Perfect location

Right across the street from St Pete beach. Loved the back lanai overlooking the waterway and perfect for watching the sunrises. The front door patio provides a view of the Gulf of Mexico so you can watch the sunsets. But better seen from the beach! Spacious unit, fully equipped with the exception of dish liquid. We didn’t have enough to fill the dishwasher so we washed them by hand. My only complaint about the unit is that the smaller bedroom doesn’t have a closet. I mean, it does but it’s locked. There are a couple hooks on the back of the door but I think adding a few more wall hooks would help if guests need to hang up their clothing. I would totally stay here again.

Great Stay!

The location of the property was perfect. The two-bedroom rental was just right the right size. Very clean and comfortable. The onsite staff was very accommodating, and the amenities on the property were all clean and well-maintained. Could not have asked for more.

Sunrise resorts is friendly quieter place to stay vs being right on the beach. We had a great time with a perfect location. More couple, friends, and family based in my opinion. Not a place for spring breakers. We loved our stay!

Awesome location! Nice property!

Great location! Awesome kitchen and amenities at the condo. I would just put tile instead I have carpet in the bedrooms. Super close to the beach and the pool was very nice too!!

Independence Day Weekend

Great place. Great location in the middle of everything. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go within 10 or 15 minutes. It would have been nice to have had a closet or the use of the closet in the second bedroom. Other than that the stay was great.

Close to the beach, close to restaurants, Sunrise Resort is an ideal location. The complimentary starter supplies nearly got us through the entire stay. The pool area is lovely with plenty of chairs. We had manatees visiting the dock area daily. The only slight negative was an inconvenient tub/shower door and lack of a grab bar in the master tub/shower. Also the kitchen shade was missing slats so there wasnt 100% closure/privacy. The master BR carpet could stand to be replaced. These things could not dampen our fun however. This is a great place/location. .

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Room was clean. There are chairs on both the rear balcony and the front porch. The kitchen had all of the necessities. We enjoyed the tennis/pickleball courts. The beach is a 5 minute walk. They had beach chairs and an umbrella to use. Additionally, there is a beautiful deck along the riverway. On the flip side, the 2nd bedroom was smaller than I expected. Unfortunately, the pool and hot tub were under construction the week we were there. Construction at 7am. So we were unable to use. It would have been nice to know beforehand or offered some type of discount or compensation for the letdown.

Disappointed.

I did not have the best experience with this property. When we arrived there was no lockbox instructions. Tt was difficult to get in touch with the after hours contact. There was no welcome information. The keys did not work with the lobby door. No parking decal was provided to us. Major construction occurring outside the unit awoke us at 6/7a daily. Detour to beach made the walk .5 miles each way (normally would be a great location) No notice there was construction or opportunity to cancel due to unforeseeable construction. Internet was very poor and unstable. We needed to use a hot spot to work. No one came to check speed until our 4th full day in the unit (we called on our first full day). Sliding door to patio did not close all the way. Bugs flew into condo. Door did NOT lock. Shower was dirty on arrival and we had to clean before use (covered in someone else’s hair) Carpet was dirty - spill spots and clumps of hair found in multiple areas Kitchen floor was dirty with sticky spills upon arrival The door sweep on the front door was falling off, allowing noise and potentially bugs to enter condo. Supplies in the condo were mismatched and incomplete (kitchen supplies are lacking greatly.) We contacted management during our stay to try and resolve these issues. Paul (who appears to be the owner on VRBO) does not exist. Management basically said the issues were not their fault and we should have alerted them earlier. We had no welcome letter or guidelines that we needed to report items the day of check-in (which was after hours). Day of checkout we planned to sit by the pool for a bit. There was major plumbing issues with the building and a contractor was there jack-hammering or something all morning. The location was nice and views from the patio were nice. Walking distance to many restaurants. I would have expected a small discount or notice I could cancel free of charge due to massive construction, even though I understand it is out of their control. I would have expected a waived cleaning fee since the unit was not clean upon arrival. If those things had been done, this review would be 4/5 stars, not 2/5. One start still would be removed for not having a closing/locking door and poor wifi and incomplete supplies.
