Newly Renovated Home with New Heated Pool and Spa, 3 Minute Walk to the Beach

This newly renovated home (Hakuna Matata) was just completed in December of 2020. The open concept floor plan is conducive to hosting a large family/travel group. The kitchen is truly the heart of this home with a large center island, dry bar with wine cooler and high grade professional appliances so cooking for family or hosting a holiday meal while traveling is effortless! The home features three bedrooms, an additional sleeping nook, a pullout couch, three full baths, a game/rec area, an optional heated pool and spa (see below for details), a 6' fenced in yard and pool area for privacy, 2 large balconies (one screened in and one private located off the master suite), and so much more.

**The pool/spa can be heated for an additional $50/night. Message owner directly for details.

The recreation area below contains a covered seating area, propane grill (propane included), dart board, ping pong table, cornhole boards, fenced yard, and pool area. The pool and spa lights cycle colors at night.

The main floor boasts a large open plan with a living room containing a 58" Smart TV, kitchen, dining area, sleeping nook, and a full bath. The screened in porch is located off the main floor and serves as an outdoor dining space. The pullout couch located in the living room contains a queen mattress, and the sleeping nook is equipped with a daybed that converts to the width of a king. There are plenty of family games stored in the TV console for guest use as well.

The floor above consists of the master suite, queen bedroom, and a bunk bed room with two sets of kid bunk beds, and 2 full baths. The master suite features a king bed, 58" Smart TV, sitting area, private balcony, and master bath. The master bath contains both a shower and garden tub as well as a double vanity. Another bedroom contains a queen bed, and 58" Smart TV. The bunk room contains two sets of bunk beds for kids to have their own space. Both the bunk room and queen room access the hall bathroom.

The main entrance to the home is up the side stairs through the screened in balcony. The home is equipped with a Yale lock system which will make your stay easy and convenient! You will be provided with a personal entry code prior to your arrival for an effortless check-in/out process.
For JUNE/JULY STAYS THERE IS A SATURDAY TO SATURDAY REQUIREMENT

Great vacation spot!

We had a great time on our family vacation this past week! Communication was amazing and the property owner was very helpful with any questions that we had. Some parts of the house could have been a little more clean but overall great house and great location!

New Year's Celebration

Great for a group trip!

We stayed here for a bachelorette party and it is a perfect house in a great location. Very quiet because it is about a 15 minute walk to restaurants, which we enjoyed. It is only a 5 minute walk to the beach, with all the beach gear you need provided. Marlyn is a great host and quickly fixed a small pool issue when we checked in. Highly recommend this house to any group looking for a great beach stay!

OMG PERFECT!!!

I absolutely loved my R&R birthday trip & everything about this house. Home had everything to make our stay comfortable. Pool was clean, nice and hot. Owner was responsive and an excellent host. Truly a retreat 10 out of 10.

Nice spring vacation

Nicely updated home with plenty of space for a family of 4. Our children enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Only one can be heated at a time, which took a little to figure out, but Marlyn was very responsive and adjusted as we needed. A beach umbrella was not present when we arrived but again Marlyn was very responsive and had one delivered within hours. The home was relatively clean but needed some general upkeep/coat of paint. The location was nice, an easy walk to the beach!

Well done house and pool!

Our family stayed for a week and had a great time. The house was well decorated and had all that we needed. After hours on the beach we all enjoyed taking a dip in the pool. The pool was awesome. I won’t rent another beach house with out a pool from now on. The proximity to the beach was nice and they had great beach equipment and a wagon to make the walk so easy. Had a great time. The hostess was great too

We enjoyed our stay (6adults and one toddler)! The bedrooms were upstairs with family space and Kitchen on the main level and outdoor games and beach gear on the ground/pool level. The kitchen had everything you needed plus a few extras! Property was within walking distance of the beach and downtown. Pool and hot tub were and other screened in porches created a lot of amazing outdoor space.The three bathrooms were spacious and airy.There are lots of stairs on this property and it was set up (and baby gates were included) so you could restrict toddlers. This property has been updated and is cute. Some areas could use a deep clean.I would stay here again if traveling to Tybee with a larger group!

Tybee girl's trip

The house is amazing and only about a 3 minute walk to the beach. I love that it has a pool with heated spa. It rained on us most of the weekend, but the house was so nice and cozy, so we actually enjoyed staying in. Marlyn was a very accommodating host and when we arrived, the key pad battery was low. I contacted her about it and she had someone deliver batteries to the front door within 1 hour. Great house, great host, and great weekend! grweekend!

Great Bachelorette Spot

We rented this house for a bachelorette trip and it was perfect! The rooms were spacious for adults and located steps away from beach access. I would recommend renting a golf cart to get around the island. About 30-40 minutes from Savannah depending on traffic, so it was the perfect day trip. There are a lot of ants and ant hills around the property, and they did get inside every night by the kitchen sink. Be aware as we had a girl who was allergic. Otherwise, this house and trip were a blast!

Wonderful stay

Our vacation was wonderful! The house was great! Lots of space and plenty of towels. We were grateful for the beach equipment too--very handy if you're flying and can't bring your own. The outdoor shower didn't work which was the only issue. The pool was fantastic and the hot tub which starts automatically every day is the only prompt we needed to take advantage! The beach is about a three minute walk even with littles in tow. The property manager texted back every time we reached out--super fast too. We would definitely book again.

Overall enjoyed our stay

We had some trouble the first day, when we arrived the pool was dirty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. Marlyn was great with communication and kept us up to date on when the pool guy would be there to clean it. The house was clean for the most part, but the tables still had crumbs on them and there was hair in the sink/shower drains. The pots and pans are bent and not well taken care of, so they work properly on the stove. There was also food found on some of the clean dishes. The outside games, a lounge chair, the wagon were all broken. Everything was very frustrating at first, but the house is very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Clean and plenty of space

The house is clean and an easy walk across the main road to the beach. The pool is lovely and there are lots of fun things to do in the outdoor game area.

Bachelorette weekend

This was a great house to stay for our trip. We were only 30 mins for downtown savannah and able to relax in a beautiful beach town. It was the best of both worlds!! The home was beautiful and the hot tub was great. We loves the color changing lights!

Perfect spot for a fun girls weekend

Everything about the home was super nice! Great space and the pool was perfect! We did add the pool heat as it was a bit chilly and windy during our stay and the process was super easy! Marlyn was very easy to communicate with as well! Unfortunately the swivel chairs were broken when we arrived and some stains on the furniture from past guests, but when we let Marlyn know, she let us know it was on her list to replace them! Otherwise everything was great and we had a great trip! Close to the beach and good walking distance from restaurants on Tybee! We also were able to get Uber’s into Savannah when we needed to!

Beautiful house close to everything

Had a wonderful experience with this property. The house was clean and well maintained with gorgeous upgrades. The location was great with most places just a short walk even for a 5 year old. The owner was extremely responsive and provided great service. The pool was clean and well maintained. With the addition of heat, we were able to use it into the evening even in February. I truly Cannot recommend this location highly enough. You won’t be disappointed.

Girls Getaway

This was the perfect place to stay for a girls getaway! The house was extremely clean with all the appliances and tableware needed. We did notice some markings on the wall on check in and we let the owners know. They were very quick to reply to our concern. We had a tough time getting Ubers from Tybee to Savannah but once we did it was about a 15-20 minute ride. The house is within walking distance to the beach but there is also beach parking if you want to drive. We utilized the pool/spa hot tub which was perfect for a relaxing day by the pool. Bathrooms were well stocked with toilet paper and towels/washcloths for both the beach and pool. Overall it was a great place and we would definitely book again!
