JACUZZI MOON is a meticulously curated 80s dreamworld / workspace for creatives / family getaway designed by collaborative dream team, Bradley Hanan Carter and Sheva Kafai.

Located in Landers, CA on a 10 acre, solar powered, secure compound, JACUZZI MOON is a living, breathing art piece, with countless zones that inspire, recharge and receive you.

Float in our lagoon, bowl a strike at sunset, get acquainted with the piano, or soak in our jacuzzi out under the moon..welcome to our home and sanctuary.

THE JM EXPERIENCE -
As the gate closes behind you and you make your way down the long driveway, you will be greeted by our 80s ranch style house on the left and ample parking spaces on the right. Walking past our golf carts, a pathway towards the front door reveals lounging workspaces with USB + power hookups beneath our sunrise patio. Stepping into the house you’ll be greeted by a visual supernova of furnishings set atop of bowling lane flooring, repurposed from our local Yucca Bowl. Chances are if you’ve bowled there in the past few decades, you’ve already made memories on these lanes.

Take a moment to sit at our regularly tuned, 100 year old Knabe baby grand piano, or follow its commanding lines through the lounge over to the indoor/outdoor kitchen bar, complete with a 6 foot wide flip-out window. Then for those who are barista inclined.. make a drink on our espresso machine.. pick a stool, unwind and kickstart your JACUZZI MOON experience.

Once you explore the house and it’s time to choose your bedroom, you’ll notice each themed room has a TV/VCR combo to accompany a collection of our 10 favorite VHS movies for your nostalgic viewing pleasure. You’ll also notice step-out windows in both bathrooms that open gently with a crank to let the desert breeze in and continue the indoor/outdoor flow of living that is so important to us.

Bring your instruments with you and use our lounge’s Shure Vocal Master Spring reverb PA along with our JACUZZI MOON house microphones, cables and stands to get lost in a performance or late night writing session.

Watch films the way we prefer to.. and flip on our perfect condition, 1987 Sony Trinitron oak paneled television set, complete with HBO, Netflix, Hulu, Sling, or play something from your personal devices via Apple TV.

From the kitchen, step outside into our sunset patio lounge, complete with a large built-in dining booth and day nap zones. Grab a towel from our outdoor cabinet and stroll onto the white sands of JACUZZI BEACH for a refreshing soak in the shallow, (definitely no diving) lounging lagoon or enjoy a sunbathing, meditation or yoga session on the lagoon deck. The soothing sounds of the waterfall resonate around the property, as you rinse off in our cedar floored, outdoor rain shower.

Meander past our giant saguaro cacti and olive trees to the pickleball court nestled between a thousand year old, 30 ft tall Joshua tree and our recording studio / soundstage (coming summer 2021).

Next, grab a cocktail and explore our paver pathways out to the famous JACUZZI LANE for a round of bowling or head over to our outdoor seafoam pool table for a friendly wager. When nightfall comes, take another pathway 200 feet out from the house into the field, where you’ll discover the namesake of this compound.. our JACUZZI.

Enjoy a private meteor show under the pitch black night skies of Landers… it’s officially JACUZZI time under the moon.

DURING YOUR STAY -
We check-in our guests with a quick tour of the property + amenities. JM is a 10 acre compound with multiple buildings across the property. We work + live down the driveway in our creative studio. We also service the hot tub, lagoon and grounds regularly, so if you see us wave hello! Also, if you need anything, we provide our cell numbers and you can call / txt us anytime.

Lookout for our family of 5 owls named Who, What, Where, When and Why. Chances are you'll catch a glimpse of them, hear their wings flapping as they fly over you or hear their lively hoots to one another.

Enjoy our desert wildlife including rabbits, squirrels, mice, rats, lizards, a bold roadrunner named Brian, a large committee of quail often exploring and drinking from the lagoon and an American falcon we rescued named Rudy. There are 3 resident feral cats who take care of the small things for us, charming local farmyard noises, howling coyotes, summertime cicadas and old horses neighing in the distance.
