/spots all over the walls, staircase, and lampshades. We called the only contact number we were provided right away. Nobody returned our call until Monday. They did send someone out soon after to take care of the a/c and the hot water. I was able to get one of the ceiling fans working (blades about to fall off) upstairs at least above low speed so we could circulate the 76–82-degree temps upstairs throughout the first half of the week. The other upstairs bedroom fan would only hum loudly on low. The bathroom upstairs had broken tiles/grout right outside the bathtub (trip/pinch hazard). The grill is in horrible condition (caught on fire when I tried to cook on it). Cleaned it up so it was useable. The dishwasher is loose in the cabinet and is missing retaining clips for the shelves. Nobody had any desire to sit on the enclosed porch furniture (dirty). This place has been neglected and is in need of repairs. Needs a new dishwasher, ceiling fans upstairs, bathroom remodeling upstairs, living room furniture, outdoor furniture, BBQ grill, and a/c work for us to even remotely think about staying here again. This is not at all what I would consider a good place on vacation. I'm also not impressed with the level and method of communication from the owner about these problems.
