This cozy 1200 square foot cabin in the heart of Antrim County is sure to please guests from all around the world. Enjoy the fire pit on a warm summer evening or have fun ice fishing in the winter at the DNR boat launch right across the street, easily reached on foot. This family-friendly Northern Escape is waiting for you today!

Our home is your home! Deer Point Trail is a warm, inviting space to relax with family members, enjoy the outdoors, and have a good time.

The entire cabin is available for rent and includes two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, an ample sunroom, a cozy living room, a dining room, and front and rear porches to enjoy nature's best offerings.

Peaceful Winter Retreat

This property is fantastic. I stayed for a week and relaxed in the quiet cozy surroundings. Its location is perfect. I made trips to Traverse City, Boyne Mountain, Charlevoix, and Petosky. The property is also ideal for pets, with a very large yard and plenty of room for your pups to run.

Everything about this place - cottage and land was wonderful! Super comfortable, “homey”, and amenities were outstanding. Lit the “Christmas” tree every day. Love love the fact that we could bring our dog with us. She had a great time exploring the property. The walk to the boat ramp was short which we did every day so our dog could go swimming. Went to Traverse City, Petoskey, Gaylord, and Mackinaw City as they were close by. We enjoyed Northern Michigan and can’t wait to come back to this place!

Beautiful peaceful place!

The property is so pretty. The cozy cabin was the perfect place to 'get away from it all!' It has everything you need, and then some. It is located in a great location, close for trips to Traverse City, Charlevoix and Petoskey. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely place near many northern Michigan destinations

We loved our stay at Deer Point Trails. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we and our two cocker spaniels needed for the week. Communication was good and we had no issues during the stay. We will be back!

The Cabin

Beautiful cabin, has everything you'd need to be comfy on vacation. • only negative... had cameras on the barn and in the trees, kinda felt like we were being watched 😆😬 We never met the owners, but they could see us. Strange feeling ~

Stay at house

Charged me 400 .00 extra for wife to stay two days . Driveway is not boat friendly. Hard to reach and no WiFi for 3 days.

Best rental on VBRO

I want to start by saying that between myself and my family we have rented a good amount rentals on VBRO. The owners of this property were by far the best and quickest with there response to any questions that we had. Thank you so much for that Joseph. Now let's talk about the cabin. It was the best place that we have rented. Amazing location, close to multiple cities, the yard was fantastic for my dog to run around and enjoy. The fire pit was great and wood was chopped. We have already started planning our second trip back there. What an outstanding cabin, fantastic owners and a great location. Thank you so much for such a great weekend!!

Tranquility & Peace

We have stayed at many VRBO and Airbnb properties in Northern Michigan. This one was by far the most fabulous of them all! This property is as advertised. It is a beautiful home and expansive property that is tranquil and peaceful. Its proximity to so many wonderful lakes and small towns, including Central Lake, is idea for any up-North adventure. The home is laid out well, comfortable, and has all the conveniences of home. The fact that it is pet friendly is also a plus for those travelling with their furry family. Further, the property is extremely close to a DNR boat launch, and my family and I enjoyed paddleboarding several of the Chain-O-Lakes. Joseph is a great host, and all was ready for us at the property. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Fall colors getaway!

Deer Point Trails is a wonderful property! Very comfortable, the grounds are a great bonus! Nice fire pit area and some short trails on the property for little ones. We were able to bring our dogs Bella (4lb. Yorkie) and Pepper (40lb Springer) They really loved the yard! The Host, Joseph was very accommodating and made certain we were comfortable. Overall 5 Stars!

North for 1st time

We rented this beautiful cabin for our cousins first time going north. He wanted to be able to see several locations so this was a good landing point and luckily accepted our fur babies. Thank goodness for GPS, but it was a great location to be able to see Charlevoix Traverse City Mackinac Island (City) Petoskey etc. so overall very pleased. Also enjoyed biking from Boyne City to Boyne Falls. Joseph was great in response to any questions. Will plan to stay again in the future

Beautiful Northern Escape

This cabin was great and very accommodating. It’s located on a secluded, quiet large lot just a few miles outside a small town. There is so much to do in the area. The scenery is so beautiful. We very much enjoyed our stay!
