Great Stay & Experience ... Wonderful Owner

We had a great stay at the property! The kitchen was stocked with appliances and utensils...more than my home. We appreciated everything about the unit but would honestly say the the interior is ready for a makeover. We were in no way disappointed, but did realize that the furniture was dated and could have been a bit more comfortable. Thankfully we were not in the unit very long as we were enjoying the island. There is too much positive to list, so be sure that you won't be disappointed and the owner was fabulous to work with. Not that there is anything that can be done to change this issue, but we were sure that there would have been a more direct access to the greenbelt. We had to walk around the entire building through the parking lot to get to it. That took us by surprise, but it certainly was worth the effort.

We enjoyed this condo with all its amenities! The location and property are great!

Beautiful unit and location. It is upstairs (which is great for the views), and is a short walk to get to the green common area and beach. The main pool and Pavilion at the beach are great Location is perfect for golf, shopping and dining. We will be back. Mahalo 🙏

Amazing Condo and Amazing Views!

Amazing condo with a great veiw of Molokini Crater! We enjoyied mornings on the lanai listening to all the birds and taking walks along the Wailea Beach Path. Highly recommend and can't wait to visit again!

Wonderful location and fully stocked Condo

Absolutely top notch communications with the owner. His condo has everything you could want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The lanai was wonderful for having your morning cup of coffee. Just be aware, there is a resident rooster that likes to get up at the crack of dawn.

Amazing ocean views and location!

We loved everything about our stay at Scott’s condo. Lots of space for the two of us, and the extra bathroom was great for getting ready for dinner after time at the beach. Beautifully furnished unit had everything we needed to be very comfortable, even included beach chairs and towels. Lovely resort property with two minute walk down to the beach and pool. Resort community pavilion has a great outdoor kitchen for cooking, grilling and refrigerator to make our own meals outside just off the beach. The pictures don’t fully represent the amazing ocean view which we enjoyed from the lanai every morning with breakfast and to watch sunsets before dinner. 5 minute drive to Wailea’s best restaurants. Scott was very responsive in answering questions and pleasant to work with. Will definitely stay here again.

Great!

We were very happy with this condo. It was better equipped than any other VRBO we’ve stayed in. Coffee on the lanai each morning was magical looking over the expansive lawn to the pool then ocean. The condo was very clean and Scott, the manager was very responsive - although we didn’t need him much because all our questions were mostly answered via clear instructions on the counter. We played golf at Wailea Golf Club (Emerald and Gold) and it was only a short drive away. We would stay again.

Beautiful Property, Condo, Location and Views!!

Condo was very clean, has everything you need, amazing views and the location was perfect. This was our first time staying at the Ekahi, we visit the island a few times a year and would definitely return to this unit and property. Only thing we were not aware of is the beach access gate closes at 10pm and your code will not work. If you are on the beach side after 10pm there is another entrance to get into that unfortunately we did not know about. We learned the hard way but good reference for future guests. Thanks for sharing your condo!

Beautiful View!

We've rented units at Ekahi many times. It's a beautiful complex. Unit 34D has one of the best views however. We loved sitting on the deck eating our meals and watching the ocean. We cant wait to go back!

Never have stayed in a Condo that was so fully equipped with everything that you could possibly need for a wonderful stay in Maui. The view is absolutely beautiful! Took pictures of some gorgeous sunsets. We spent 10 wonderful days.

Paradise in Maui!

Amazing villa, location, views, peaceful and quiet! Equipped with absolutely everything we needed for a perfect stay. Easy access to the pools and beach. Easy access to the most amazing range of beaches for snorkelling (soooo many turtles), surfing, stand up paddle boarding etc etc.

Wonderful condo with an ocean view

We very much enjoyed our stay in this condo and look forward to one day returning. The condo is well thought out with guest’s comfort in mind. The view from the lanai was a daily treat whether with our morning coffee or a day’s end glass of wine. The complex along with the pools and their surrounding areas are well maintained. The uncrowded beach is lovely and is perfect for long walks on soft clean sand. The property is conveniently located to shops and restaurants. Thanks Scott for sharing your little slice of heaven!

We loved the condo. It was spotless clean, beautifully decorated, lots of towels and wash cloths, well stocked gourmet kitchen, comfortable bed, 2 full baths were awesome especially the walk in showers. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The view from the lanai was spectacular. We highly recommend this rental. The only recommendation would be the complex to install an exterior elevator for the 2nd floor condos.

A real review 3.5 **

I'd thought i'd share a real review of the property, the previous reviewers have apparently never stayed in an actual 5 star * property. The view from the condo is a 5 star*, beautiful views from the kitchen/deck/living room if the view from the condo is what you care about then this condo is spectacular! The condo itself is a 3 star* very minor renovation (newish carpets (5-6 years old? and newish cupboard doors) other than that the condo is a typical Maui dated 1980's style (does have a newer couch). Original bathrooms (not impressed) and the bedroom faces the fairly busy road out the back so we had to have the windows/sliding doors shut during the night due to traffic noise/4am garbage trucks etc. The bed is horrible, 2 star** max (spring mattress/box spring like a trampoline and sunken in the middle) i have slept on better beds in $20 hostels. There are a bunch of little things in the condo that were very nice to have (spice drawer, condiments in fridge, cooking supplies (oil etc.). But there are no boogie boards or snorkel gear (the previous 2 condo's we stayed in had both). So condo amenities I would give 3.5 stars** The pool by the beach is a solid 4.5 star* beautiful views, lots of deck/lounge chairs around the pool and a grassy area surrounding the pool deck to lounge on (we love being on the grass right at the pool!!!). Fantastic kid friendly beach, Keawakupu is right down the steps from the pool. Super convenient for shuttling kids back and forth beach to pool. The pool by the beach is heated which made swimming in the rain bearable. The pool has bbq's and a kitchen in the lanai to make hanging out poolside all day very convenient. The only reason i would not give a higher rating is there is no hottub!! The location of the condo is a 3 star** because of the long walk from the condo to the pool (quite a steep hill and you have to walk through 2 parking lots to reach the greenway). 5 min walk, longer if you're dragging little ones with you :) There were a few problems with our stay (rats in the condo leaving their feces in the cupboards and then all around the condo when a trap was installed in the cupboard :( an onion smell in the ice machine and the fridges water filter was over 4 years old and when it was changed the water no longer worked (had to buy at Safeway). Overall we enjoyed our stay (rats not withstanding) but would look for a different condo closer to the pool with a newer renovation next time. Aloha

Ekahi has so much to offer!

This unit was well equipped and in good condition. The view was great and location excellent. The only issue is the street noise but ultimately it would not stop us from staying here again.

We purchased our first condo 21 years ago in Ekahi and two years later we purchased 34D. We now have 2 direct ocean view condos at Ekahi overlooking the greenbelt - Ekahi 34D and 33E.

We first visited Ekahi in 1994 (honeymoon) and were fortunate enough to purchase in 2004. It's a magical place for us with many fond memories, a real sense of community and calming spirit.
