Island House is your home away from home for pure relaxation, refreshment, and rejuvenation. 
All apartments are located in 1 building only a few steps away from the beach.
This apartment is upstairs ( 5 or 6 ) with a side view to the beach from the Master bedroom.

From sun-up to well past sundown; from glowing morning skies to saturated ocean sunsets and sparkling starry nights, Island House is your special place to let all stresses fly away. Sipping morning coffee or tea on the beach deck while drinking in views of the crystal blue waters of the Gulf….strolling along miles of pristine white sands on Manasota Key….watching playful dolphins, exotic birds and endangered turtles….basking in the sun….playing in the waves…what quiet moments and pleasant memories await!

Directly on the beach facing the Gulf of Mexico, Island House is a privately owned vacation rental of six fully furnished apartments–three upstairs and three on the ground floor. 

This is a non-smoking property. All units have full kitchens including stove, oven, full-sized refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker ( filter ) , dishes, cookware, and utensils! A barbecue grill is available outside for all guests to share.
Each unit has 4 beach chairs and 1 umbrella. We also provide beach towels - exchange upon request.

Very spartan: 4 mugs, 4 bowls, 3 wine glasses (for 4 person occupancy), no blankets whatsoever just thin polyester bed covers. Some coffee mugs cracked and stained at base. Tiny kitchen table. Everything pretty cheap-o. Not all pillows have actual pillow cases. Some have just bare polyester sham. No dishwasher. Couch for tv pretty uncomfortable to sit on. Low quality tv picture and no way to stream Netflix etc. Nice towels. Kitchen light is minimal: no task lights, no bulbs in microwave light over stove. Easy access via code, ample parking. Stern warnings about taking your trash & doing dishes. If you need to run the furnace it’s a bit noisy. This is not ocean view. Just ocean access. Nothing horrible but I have no clue why this is an “exceptional” rating.

We had such an amazing time right on the beach. The home was the right size for two and clean and neatly appointed. We would definitely come back next time we want to stay in Florida. When we needed to talk to manager, they answered almost immediately. Great place and great hosts.

Can't beat this Beach Experience

Had all the basics for weekend stay. The beach and shoreline was literally steps away. Awesome for shelling and shark teeth.

Perfect location

We were in for a long weekend. The accessibility to the water was key to our choice of this property, and it didn’t disappoint. The provided chairs, umbrella, and beach towels were a bonus to our air travel. The golf cart service provided by locals to restaurants and bars, was welcomed as we traveled with our elder mother. We made quick friends of the other travelers staying at the property as we had lots in common. We will be back!

Great Place & Location

This is a clean, 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment with a nice sized kitchen & a private beach. The location is great & it is easy to get on & off the island. The property manager was very responsive & helpful! We had a great stay!

Good location

Location was lovely. I don't like giving bad reviews as a business owner myself I understand how important and influential reviews can be. So I don't wish to post anything negative but rather suggest a few things. First, the furniture is wrong. Its a beach condo so i couldn't come to terms on why there were leather sofas. Additionally, they were small and uncomfortable. After a day at the beach coming back to put your feet up on a comfy couch was not an option. Also, while there were many kitchen utensils for use. I would suggest a simple one cup keurig coffe maker as traditional coffer make that needs coffee grids, filter..etc is not a good option and can be messy and bring unwanted pests. We also had to purchase a baking pan as we did not have one.. no big deal of course but this is a suggestion. There was a bin out back by the beach which i was advised contained all sorts of beach toys however, they were just thrown around and scattered which did not make it appealing to use. The property and location is perfect with restaurants, beach and park close by. I think a few tweaks here and there and the host stopping by the property once or twice a week would make a difference. I honestly wouldn't of mind a knock on the door or a call asking me if everything was ok. That being said, I would return to this property.

Great stay! The unit was exactly as described. Very clean, just enough space for our family of 4. Right on the beach and close to restaurants.
