The big draw to this property is how overly pet friendly it is! Some say it even caters more to dogs than to people. Onsite services include FURology Paw Spa & Retreat offering dog-sitting and grooming services. We also have a great pool area and sundeck for guests to enjoy.

There is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Loved This Place

Brought my wife here for her birthday and we could not have been happier. Everything was perfect. Sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee and watching the sun rise over the ocean was as good as it gets. We had every supply you could possibly want in the kitchen. The water pressure in the shower was incredible and the room was immaculate. Would love to stay there again.

October Stay

We stayed for the entire month and absolutely love it here. You can take the stairs if you want. It wasn’t peak season so the elevator wasn’t tied up or slow. Outdoor pool is too cold for most but I really enjoyed it to cool down from sunbathing. Also, spent time in the outdoor hot tub. We walked our chihuahua on the beach everyday.

Nice vacation the room was not!!

There was some kind of bug in are room they just kept coming in idk how but it looked like a cockroach. Also as soon as we got there the tv was not working so we called the front desk they fixed it right away. Having a kitchen in the room was nice and they allow pets so that’s the only reason we chose this place. The bed was also broke and you could tell they just propped it Up with two by fours. Other than that our vacation was nice. O ya and they have two hot tubs and two pools witch was nice

Very disappointed

This was not our first time staying at Ocean Park Resort but it will be our last. If you are considering staying here then bring the following with you: Vacuum Mop Pinesol or whatever you mop with Household cleaner Bug spray There is no cleaning service for the length of your stay and this includes sheets and towels. You can get clean ones by taking your dirty linens and towels to the front desk and they will be nice enough to give you clean ones. Didn't even have the courtesy to bring them to you. I am not above doing any of the above but that is not what I consider a vacation.. especially while staying at a "Resort".

Awful!

Dirty, roaches, main door didn't work right, patio door wouldn't close unless jammed even after "maintenance" fixed it.. bathroom was tore up from a previous visitors dog. No compensation offered for having to leave due to IAN, even though the property is right on the beach. No offer of a different place when pictures were sent to Vacasa.

Water issues

There was water on the floor repeatedly. We went to the desk and no one ever came to our room. There was water all over the floor everyday. When we checked out I mentioned it and the desk clerk said he didn’t know anything about it. The tub drained very slowly. You were standing in 2 inches of water with just a quick shower. The room was as pictures showed it to be. The one chair should be changed out for a couch or love seat so 2 people can sit down.

The room was just as listed. Great view. The outdoor area around the property was immaculate and we enjoyed sitting on the patio by the pool. The hot tub is huge and very clean.

Spring Break

Two nights before we left a group of college students checked in and several on our floor. They didn't observe the quiet hours or the non smoking policy. The staff there took care of both issues quickly. Also we killed two roaches during our 5 nights. Overall we were happy with our stay. The building is very pet friendly and that means a lot to us.

Convenient but drab

This property is in an ideal location and has a good view of the ocean. The staff at check-in was friendly and efficient. I could tell they cleaned the room right before I arrived and the floor was still wet from being mopped. The issue is even after it was dry the floor was a little slimy as if it was mob with dirty water. The other problems were that the kitchen cabinet knobs felt a little grimy and the water did not run out of the tub so it collected while I was taking a shower. I was only there for one night so was too tired to complain because I had to leave the next morning. With some updated furnishing or maybe another color paint on the wall this could be a nice unit for a quick stay but I've stayed in nicer for the same price.

Great for price and location

I loved staying here. Had a nice little kitchen and for once the bed didn't kill my back. So for me this was the best choice I could have made. Will be back next time I'm at Myrtle.
