Lucia’s Loft was such a great place to stay. Very comfortable and clean. Plenty of room to spread out. Great location! Your just steps away from all the cute shops and food places. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks

BEWARE- No A/C

This property was absolutely beautiful and location is amazing. It is comp upgraded, very clean, and has everything you could need to stay comfortably, including zip locks, laundry detergent, and plenty of towels. However, it does not have air conditioning, or even ample fans to circulate air. There are no fans in the living space, and only 2 of the bedrooms had an overhead fan. There was one bigger floor fan we could use, and a tiny one that didnt move much air. We were so hot and miserable. I understand northern MN doesn't usually get very hot, but it was 78-80 degrees the week we were there. We also have a daughter with asthma, and the air quality was awful due to the canada wild fires. Her chest hurt just even being outside, and we couldn't escape the smokey air because all the windows had to be open just to keep the place from being unbearably hot. I'm talking 81 degrees in the house with the windows closed. We know because we tried. Unfortunatrly this greatly affected our vacation in a negative way and we would not go back. It would be the perfect place for us had it not been for the lack of A/C. It's also not marketed as not having A/C, which I think is deceiving. I've never stayed anywhere that didnt have A/C, so it wasnt something I even though to look for. Not everyone who stays here is from norhten MN, so we don't all know that A/C isn't standard. As a business that provides lodging to people from all over the country, that should be made clear on the description.

Great space and location.

Great space for 6 adults and family dog. Location has perfect walking access to downtown shopping and dining. W/D are full size and the outdoor deck is a nice addition. Loved our stay at Lucie's Loft!

What a gem in the heart of Grand Marais! Such a beautiful apartment and so convenient to everything in Grand Marais. No driving—walk everywhere right from the building. Quiet and exceptionally clean; well cared for.

LUCIE'S LOFT was more than expected. Very clean and all the modern necessities you need for a wonderful trip. Only negative things was having to take trash to an off-site location but this will not stop me from staying here again.

Great space in a great location

Luxor’s Loft was a great location for my group to enjoy Grand Marais from. Its proximity to restaurants and shopping made it easy to pop back in to feed the baby with us. We enjoyed using the very well equipped kitchen to make meals throughout the weekend.

Location location PLUS everything AND the kitchen sink

OVERALL: we had a great stay and I would go again. The location is perfect, place is spacious but cozy, and was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you'd hope for.PROS: Location is perfect for visiting Grand Marais - right in heart of town. The kitchen was stocked with everything you might need to cook, drink, and store leftovers. Also plenty of dishes! Beds, bedding, towels all new, clean, and comfortable. The space seemed thought out with many attractive and convenient touches.CONS: having to leave :(

Had a wonderful time in Grand Marais

A group of friends (all in our 30's) came up for the Holiday Harbor Village celebration in Grand Marais. Wee had a grat time walking around town and Lucie's Loft sits in the ideal location. The apartment is located on the second floor. It's spacious and great for entertaining large groups of people. The kitchen had the essentials and the beds were comfortable. The space was clean and well laid out for socialising. We are looking forward to booking this location in the future.

Comfortable & Great Location

The apartment was spacious for our family of four. My two girls enjoyed the room with matching double beds. The living room was perfectly furnished for relaxing. We liked the walkability to the shops and restaurants. (Loved the “Hungry Hippie” tacos on the block next to us! We are their every day — so good!) Our only disappointment was the garbage and recycling requirements in the checkout process. We were mildly irritated that we had to haul our garbage to a roped-off dumpster in the middle of a muddy lot in the woods located a mile out of town up the Gunflint Trail. We ended up taking all of our recycling home with us because we didn’t want to spend additional time trying to find the Recycling Center and sort the recycling as required. If garbage and recycling would be onsite or close to the rental unit, it would have been nice. Other than that, everything was great!

Fall color get away

We went to the North Shore to see fall colors and hike. Lucie’s Loft is located in downtown G Marais. Walking distance to all things in town. And conveniently to drive to hiking trails. Entire rental was exceptionally clean. Well stocked kitchen. Enjoyed the record player and selection of records!
