Waterfront, oceanview renovated pvt. 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath with pool and dockage.

We would love for you to come visit our renovated Florida Keys home! We are so happy with the way it has turned out. It has 3 bedrooms consisting of king size beds and full baths in each bedroom. There is also a ½ bath to accommodate your guests. Everything is new and looks amazing! The house is centrally located in Marathon and just 50 miles from Key West.

This was our home for 25 years before Hurricane Irma decided it needed a makeover. We have had so many memorable moments in this house. Our children, Kaite and Seth, were born here and were able to enjoy everything that the Florida Keys offers while growing up. We hope that you and your family can add some memorable moments too.

Our home offers 6o feet of dockage for your boat. A lighted fish cleaning station and grill are located at the end of the dock. We have a small pool (9x16), to sit in and relax with a drink in hand. There is also a shade sail over the patio table and chairs. We do have Kayaks, paddle boards and a couple of fishing poles.

We are just five houses down the canal from the ocean. From our canal it is a straight shot to the ocean where you can enjoy kayaking and paddle boarding on the flats or go out to the small patch reefs and enjoy the amazing sea life or some fishing or spearfishing. Just out of our canal you can go either to left and enjoy a 10-minute boat ride to Vaca Cut where you can go to the Bay or to the right with a 20-minute boat ride to the 7-mile bridge.
This is a sister house to VRBO 2898260 a Brand New Build, located two houses down the street and just three houses from the ocean. It is also a 3-BDR/ 3-ensuit baths+1/2 bath w/pool.

We had a great stay. Everything was as advertised on VRBO. I only had one small issue, and that was only to turn the heat up in the pool. He was extremely accommodating and came right over. Awesome communication with the owner. We rented a boat for 3 day’s and very easy to locate the house and secure the boat. Met some great people and had fantastic meals out. A trip we will never forget!!!

Beautiful property! Lynn and Freida were extremely attentive and personable. The house was everything we could have hoped for with the 3 master suites. We enjoyed sitting out by the canal and sitting in the pool. And the extra treat in the freezer was to die for!

Florida Keys vacation

This rental was perfect for us & exactly as presented in VRBO. The home is very clean, comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen with every amenty that we needed. I honestly cannot think of anything we were not satisfied with. We were able to dock our boat right there and walk out the back door to go out & fish or just cruise on the water. The pool is perfect to relax in. The owners are right next door and treated us as family. We will definitely use this home again & I highly recommend it.

New Year’s/Anniversary Trip

This was the best vacation rental we have ever stayed in. Everything was just as advertised on the site and more. The location was awesome. We renewed our vows on Sombrero Beach, and then came back to the house and had a great dinner and celebrated NYE. We will definitely plan to stay again.

Everything was great! I usually can find something wrong with a property, but this one was like the title states, a new house. I highly recommend this home and location for a great vacation in Marathon Key.

Family Vaction

We had a wonderful family vacation at Tight Lines, the house was perfect. There were 5 of us, me, my wife, and 3 adult sons. Plenty of room, the house was recently updated and it is beautifully decorated. We found the location to be perfect, close to the grocery stores. There are whips on the dock to keep boat safe from tide changes, it’s a very short ride out of the canal, with easy access to the ocean. We spent most of our days out in the boat arriving back in the evening, the pool felt great. The owners are very nice, helpful, and were willing to give us pointers on where to snorkel and dive. I could go on and on, it is a fantastic house.I highly recommend staying there, we will be back. Thanks again for sharing your home with us,

What a great placE!!

This house and location were just perfect! The house was full stocked and just a beautiful house! The location was great, near everything you could want! The owners were just great and ready to help us with any questions we may have had. We loved the area and the house, and will definitely return! If staying in the Marathon are this house is a must!!

So perfect!!

We planned a last minute trip to the keys and chose this property mainly for it's location and ease in reaching the channel. We soon discovered what a truly beautiful job Lynn & Freida have done with this home. It is so very well appointed, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. There is not a single thing they have not carefully thought of. The 3 king en suite bedrooms were a perfect set up for our needs. Our 25 foot boat was very secure in their dock set up. We hated to leave and will definitely be back.

BEST VRBO WE’VE EVER STAYED

Where do we start? Everything you’ll need is there. We couldn’t stop talking about how well organized and clean this house was. The three Master bedrooms was a brilliant idea. We were a group of three couples and we had so much space to move around, privacy and hangout space. There aren’t enough positive things to say about this home, from the giant TVs in every room to the beautiful kitchen, to the incredibly relaxing patio and plunge pool. I can honestly say we didn’t want to leave. Lynn, Freida and Katie were extremely attentive and friendly. Great owners that have now become friends! We can’t wait to stay there again!

Really enjoyed our stay

This was the perfect location for us. Lynn and Lori were super friendly and provided everything you could possibly want, including a great dessert! The house was beautiful and well equipped. The 3 king bedrooms with separate baths were ideal and the pool was very refreshing. We will definitely want to come back :-)

Perfect Keys Vacation Rental: Well-Rounded for Relaxing at Home and Adventures on the Water

My family and I enjoyed a terrific stay at Lynn's property. The home was perfect for our group of six. We were continually impressed by the layout of the home and how well-equipped it was. Each bedroom felt very private while the living room, dining area, and outdoor spaces were comfortable places to gather everyone together. Having a dock and direct access to the ocean also made all of our boat and water activities a breeze. As for the most important basic items on my vacation rental checklist: internet access and hot water were excellent without fault, and the home was peacefully quiet at night. Finally, Lynn and his family were excellent hosts and genuinely wonderful people. We really enjoyed meeting them and wish them great success!

Best VRBO stay ever!

My wife and I travel a lot and stay in many VRBO's and this by far was the best experience we've ever had! The house is perfectly laid out, and super clean and updated. All three rooms had king beds with full bathrooms, the pool in the back was great to cool off and the canal was great for leisurely fishing. And to top it off, on our last day a whole family of manatee came right up the canal for us to see with a newborn!! The location was perfect as well, we were very close to all kinds of great restaurants with live music and sitting right on the water...couldn't ask for better! Lynn and Lori are super nice and very accommodating, and even welcomed us with a homemade Key Lime pie when we arrived, which we enjoyed a piece every night. Without a doubt, we would book through them every time we come to the Keys!!

Family vacation

Our family throughly enjoyed our time at the house. Everything was immaculate. My wife and I loved everything about the house. The kids had a great time swimming in the pool every day. They also enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards. The canal was great for our boat. Right by vacay cut for fuel and bait. The owners were awesome, and very welcoming. We are planning on making this our née spot for now on in the keys.

Perfect home in perfect location!!

What an exceptional home. Newly renovated with high end finishes. Located in the middle of the Keys allowed us to do activities up and down the Keys all week long. We enjoyed our own plunge pool and just sitting on the patio watching the fish in the canal. Loved the attention to details in this rental, the owners even left us a freshly made key lime pie in the refrigerator to welcome us. What a great vacation rental!!!!!

This home is the perfect combination of chill and convenience. Perfectly located, 5 houses off of Hwy US1 and 5 houses to the ocean, on a canal, leading to the ocean. The recent home renovation was done beautifully and is premium quality throughout. It is also very well stocked from the kitchen to the back deck, including beach towels, plenty of outdoor seating with an umbrella for shade, a pool and a grill. There are also multiple kayaks and stand up paddleboards included in the rental. There is a beautiful view out the front and back of the home as well as wonderful nighttime star gazing with very little light pollution. Our group of 6 (3 couples) all truly enjoyed our stay and felt like Guests, not renters. The Landrys are a joy to get to know and we will not hesitate to return and have already recommended this home to several friends.

Even better than the pictures

This is an amazing property. The layout gives everyone privacy yet the common areas are welcoming and beautiful. We caught fish on the canal, enjoyed the multiple big screen TV's, cooked on the grill, and played the family games they had available for our use. The owners have put a lot of thought into making this property better than most. Everything you need is at your finger tips. My family and I hope to be back some day. It's that good.

I grew up in East Tennessee, were I met my beautiful wife of 32 years at Tusculum University. Freida originally is from Indiana, and moved to Marathon at the age of 12
(complete culture shock). She fell in Love with every part of the Keys lifestyle. We fell in Love and my wife " twisted" my arm to make Marathon our home. We made this our home for 25 years before Hurricane Irma decided it needed a makeover. We have had so many memorable moments in this house. Our children, Kaite and Seth, were born here, making them "real" conchs. We have been able to enjoy everything that the Florida Keys has to offer.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We were blessed. Thanks to family we were able to purchase this home in 1994. It has gone through a few transitions within that time with the addition of our two children. It has allowed us to enjoy all the Marathon area and the Keys have to offer. Just being able to walk out the door knowing you have a boat waiting at the dock to go diving, fishing or just a boat ride to watch a georgous sunrise or sunset everyday.
