Island House is your home away from home for pure relaxation, refreshment, and rejuvenation. 
All apartments are located in 1 building only a few steps away from the beach.

This apartment is located on the ground floor facing the beach. Large panorama windows offer an amazing view of the ocean .

From sun-up to well past sundown; from glowing morning skies to saturated ocean sunsets and sparkling starry nights, Island House is your special place to let all stresses fly away. Sipping morning coffee or tea on the beach deck while drinking in views of the crystal blue waters of the Gulf….strolling along miles of pristine white sands on Manasota Key….watching playful dolphins, exotic birds and endangered turtles….basking in the sun….playing in the waves…what quiet moments and pleasant memories await!

Directly on the beach facing the Gulf of Mexico, Island House is a privately owned vacation rental of six fully furnished apartments–three upstairs and three on the ground floor. 

This is a non-smoking property. All units have full kitchens including stove, oven, full-sized refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, cookware, and utensils! A barbecue grill is available outside for all guests to share. Free wifi on property.

I love the location. You literally open the back door and you’re in the beach. Very very quiet area. If you’re looking for a party area this is not it. This is more for family couples kids communication was very easy with the host very private area. I love it, and I will definitely stay again.

Turtles!

What a great location and to our delight it was surrounded by several turtle nests. What a thrill. One was laid the night before we checked in and another overnight the night we were there. Great location and very nice place.

Beach stay

A few minor details, some handles to drawers were missing, had to turn off water during shower so we had enough hot water to take just one shower, one bedroom door handle came off and the guy who came by said he’d come back to fix everything and turn up the water heater never returned. I suggest a small tub to fit inside kitchen sink so you can just use that to wash dishes in

Couldn’t be a better beachfront location

Updated home throughout. Right on the beach. Everything was new. Still some beach debris from the hurricane around but this beach area was clean. Had beach chairs, loungers, & towels available. Grill to use as well. Good communication with prop manager. We would def return.

Island House Getaway

Our stay in this nicely decorated unit was perfect. It was very updated and there was a lot of room for moving around inside. Great view of the beach and very secluded as well. Having the water so close and doing some shark tooth hunting was fun. Many great restaurants around. Great communication with owner and some boogie board floats for the beach added to a wonderful stay. We will come back here for sure!

Had a great time! Met some really great neighbors, ate some awesome seafood at the local restaurants and just laidback and enjoyed our time on the beach. Thank you Nina, we will be back!

It was one of the best properties we have enjoyed. Just steps from water, and the sand hits your back door. Pretty quiet, special for a family or a romantic weekend.! Highly recommended.

Great Vacation Get Away

Great property located in the laid back Manasota Key area. We have stayed at this property multiple times and come back because of the amenities, including the beach and patio set up. This property is a great locations for well needed rest and relaxation.

I really loved the property. Location was nice! The host was very flexible, which is always appreciate it went on vacation. I do wish that there was Netflix or some other type of streaming for when the weather was bad. But who really needs TV when you’re on vacation!

Unit 1 Island House stay

You cannot beat the view. It was steps from the sand. The place could use some updating to make it more cozy. It also needs a tv in bedroom and get HD. I spent more time outside so it wasn’t a huge deal but it would be nice in the evenings. It was very clean and had most all of your basic needs.

One upsetting moment.

Property is very nice, I will say the door needs a dead bolt on the inside, so no one comes in while you are relaxing during the day or night. The surprise visit we had was very upsetting to us. We realize work was going on but was still upsetting to us. Besides that, everything else was wonderful. Pls put a deadbolt on door.

Wonderful location

The property was as ON the beach as you could possibly ask for. Not a ton of amenities or anything fancy within the unit but it was clean and had as much as we needed for a short stay. I would definitely return!

Great stay at the beach!

The property is steps from the beach and the unit we stayed in, unit 1, had a panoramic view of the ocean. Walk out the door and within a few feet you’re on the beach. Everything was well kept and clean. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Location

We LOVE this property! This was the second time we stayed at the Island House and we will most definitely return. The condo is clean, well appointed and is perfectly situated right on the beach. The only improvement I feel could be made would be adding hooks to hang beach towels and wet clothes. The Island House was just what we needed as a family to rest and recharge.
