The Silver Hilton on Lake Superior! With Bungalow

Enjoy a two bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home which sleeps 6 guests. Additional sleeping space for guests in the nearby bungalow (Please note that bungalow does not have running water/bathroom facilities or heat.) Nightly rates are for 6 guests. Cottage with the bungalow can sleep up to 8 guests, each additional guest rate is $20.00 per person per night.

IMPORTANT: THE BUNGALOW SPACE IS NOT AVAILABLE DURING THE COLDER MONTHS OF OCTOBER THROUGH MID-MAY.

This waterfront property has a comfortable cottage feel to it and offers easy access to the shoreline of the North Shore's prize feature...Lake Superior. Cottage house has a main suite with en-suite bathroom, an additional guest bedroom, guest bathroom,1/2 bath, living room, dining area, kitchen and laundry . Bungalow has 2 bedrooms and a living room area. Conveniently located just a few minutes from downtown Grand Marais, you'll love the proximity to shopping, restaurant/bars and local events like live music, festivals and food.

Not only does this waterfront cottage offer immediate access to the "Big Lake" just steps out the back door, but the Devil Track River is within walking distance, too. These lakeside views of Superior from sunrise to sunset are beautiful, always changing and never a disappointment.

Always a great stay on the north shore. Lovely weather, beautiful trees, great family time in a favorite place by the big lake. Owners are wonderful to work with and will respond quickly if needed.

2nd time staying here and loved it just as much as last year! The shoreline is great for relaxing and for the kids to play with the rocks. Would definitely recommend.

Having grown up on Lake Superior this lovely home was such a beautiful, restful, comfortable place to relax and recharge. We so enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again soon

The view of the lake is spectacular!

This home was a perfect place for our family vacation! The kitchen and living space are spacious and we never felt cramped with our group of 8, which included an infant with a play pen and toys. The home was very clean! We hope to stay here next time we visit beautiful Grand Marais!

Beautifully renovated house with amazing views of Lake Superior right out back. House was well appointed with supplies and the owner was very responsive. Just 3 miles from Grand Marais - wonderful!

Awesome home away from home

The house with the cabin is very comfortable for six adults. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking in and is great for relaxing by the lake. We enjoyed the location for trips to town and hiking trails. We all decided we will be back again.

It lived up to the hype

High quality option on north shore

Great property just minutes drive or bike from Grand Marais. Location, finish, and condition of property were great. Communication was also prompt.

We enjoyed our stay on the shore if Lake Superior. Gorgeous views. Well appointed home with all the amenities. Owners were great to work with. Would love to come back. Appreciated allowing dogs so we could bring our puppy with us.

Perfect northshore spot!

We loved this place. It's a beautiful spot right on the lake. Its perfect to sit outside and be able to access the water. Our boys spent hours throwing rocks and running from the waves. The house is clean and very well stocked. The casita was great for extra space. Will definitely come back a

Great Northern Jewel!

Love this place. Beautiful beach and view of the lake from the spacious living and dining room. Loved the space with the addition of the bungalow. Everything you'd expect when it comes to amenities and more. We brought our usual kitchen items, spices, etc, but would not have needed them as it was stocked. Looking forward to the next visit!

wonderful, will rent this again. that tells it all. need to work on plumbing kitchen stink- very slow when we arrived, should fabricate some screen to catch food waste better. left note for cleaning people. humidity goes up and down quickly, dehumidifier works well but it just seems odd. never have experienced that in any home I have rented on the north shore. may be linked to weather.

Location on the shore is unmatched!

The home was lovely and location in May was the perfect amount of private and quiet. Spotlessly clean. Only drawback was the noise emanating from the baseboard heat registers. No rhyme or reason for timing or length of the whine (wouldn't be an issue in warm weather) but it was nerve wracking and sleep disruptive.

Lovely shoreline property!

We stayed for three nights and would have loved to stay longer! Everything is well appointed and there are lots of lovely touches like plenty of shampoo, soap, etc. as well as books, games, every kitchen gadget we needed. The extra bunkhouse where our 17 and 21 year old kids slept was lovely too - it would be awesome to have a bathroom out there as well, but it’s close and the flashlights helped, if our kids were young and afraid of the dark that would have been an issue, lol;) All in all - awesome and I look forward to booking again!

Favorite Place

I've rented 3 places in Grand Marais and this has been the best by far. The beds were very comfortable even in the casita. There was no fighting for the bathrooms. There was a lot of space to spread out, especially with the casita. It was very much appreciated for this introvert when traveling with family. There is no bathroom in the casita, though, so make sure the people who stay there are comfortable with a short walk up the driveway in the dark if they need to go in the middle of the night. Flashlights are provided.
