The big draw to this property is how overly pet friendly it is! Some say it even caters more to dogs than to people. Onsite services include FURlogy Paw Spa & Retreat offering dog-sitting and grooming services. We also have a great pool area and sundeck for guests to enjoy.

All Oceana Resort properties are equipped with one or more rental boxes. Our guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. THINGS TO KNOW
There is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). LOVE THIS PLACE!

Nice Family Accommodations

We also had our 2 small dogs which they had a destinated area for pets. My family would definitely stay here again. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Went for the weekend

Went for the weekend with my kids for truck week. Some lady at reception was super rude about my 16 year old and 18 year old kids being the ones to turn in the keys when we checked out and questioner them like they didn't believe they had a parent with them while I was packing the car. If it is such a bug deal for only people over 21 be at the front desk then this place should specify how unkid friendly it is.

Great staff and fun times

We loved the ocean view, the pool and giant hot tub which was more like a miniature pool, and convenient location. The room was modern and clean. The balcony smelled like a dog but what can you expect at a dog friendly hotel. We had a great time and have no complaints.

My family and I stayed at this location for the first time. I had problems with the extra taxes they added to my bill. I don’t mind the state taxes but I don’t think I have to pay for – Taxes: 175.86 USD – • State - South Carolina Sales & Accommodations Tax: 94.69 USD – • State - South Carolina Capital Projects Tax: 13.53 USD – • State - South Carolina Education Capital Improveme: 13.53 USD – • State - South Carolina Local Tourism Development: 13.53 USD – • City - Myrtle Beach Accommodations Tax: 40.58 USD The outside of building was nice and the view of beach from the balcony was nice too. But the room had a leaky kitchen faucet, a running toilet, the mattress were old and we had to get our key reprogrammed about 8 times. We weren’t the only ones with this problem. They also sent a pest control guy to spray the room as a routine maintenance and by the night the Roaches came out. Thank god my wife and daughter didn’t see it. I killed them before they noticed it. We won’t be coming back nor recommend this place to anyone.

Nice view. One bed was broken in half at the base and my 49 year old daughter and my 15 year old grandson had to sleep sideways on it because they had to order a new base and they had no other available rooms. Needless to say they didn't sleep at all. On top of that the floor was filthy when we checked in and had something black all over it. Also, the freezer sounded like an airplane in your room which also made it hard to sleep and couldn't hear the ocean waves at all because of it. The wall behind the door had a piece of drywall up and screwed in which looked very tacky. The worst part was that we stayed a week and they rationed out your towels and toilet paper and trash bags. You had to first bring your towels and rags down to the lobby and then they would ask you how many you needed. One time they even counted how many we turned in, in front of us. Also, they supplied one roll of toilet paper and you had to go down and get another roll each time you ran out. Two young men and two women in a room for a week and you had to go down to the lobby each time to get one more roll. They supplied 2 rolls of paper towels (cheap ones) and when those are gone you have to buy your own. The housekeeping staff never stops to see if you need anything, you have to go to front desk each time. The view was really the only good thing about the stay. I would definitely not call this a resort at all.

Nice Stay

We enjoyed our stay here. The room had everything my family of 3 and small dog needed. They weren’t providing daily housekeeping at the time so it was a bit of extra work to collect our towels and linens daily and replace ourselves but the staff were super friendly and helpful. The amenities are top notch and the housekeeping staff were constantly working hard. The facilities were clean for an oceanfront resort. It isn’t in the most favorable portion of Myrtle beach but it was a great last minute find for us!
