7 B/R house (formerly a Bed & Breakfast) has been converted to whole house vacation rental. With covered outdoor kitchen, in-ground pool, hot tub, and fire pits; this is a great place to relax between hill country excursions. You will be 1 mile form a public boat ramp, 9 miles to tubing above or below the lake, 10 miles to Whitewater Amphitheater, 15-20 to Gruene, Wimberley or Blanco, 25 to Schlitterbahn, 45 to Luckenbach, 48 to Fredericksburg, an hour to Austin or San Antonio, and much more.

This was our second time to stay at the Lazy H. It is a great place for our family to relax and enjoy time together. Hosts are lovely people that are available and helpful and friendly .

The property was easy to locate and offered advance check-in. There was sufficient parking for five vehicles. The rooms were clean, and the beds provided comfort. Air conditioning functioned effectively, and multiple bathrooms were available. The kitchen was well supplied and included a gas BBQ grill, along with an outdoor sitting area for telling lies and smoking cigars. The pool and hot tubs were used and found to be in excellent condition. Thanks!

Beautiful property and great for a big group!

This was an awesome property to stay at with a big group of friends, with tons to do there and close enough to canyon lake to enjoy a boat day!

If you want to micromanage and supervise this is it!

Well first I can admit we had 2 people over 16. I didn’t book the right amount of people due to not paying attention. Owner who greeted us was very polite and mentioned he wasn’t like the VRBO commercials , he wasn’t but wife was. Wife kept saying our music was to loud. She came out twice . We lowered the volume but it wasn’t enough for her. Next day we left all day to avoid anything . She blamed neighbors which is hard to believe we are on a main st & hardly ever saw anyone. Again she texted me to keep it down. lol we know it wasn’t loud. We couldn’t hear the music from the hot tub to the pool. And that’s not a far walk. Not to mention the pool was never cleaned and the WiFi never worked after she complained about the loud noise which is kids playing in the pool. lol. The grounds were beautiful but the owner being on the property is not. I would strongly suggest to maybe not stay on the property if you’re going to allow a large family to stay.

Amazing rental.

We booked the house for a friend's party, there were 13 of us and we all had the best time! The house is set up almost like a lodge with tons of bedrooms and they had their own bathroom. It was so comfortable for everyone. The property was so pretty and felt like the hill country experience we were looking for. Rex the owner is very helpful too and he just installed a beautiful pool. Will definitely stay there again. Thanks Rex!

Nice place for big group

This is place is ideal for large groups. All bedrooms have attached baths. Host is ver responsive. We had a great experience overall!

Weekend at whitewater

Pictures do not do the lazy H justice. The property is absolutely gorgeous and the house is immaculate. I planned a weekend trip for my group of friends and it was honestly one of the best weekends ever. We went to a concert at whitewater and had a blast, zero trouble getting Ubers to and from. The house has several bedrooms, each with their own climate control and private bathrooms. The upstairs suite is spacious and cozy. We had a great time relaxing in the cold tub and hot tub. We cooked a steak dinner in the outdoor bar and kitchen area. The swings are so fun! The owners are very kind and communicative. 11/10 would recommend.

Daughters Bday get away

We had a blast. Place was just as described, loved the restrooms in each room. When there is a crowd not having to race to a restroom is always great. Hot tub, cold tub was great. Not far from the lake, we enjoyed our experience and plan on coming back for sure.

Family 50th Anniversary Getaway

Our family of 13 people really enjoyed our stay at Lazy H Lodge. Everyone loved their rooms and all the space for group and individual time. The cold tub was cold but pleasant and the hot tub was relaxing. Both were used a lot. The barn space was amazing for our anniversary celebration. The owner was easy to work with and accommodating in all our needs. We are already planning our next vacation trip back. Highly recommend for a great getaway.

Great for groups

This is a great place for a group retreat. There are many outdoor areas to socialize, all rooms have their own bathroom. Big common area inside the house. It was clean and the owners were nice.

Great Property, Excellent Hosts

Rex and Kathy were the most amazing and accommodating hosts ever!! The property was really great for our group of 11 staying there primarily for the 2024 Eclipse. Several outdoor areas (hot tub, fire pit, covered porch, outdoor cooking spots) all afforded nice areas for us to gather. Oh, and the 12 person dining table … what a great indoor spot to gather for meals. Each room had it’s own bathroom, with was a real plus. Rex and Kathy guided us to two great towns within 30 minutes of the property, and we all enjoyed our visit to Blanco and Gruene. Both towns had many food and craft stores and the folks there were very hospitable. The 5-star review really doesn’t provide enough stars to give for this property, maybe 10-stars would be more appropriate.

Ideal for Family/Large Group Gathering

Fantastic setup! We had a birthday party weekend for a family member and this home was the perfect setup for everyone. Every bedroom had a bathroom giving all family members the space they needed. The property had a beautiful wooded area surrounding the home, giving a relaxing feeling of getting out and enjoying the outdoors. The owner was in a neighboring house and very responsive! Again, Ideal for a large gathering. Thank you!

2023 Wimberley Sister/Girls trip

I can't say enough about our trip! EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! The accomodations were SPOT ON PERFECT! If you have a large group, this is the place you want.......7bed/7bath? Who does that???? And the deer? My mother was so overjoyed when we came back from the Shops in Wimberley. We counted at least 10 or more at the feeder on the property! Just a beautiful place. I promise you won't be disappointed. You can bet, we WILL return,.....Hopefully. Rex was super to work with. The deers come to feed twice daily. It's just a great place all around😁. I cant say enough about it. WE ALL LOVED IT& didn't want to leave. Loved the BIG table. It accomodated all of us playing games. Enjoy every minute, it ends too quick!
