Welcome to Reel House! Inside, enjoy a private movie room with a 100" projector, arcade games, and TVs in every bedroom for endless entertainment. Step outside to a 25-ft pool (heated for a fee), 7-person jacuzzi, and traditional firepit perfect for starlit nights. Lounge on daybeds with awesome mountain views or gather on the patio and BBQ and plenty of seating. A filtered water system provides fresh drinking water. 10 minutes to Joshua Tree Park and 3 minute drive to downtown village.

After booking, you will receive a detailed guidebook outlining all the rules, and everything you need to know about the property. Below is an overview of some key guidelines:
Noise and Quiet Hours:
-This home is not intended for parties or large gatherings. If your intention is to host a party, event, or play loud music, please do not book this property. While we want guests to enjoy themselves, please remember Joshua Tree is a quiet, peaceful desert community, and to enjoy your stay respectfully :)
-Per San Bernardino County rules, loud or amplified music is strictly prohibited outdoors at all times, regardless of quiet hours being from 10pm - 7am. Noise monitors are on-site to help us stay in compliance with the city, and will automatically trigger if noise levels exceed the threshold.
***Noise complaints that remain unresolved may result in hefty city-imposed fines which will be billed to the guest***
Parking:
-A maximum of 4 cars may be parked in the driveway, including the right side. Street parking is strictly prohibited by county regulations, and we are not responsible for vehicles being ticketed or towed if instructions are not followed. Please plan accordingly.
Drinking Water:
-The kitchen faucet is equipped with a filtered water system, providing clean, safe drinking water that's also perfect for cooking. Skip the bottled water and enjoy fresh, purified water straight from the tap!
Pool:
-Heating the pool requires a significant amount of gas, so there is a $200 per night fee. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you'd like the pool heated to ensure it reaches the desired temperature of 85-90 degrees.
-Pool cleanings are scheduled for Mondays and Thursdays anywhere from 8am-3pm, pool cleaners are allowed access through the side gates.
-$50+ cleaning fee may be charged if excessive rocks or other debris are found in the pool.
Early Check-In and Late Check-Out Policy:
Requests for early check-in or late check-out must be made at least 24 hours in advance to confirm availability. Approval is not guaranteed and depends on availability.
-Early Check-In:
- From 9 AM onward: 50% of the nightly rate
- From 1:30PM onward: $50
If late check-out is not approved and check-out occurs past the standard 11AM check-out, the following fees will automatically apply:
- Late Check-Out:
- Between 11 AM and 12 PM: $50
- From 12 PM onward: 50% of the nightly rate
Pets:
-$50 per pet, per stay. Please DO NOT allow pets in the pool, spa, beds, and/or furniture. You are fully responsible for both yourself and your pets.
-Additional cleaning fees will be charged for excessive pet hairs.
***If a pet is noticed on the property without the pet fee being paid, the fee will be automatically charged.***
Fees:
-If any stains or damage occur during your stay that result in damage or stains to carpets, furniture, or other property items, you may be held responsible for the cost of deep cleaning or full replacement if restoration is not possible. We respectfully ask that you care for our home as you would your own during your stay.
-Please make sure to take all personal belongings with you upon departure, as we are not responsible for any items that go missing. If an item is left behind and found, guests will not be permitted to return to the property. Instead, it can be shipped to you for the cost of shipping plus a handling fee to cover our time.
Security:
- For the safety and security of our guests and neighbors, the exterior of the house is under 24/7 surveillance by Home Security.
Wildlife:
-We throughly clean before each visit, however, you are staying in a desert environment, which means you may encounter critters, dirt, dust, insects, and cacti. Leaving doors open can invite animals, flies, bugs, and more inside. The desert may have , sightings of snakes, ants, spiders, and coyotes. Most of our guests enjoy the experience, but please remember, you’re truly in the wild. If you encounter any creature you find concerning, we’re more than happy to arrange for its safe relocation.
