The big draw to this property is how overly pet friendly it is! Some say it even caters more to dogs than to people. Onsite services include FURology Paw Spa & Retreat offering dog-sitting and grooming services. We also have a great pool area and sundeck for guests to enjoy.

There is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Convient location for family fun

We really enjoyed being so close to the beach and just a short walk to the carnival rides and food . It was a quiet location for good sleep and dog friendly.

Pet Friendly and on the Beach!

We enjoyed our stay. The unit is basic but eas clean and has a well equipped kitchen. We loved the fact that it was pet friendly and it's right on the beach!

Enjoyed our stay!

Loved the location of this place! Worked great for me and my small children and Sister. Loved having access to 3 different pool areas. Also loved the close beach access! Definitely woukd stay here again and Definitely recommend!

Cute place!

If you are on the fence, book it! Had a nice little get away at a fair price for what you get. Felt secure and cozy. pools and hot tubs were a nice bonus. Beach was just steps away. only down fall to this room was that the main hotel deck is right beside your balcony.

Thanksgiving at the beach

We were so excited to find a place that allows pets. If you love dogs, this is the place to be. Furology is great. They took care of our 17 year old Maltipoo nail trim with such gentleness. Our room was clean, had a great view, near the lobby. The elevator was quick to call. There were 2 hot tubs, 1 in with a kiddie pool, and heated pool. There is a large hot tub outside on one side and pool on the other side. Access to the beach was an easy walk. We will definitely stay here again.

Second home

We’ve been coming to Ocean Park for around 7 years now. It’s like a home away from home and Crystal is the best! So glad to see her when we visit. As far as cleaning goes sometimes there’s minor things dirty like the floors but we bring things with us to fix the small things and never have an issue. It’s definitely a room we will continue to book for years to come as long as the quality lasts. You can’t beat the location it’s close to everything but not directly in the heart of it. So grateful to have found a place we enjoy with views you can’t beat

Horrible there was bugs everywhere and nobody did anything about it but change the covers I drove 15 hours to sleep with bugs couldn’t get a new room my kids was scared we stayed out the room etc

Ocean Park Resort 2024

The location of Ocean Park was ideally suited for us. It is pet friendly and located on the ground floor was Furology Paw Spa where Deb & John treated our little Frenchie like royalty. This was a big influence in our decision to stay at Ocean Park. The resort was located right on the beach and close to Market Common, Walmart Neighborhood Market (new to us) and Costco. The front desk staff were polite and cheerful as was the maintenance staff. We convey a big thank you to the maintenance manager who almost went out of hIs way to assist us with a few hiccups. Our unit was located on the 2nd floor which we found to be a bit noisy. We have already booked for next year.

Love the fact it was on the same floor as the main lobby! Easy access to take my dogs in and out for morning and evening walks instead of catching an elevator ride! Beds were comfortable. My brother stated the pull out sofa wasn’t all that comfortable, but made do with it. The bathtub had problems draining. While taking a shower, the drain backs up and you’re standing in like a foot of water!? Nice room, has everything you need. Only thing I don’t like is the hotel itself is “pet friendly” however, pets are not allowed on the grass??? They have this tiny designated area in the under garage. (Very strange!) Other than that, nice room and stay. It’s convenient and hope to stay there again next time!

It was okay

The room was dirty, I had sent pictures to the company after they sent me a text asking how the room was presented. The kitchen drawers had left over food crumbs and food stains still on utensils and within cabinets. There has been mold on the top of the ceiling bathroom and the air vent in bathroom was caked with debris. The ceiling tile the air vent was attached too was bulging as if it could fall down at any point. I always check the beds before laying my things down. Upon pulling back the covers there was human hair on the mattress along with sheets and top cover. The air conditioner was next to the bed and it was VERY old as the coils had burnt out and when air would kick on the coils would blow out onto the bedding leaving black smears on the covers. It’s not a place I would think of when going back to Myrtle.

Nice room, great staff

We had a one-bedroom with a full kitchenette on the second (main) floor, which was great because it limited how much my mother needed to use the elevator or stairs. Nice beach access, although stairs only, no ramps. Room had some wear and tear, especially behind the pullout bed, but was clean and well stocked (plates, pots, pans, silverware, etc). Staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't ask for cleaning service but were able to get fresh towels, trash pick-up, and other items like toilet paper whenever needed. Outdoor areas seemed well maintained. As a pet-friendly destination, they really need to improve their pet potty station. The current one is a small area of astroturf in the parking garage. Open air and real grass are really needed, especially during months when pets aren't allowed on the beach during the day. The hallways were hot and kind smelly at times. The "free passes" promised in the marketing were available, but required that you call a number and listen to a sales pitch to redeem. I was on hold for nearly a half hour when I called, so plan ahead if you want those. In the end, though, it did allow our whole party to visit a nearby water park for free, as promised.

Wonderful

The room was great. Loved the view, the beach access and pool access. Elevators little slow and one broke down while there but they had it fixed the same day and thankfully we were on the main level/2nd floor and we could take the stairs down to the pool and parking garage.
