Creek Cottage is a new pool home set in private Englewood’s green
heartland, only 10 minutes to the beach.
Our home offers authentic Florida charm boasting a fully furnished 3 bed/2 bath, den and a solar heated salt water pool (extra heating is optional at a weekly cost) Capture a picturesque view of exotic Florida from your back porch or wander the back access path to the untouched Oyster Creek waterway. The south facing porch/pool area is a haven for sun-worshippers.
The kitchen is fully loaded with modern stainless steel appliances, having an open
plan with the living and dining area. The den or chill area provides a welcome retreat
to work, read, game or just relax in cottage ambience.
Security cameras are placed at the front for your safety but allows 100% privacy.
Shopping is a mere 5 minutes away with access to large supermarkets, plazas,
restaurants & bars.
Our home exudes harmony, serenity and warmth where you can frolic, relax and get
away from it all. Welcome to our Creek Cottage!

Great place for a relaxing stay

The house is very nice and set up very well! The pool was the perfect temperature the whole time, and there are plenty of pool floaties to use. The kitchen is well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay!!!

Great location

This place was a great place to rent, easy communication with owner and plenty of items at the house to make our stay comfortable and fun (pool toys, washer and dryer, even a blender for smoothies!). Only 10 minutes from the beach and less than that to Wal-mart.

Excellent property with everything needed for guests. Wonderful location near the beach, perfect size, cute pool, beautiful decor. It’s like you’re staying with family, doesn’t feel at all like a rental house! Will be back.

July vacation 2023

We have stayed in lots of vacation rentals & this one was BY FAR the cleanest & best appointed for a beach vacation. Very private & quiet setting. Everything was as advertised. We ended most days with a swim in the pool. We enjoyed our stay very much & will definitely be back.

Absolutely perfect!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! I almost hate giving such a fabulous review because I’d love to keep this gem to ourselves! Helma was prompt in answering our questions and honestly there were no issues! We will definitely stay here again and this is now our go to place anytime we visit Englewood!!

Great time!

We loved the house even the decor in every room. We spent much of our time in the pool and also cooking in the beautiful kitchen. We liked that the beach is only 10 minutes away from the house also 30 minutes away is (Boca Grande) one of the prettiest beaches. We really enjoyed our time at this beautiful home and hope to come back!

Clean, convenient, & relaxing.

My husband and I enjoyed our week stay at Helma's Cottage Creek. It was clean, convenient to stores, beaches, & decent distance to Tampa & Sarasota. Lovely, quiet home in secluded area

Helma’s home was lovely. Been coming to the area for the last seven years and this was the coolest on record. Pool heater was on but pool still much too cold. Close to the beaches and other attractions.

Fantastic home close to everything

We enjoyed our stay at Creek Cottage. It was beautifully decorated and well appointed. Great location - close to everything and a wonderfully private back garden. The salt water pool was so warm and relaxing. Great way to finish the day after the beach. The host was exceptional- very nice and responsive. Our gift blanket was such a thoughtful touch. We can’t wait to come back. Would highly recommend!!

My family and I all had different preferences for where to stay for a vacation. The boys are all fishermen who needed to be able to fish and explore. The girls all wanted a beautiful and comfortable house with a covered pool. This house had it all. The beds were comfortable the kitchen was perfect and there were plenty of towels along with a washer and dryer. I'm an early riser who would go out to the pool and watch for wildlife. I saw birds, an otter, a panther, and a racoon. The boys got to see an alligator and lizards and frogs. We all left happy.

A beautiful home away from home

We stayed at Creek Cottage in February and March,it was indeed a perfect home away from home. The moment we walked through the door,we had smiles on our faces. It is beautifully decorated, meticulously clean, and well appointed. The beds were comfortable which is very important for a long stay, comfy sofa and a good amt of TV entertainment. Helma is a gracious host we had the pleasure of meeting the family, which was a special treat. She just wanted us to be comfortable and happy and we were. There were many,many supplies at the ready,which was wonderful but not expected. It is close to everything, shopping, restaurants, etc. yet private and quiet for a lovely stay. The pool was perfect. 100% highly recommended. Thanks Helma

Remote location with good design and decor.

Helma's property is a little gem. The newer home is built in a quiet neighborhood, with excellent design, modern decor and attention to detail. The living/dining area is small, but cozy, with an open design--perfect for a couple, or a small family. The private pool was a delight to use, and includes a lanai for reading and dining. The kitchen is fully stocked for any home chef to use, and the dining area includes an intimate wine/cocktail serving area. Helma was quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. I would recommend her home for your next vacation.
