Is it OK to come to Maui? Yes. Today is February 19 2025 and Lahaina is showing signs of rebuilding but it can still use our support. Maui needs you. Wherever you go travel with Pono. The person next to you may have lost someone, everything or both. Keep that in mind tip well and all is progress.

Pikake A4 is a first Floor, Oceanfront, 1 bed, 1 bath, (sleeps up to 4 guests) updated in June 2023 including a BRAND NEW kitchen now with unobstructed views. We love this place and you will too.

Remodeled in June 2023 with a new kitchen with unobstructed views as you cook facing the ocean, the bedroom has a King bed and the living area has a brand new Queen sofa bed. All new living room furniture including a 70" smart tv, stainless steel appliances, beautiful tiled shower with frameless shower door and a fully equipped kitchen. In addition, provided for convenience, a umbrella, beach chairs, boogie boards, ice chest for excursions, laundry basket, and snorkel gear with great snorkeling right in front of the condo as well as up and down the coast. Frequent turtle visits and depending on season, whales!!! No A/C but ceiling fans in bed, living room and patio and the trade winds do a pretty good job too. It’s west Maui beachfront!

This ground floor, oceanfront condo is a slice of paradise with privacy in a small boutique two story building with ONLY twelve units. A beautiful not busy beach awaits you 20 feet from your patio door. Experience amazing views of the ocean, the island of Lana`i to the south and Moloka`i to the north. Spectacular sunsets and rainbows along with sea turtles, dolphins, and of course the humpback whales during winter/early spring.

Other perks of the Pikake: complimentary parking in out private parking lot, high speed internet/wifi, a coin laundry, NO resort fees, NO check-in fees, NO key fees and keyless entry.

the Pikake is located in Honokowai at 3701 Lower Honoapiilani Rd. within walking distance is a farmers market, coffee shop, numerous restaurants, bars, groceries stores and shopping.

This property is everything you need and more. We loved listening to the ocean day and night. We used all of the outdoor supplies- chairs, coolers, snorkel gear and took advantage of swimming each day right outside the lanai.My 75 yr old mother was able to get in the ocean and swim daily.The details provided ahead by Jason was super helpful so we were prepared to set up for a successful trip. We grilled out and enjoyed the views of the property and also visited many local establishments. Anything that we needed as extra was provided.(extra towels, paper, etc)An extra set of sheets for both beds would have been nice so we could change them at least once during the stay. We could have washed them, but were lazy to do so. We took advantage of the laundry facilities and found it to be helpful.There were many extra condiments on hand which was super nice. The communication with Jason throughout the stay was superb. We want to come back every year and stay! While at a lunch we leavened the history of the Pikake and how it came to get its name. It was so special meeting people out and about and sharing where we were staying and getting information about the property.Each night we noticed divers with lights and learned from a fishing shop near that lobsters come out in front of the reef at the property and are fished at night.What a gem of a property and owners who take pride in keeping it awesome and friendly to stay.

We absolutely love The Pikake and have stayed in this unit several times. Jason made our stay easy and was available and helpful. The pictures just don’t do this building or unit justice. We will be back.

Great for a small family

Perfect retreat on the water. Lots of sea turtles. Nicely stocked kitchen makes it easy to cook at home, including cooking oils, seasonings. Beach access is wonderfully convenient out your back door and kid friendly beach is less than 5min walk down the street. Plenty of beach gear, cooler, etc makes it easy to settle in.

Es war einfach traumhaft- von der ersten Kommunikation mit Jason bis zur Abreise (als uns noch ein Wal zum Abschied „gewunken“ hat). Wir haben die Lage, den Grill, den Strand, die gemütliche Wohnung komplett ausgekostet. Danke, für diese wunderschönen Tage, die wir hatten!!

Wonderful Place!

The condo is as posted, except it’s impossible to capture the beauty of the views in pictures. It is clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. There are stores, the famous Maui Fish Market, a coffee shop with a great new bakery next to it, a wonderful spa, great food carts and a few restaurants within walking distance. Whale watching from the Lanai was our favorite activity. We’ve already booked next year!!

Beachfront in Maui

Great ground level condo just steps from the beach. Comfortable beds, huge TV, beach chairs, snorkels, & boogie boards. Nice kitchen with view of the water. Private lanai. Enjoy the sound of the surf to sleep by! This place was great! Mahalo to the owner!

Lovely Place

I had a great feeling about staying here as soon as I booked, and the moment we walked in we knew it was going to be an amazing stay. The beach access & snorkeling, sunset views from the lanai, close distance to delicious food, and comfortable inside space made it hard to want to go anywhere else! There are so many things we loved about the Pikake it's hard to list them all, and the wonderful host is the cherry on top. I can't recommend it enough for a couples vacation and I will definitely be hoping to stay here again on our next trip to Maui.

Perfection

A perfect place to stay to renew, escape and watch whales and turtles!! It was clean, nicely remodeled, has everything you would ever need and within walking distance to The Farmers Market and Bad Ass Coffee. I was traveling alone and met amazing people and felt safe and the view was the best on Maui. You enjoy sunrise and sunset from inside or just take one step outside and the beach and ocean are your own backyard. Jason was amazing and on top of everything not one problem. I will be back for sure!!

Fantastic week

We really enjoyed this condo, the location of the condo is in a great spot in West Maui and the proximity to the semi private beach was spectacular. Kitchen was also recently remodeled and very well stocked. Jason was easy to deal with and made sure our stay was very enjoyable. Book it and go, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect place at the beach

We loved Jason's place! It has everything you need and very comfortable for our family of four. The location is great and the little beach steps away from the unit is perfect. We were there during the fire in Lahaina and were so sad to have to leave earlier. Communication with Jason was great and he was always super helpful during this stressful time. We'll definitely come back on our next trip to Maui.

Weekend in Maui

My husband and I decided to island hop from Oahu to Maui. I found this gem on the beach and I had to book it right away. It was perfect! The property is literally feet from the ocean with it's own beach!! It was absolutely perfect. The condo is not only super close to the beach but also walking distance to stores and other restaurants. The owners were easily accessible via phone and text which made check in and check out process easy breazy! I would definitely book this condo again!

Wish we could have stayed longer.

Visited this gem and I wish we could have stayed longer. We left our resort in Kaanapali and made a stop here for our last night in Maui. It was perfect for our little family of four. The place had all the necessary amenities and then some. Jason and Lilly were gracious hosts and communication was excellent (so important especially when traveling). The place was clean and comfortable, and the private beach is just about 20 yards from the back patio. Great place to watch the sunset, and I can l imagine how amazing it would be during whale season. Mahalo, Jason and Lilly. Until next time.

Beautiful Destination

The view is amazing. No a/c but the ocean breeze made it manageable with fans. Communication with the host was awesome. They accomodated our specific needs. Kitchen has recently been remodeled and is beautiful.

The place is perfect. One of the best vrbo type places I’ve stayed in Hawaii. I’ve never had such an amazing view/been able to walk out to a great little beach for such a great price. Thank you!

Amazing stay

We have stayed on this property before but first time in this condo and it did not disappoint. I really do feel like this is a small piece of heaven. The property only has 12 condos and you have a private sandy beach. We loved that it’s on the bottom floor which made it easy just to walk to and from the beach. The condo itself was great. There is no AC but the evenings cool down and when you open the windows it’s quite comfortable and a chance to hear the waves crashing. The kitchen is fully stocked with coffee maker, nice blender, toaster, etc. we cooked quite a bit and felt I had everything needed to cook, everything seems to be well thought out! Provided plenty of towels, snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler. 10/10 we will be looking to stay here again on our next Maui trip. Thank you Jason.

Awesome place!

Had a phenomenal experience stying at the Pikake property. The owner was awesome to work with and very communicative. The unit was close to great restaurants, beaches, coffee place, etc. It is literally steps to your own private beach. We saw turtles multiple days right at the property and beach area. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We've been coming to Maui staying at The Pikake for the past 12 years and have always wanted to be a part of The Pikake community, you will find it is a special place. We’ve been all over the island and this place is perfect and perfectly located in North-west of Maui between Lahaina and Kapalua, away from the busy resorts but close enough to walk to anything you'd need.
