Large 5 bed/4 bath house with fence next to tennis courts in Bear Trap Dunes

Large open floor plan with separate dining room. Large screen porch and deck with fenced yard overlooking the award winning Bear Trap Dunes golf course. Located right next to the tennis courts and the Pavilion with all the amenities Bear Trap has to offer. Up to 2 dogs welcome with $300 paid pet fee. The fenced yard is a big hit with our four-legged guests. Grilling is a favorite activity on the back deck. In addition to the screen porch, deck and yard out back, you can relax on the rockers on the front porch or the upstairs balcony.

This spacious and light filled home has two bedrooms and two full baths downstairs and three bedrooms and two full baths upstairs. Sleeps 10 in beds plus there are 2 additional inflatable twin mattresses. One of the downstairs bedrooms is outfitted with a desk for covenient place for remote work or school.

Amenities passes are required for anyone over the age of 4 years and provides access to the indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, fitness center, beach shuttle, etc. Passes are good for a week and cost $65 during the summer season and $45 during the off-season.

Only 7 day Sat to Sat rentals available during the peak summer months from mid-June to the end of Aug. There is no availability for weekends or less than a 7 day rental during this time frame.

The house was perfect for our family and dog! So much lovely space indoor and outside. Enough bedrooms/beds and bathrooms for everyone. Wonderful pavilion with a great pool and a quick 10 min drive to downtown Bethany and the beaches.

We loved this staying at this house. We felt very comfortable there. The bedroom layout was great and the main sitting area was open with high ceilings. We loved sitting on the screened porch and running with our dog and granddaughter in the fenced backyard. It wasn’t a good beach week with dangerous waves from the hurricane but no worries. We were able to walk to the indoor, outdoor and kiddie pool as well as a terrific playground with swings and a slide. Everything was secure and safe. Janet was a terrific host. We had no problems at all during our stay and any questions were answered promptly. She was really quite nice. We plan to return next year.

Golfing trip

We have in the past stayed at ocean city Maryland but last year house was not good we were lucky to find Janet’s home in DE on bear trap dunes golf how lucky we were there were 5 couples the house was perfect very clean very comfortable we felt at home would definitely go back again

Beautiful stay in Bethany

The house was perfect for my family vacation. It was super spacious and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more including bikes, beach chairs, beach toys, corn hole, etc. It was in a great location with a short walk to the pavilion pool and beach shuttle pickup. Janet the host was great at communicating and made sure we had everything we needed for the stay. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect location!

It's an easy drive to Bethany Beach/boardwalk/shops. There are two tubs full of beach towels, the garage has sand toys, a beach buggy, numerous sand chairs, beach umbrellas and two ride on scooters that our grandkids loves riding. Also, bed linens are supplied for each bed along with 12 sets of towels. The house description is 100% accurate. The communication comes quickly from the owner if you need to message her. This is the second time renting her house and everyone in my family had a great time! (Ages 7-72 yrs old)

Fantastic Home in Bethany Beach

We really enjoyed our stay here! The home was clean and well stocked with supplies and things for children to do (for example, beach/pool toys, puzzles, and games). The owner was wonderful at communicating and very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. We loved the amenities passes as it gave us access to a number of activities such as a playground, pool and the shuttle service to and from the beach. This is a great community and home!

3 family vacation in Bethany

We had a wonderful multi family vacation in the spacious and well stocked home . Located centrally in Bear Trap Dunes, we were able to experience several local beaches and activities and then come "home " to a large comfortable place. Owner is very responsive, although we really had no issues to convey. Would highly recommend this rental.

Janet thought of everything to ensure guests have a comfortable stay. The house is in a primo spot and is an easy 2 minute walk to the pool pavilion area. The house is also very clean and incredibly well stocked. The linen service was excellent and the beds and furniture are comfortable. The rare fenced yard for the dog and little kids was so nice and well maintained. The screened porch to enjoy the summer nights bug-free was a huge bonus that we ended up using daily. We would definitely rent again. Highly recommend!!

We Loved This House!!

9 of us stayed at this house for a week. Ages ranged from 16 - 92! Having bed and bathrooms on the first floor was a must for us. The layout is great and we loved the screened-in porch. The house is next to the Pavilion so it couldn't have been more convenient. We ran back and forth to the pool, tennis courts and pickle ball courts like they were in our back yard. And having never played pickle ball, it was nice that we met lovely people who gave us an impromptu lesson during open play at 9:00AM. Communication with Janet was great. We will definitely consider staying here again!!

fenced in backyard for kids & dogs

The house was large enough for six adults and three children. Everyone had their own bedroom & bathroom. The kids liked the loft. House was well stocked. Puzzles, toys & lots of beach umbrellas, buggy & sand chairs. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Bear Trap and at the beach. The beach was a short/easy drive away (there's a shuttle you can take too). Everyone said hello to us. House location was perfect; the pools and tennis courts are a few steps away. Very quiet neighborhood. Our dog enjoyed playing in the fenced in backyard. Screen in porch and deck was a plus too.

Beautiful home-great communication with owner

The home is beautiful and perfectly accommodated our family and friends for my son's wedding. Janet was so accommodating with special requests and extremely fast in responding to any and all questions. Everything we needed for our stay (linens, towels, beach chairs, bikes, toys, cornhole, lots of extras we were excited to see when we arrived). The kitchen was very well equipped (thank you for that!). My son's new In-laws have a house in Bethany and if the need arises, I will be sure to contact Janet again for our stay! Thank you for a fantastic week for our son's wedding - my son and his 6 groomsmen had more than enough room to dress for the big day as well!!

Best Bethany Beach Ever!

We stayed in Janet’s beautiful home in Bear Trap Dunes and it was just perfect. We had five children 6 to 12 years of age and five adults. There was plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for everybody. Being right next to the pavilion and all of the activities was a bonus, along with the shuttle to Bethany Beach. We loved having the sidewalks to take daily walks. The fenced in backyard was great, we brought a net and played volleyball and badminton. There are also bikes, boogie boards and other extras. Janet was so easy to work with and answered every question or concern the whole entire process. We have rented other homes from Janet and it’s been the same exact thing. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us! We are hoping return soon!

fabulous property and host

We were delighted to find this house available for our week in Bethany. It met all our family needs : children, pets, fenced yard and pool access. i reached out to the host, Janet, who was so very helpful in telling us about the house and the Bear Trap Dunes club. The house exceeded our expectation in its cleanliness, charm, and the amenities provided by the Host - beach items from toys to towels to boogies boards. There were pool items, yard games and inside we had comfortable linens provided, a fully stocked kitchen, including spices, cooking stock, and everything we could need. The house had games and puzzles and children's toys. I can't speak more highly about this property. My son said that it is one of the best houses we have ever stayed in. The yard and patio and screened in porch were so nice to have and provided fun and frolic for us all! The host, Janet, was so communicative and accommodating and provided any information we asked for. I appreciate all the help she gave us. I definitely recommend you rent this property. Excellent choice.

Fall Vacation

We have been going to Bethany Beach for a family vacation. We enjoy this time of year. I’ve rented a couple of times through this VRBO owner and had a great vacation both times.

Great location

We loved this place. We come every year to Delaware with our parents and our families. This was a wonderful house. Plenty of room for our group of 12. Easy access to all the amenities and quick drive to the beach. The owners were great to deal with. They were very responsive. We definitely will stay here again!

Family Beach Week

This is a great house for families. It is clean, large, and well-stocked with linens, towels, and beach gear. The location is also as close as you can get to the great community center with a pool and fitness rooms. The beach, drug stores, ice cream, restaurants, and mini golf are all within minutes. The screened porch and fenced backyard are also great for families with kids or pets.

A Family Vacation

The house was ideal for my entire family and 2 dogs! Fenced in back yard was perfect! There were amenities like bikes, beach chairs, corn hole and more that gave it a special touch! Most rentals do not offer this items. The perfect get away for our youngest to spend time with his siblings before his next deployment! The location was convenient, quiet neighborhood right off the golf course! Lots of areas to walk the dogs! Will recommend to friends and family. Janet was lovely to coordinate with for our stay!
