Our family had such a wonderful staycation at this bay house! The home was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. We loved the beautiful views, pool, close access to the beach, and it was the perfect spot to relax and spend time together. Would definitely come back!

Beautiful sunset home!

We had such a great stay! It’s an easy, short drive to the beach. The kids can swim while you cook dinner after a beach day, plus easy fishing off the dock. And the most beautiful sunset views from the upstairs deck! Comfortable and cozy house!

We have been renting homes in Galveston for the last 20 years. Before VRBO was around. This our familys favorite house. Great views,very clean and Hank the host is very responsive.

Great house, great location

My family and friends had a great time fishing off the dock and lounging in the hot tub. Excellent outdoor space with a fantastic view of the water. Can wait to go back

Great place!

There were a few minor issues upon arrival but Hank was quick to respond and help take care of these issues. After that our stay was perfect. Definitely one of our favorite properties in Galveston. Great location at end of canal close to bay for night fishing off pier. Thanks for everything Hank and we’ll be back!

Pretty house and nice owner!

It was a great stay. The property was nice, clean and well taken care of. I had a lot of questions for the owner and he answered all of them and kept in communication with me when I needed it. I talked to him for a minute before leaving and he was very understanding and personable. I hope I can rent from him again in the future.

Great location and property!

We recently stayed at this great property and would highly recommend to anyone who loves a VRBO consisting of all the amenities you expect with one of the best locations! Of course, if you don't love breathtaking views and sunsets then look elsewhere. Couple this with a heated pool and hot tub and even a chilly Galveston day can be a joyful experience!

Hank was responsive and kind for any needs we had. The house was clean and well thought out. Black out Shutters on windows/doors was great for little kidsTo keep them out of pool unattended and for sleep! The fishing was great! Our group caught stingray, black tips, lady fish, gaff top sail catfish, spotted trout, hardheads, sand trout, bull red drum, blue crabs, rock crabs and all kinds of other smaller fish- ribbon fish, croaker, mullet etc. would love to stay there again

Great spot on the Bay!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful bay house in Galveston. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The views from the back deck were stunning, especially at sunset, and we loved being able to fish right from the dock. We caught several fish during our stay, which made the experience even more special.The pool was a big hit for both the adults and kids—it was the perfect spot to cool off after a day in the sun. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and the open living space was perfect for gathering as a family.The location felt peaceful and private, yet still close enough to restaurants, shops, and the beach when we wanted to explore. The hosts were friendly and responsive, making the whole process smooth from start to finish.We’re already talking about booking our next trip back—it truly felt like the perfect combination of relaxation, fun, and comfort.

We had an incredible stay at this Galveston Bay rental. The highlight was easily the breathtaking sunset views, which were absolutely stunning every evening. While the kids swam in the pool, we were able to relax and soak it all in.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to prepare meals. At night, we loved watching the underwater lights to see the fish swim.The property had plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and we appreciated how well-equipped and clean everything was. It’s also conveniently located near the marina and grocery store, which made everything super easy.Hank was a fantastic host. He was quick to respond and very easy to communicate with throughout our stay.Highly recommend. This place had everything we needed for a perfect getaway.

If you love fishing!!

If you love fishing and beautiful sunsets this is the place for you!! My three teenage grandsons caught redfish, speckled trout, and flounder right off the dock. They also enjoyed fishing in the marsh with the kayaks for guest. The pool was a big hit too! Host was always available to answer any question or request!

Short Notice Unbelievable Weekend

3 lifelong empty nester couple friends had originally planned on going to 30A Florida area for this weekend and had to make other plans due to the Hurricane. My wife found this property in Galveston and it was available for the weekend. Great view from the deck with awesome views from all the common areas of the home with big windows. Hank was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay . This home will stay on our rotation going forward. 5 Star all the way around.

Beautiful Sunset Views!!

This house has an amazing location with the best sunsets! It is just west of Sea Isle which allows for fun outings to the marina for live music and karaoke but has an unobstructed view of the bay. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and getting in the hot tub and heated pool and watching the sun set every night. The house has a cozy living room with a nice TV where we were able to watch the game. Kitchen is attached to the living room which is nice to have one huge area to cook, eat and hang out! The kitchen has everything you need. Beds and linens were comfortable too. Everything is top notch!! The owner was quick to respond and very helpful for planning our stay. We loved being on the west end of the island. This was such a great getaway - we were truly able to relax and feel like we were a million miles away even though it only was an hour drive door to door!We will definitely be back!

Our Favorite Affordable Fishing Rental So Far!

We always rent canal homes a few times a year and this one was one of our favorites! There is a big difference between personally owned and a home being owned by a vacation rental company. Since this is personally owned, the house was immaculate, beds were comfortable, and it didn't feel like we were in a rusty house with the A/C half working, like we have with other VRBO homes in the area. The pool/hot tub is a huge bonus! (If you want the hot tub on, just message Hank and he will remotely turn it on for you). The area was quiet, as we stayed during the week and the home is on the west side/apart from the main area of Sea Isle. We ordered take out from West End Marina, who has a large menu. The Marina also has a stocked bait shop. The house has operable shutters so you can darken the house for the sunrise. We also witnessed a beautiful sunset! We brought our own crab trap and got about 14 blue crab and 1 stone crab. We fished the lights from the dock at night and caught a ton of fish every cast, which was fun for everyone! I made the mistake of assuming that we could use the boat lift, and if there is any type of pop-up storm (which there was and our boat sustained some damage), we're not comfortable leaving the boat in the water or tying it to the beams. My only request is if the owner can add some cleats to tie boats up.
