Grab one of our kayaks and explore the vastness of this gem of a resort. Or just relax on our spacious dock or the cozy back patio and enjoy this quiet corner of the lake.

When the day is done, sink into a comfy couch and stream your favorite shows, or read a good book.

Serenity at the Lake comes equipped with a fully stocked kitchen for those who like to cook (like I do!). Affordable luxury at its best!

Just minutes from the Balboa Marina and the popular Sunset Grill and Dulce Vita Italian Restaurant. If you want to trek to the west side of the Village, you have to try Amore's Pizza!

And don't forget, you can rent a pontoon boat from the marina and dock it at Serenity at the Lake!

I spent 3 weeks in this lovely home. Every comfort was accounted for and the home was equipped with anything we could have needed. The hosts were very helpful and promptly answered any questions I had. The only disappointment was that Lake Balboa was drained in preparation for dredging. The hosts let me know this ahead of time, so I knew I wouldn't have my hoped for lake view! BUT, the home and it's location left me all ready to plan my next stay in Hot Springs Villlage on a full Lake Balboa!!

Very clean home right on the lake with amazing views! It was in a wonderful location within the village and had everything we needed to feel comfy and relaxed. Will definitely rent again for future visits!

We enjoyed our time at this house. It was furnished with anything you may need. The host payed attention to every detail. Upon arriving we found snacks and beverages. The homel was very clean inside and out. We spent time outside in the evenings and it was quite peaceful. I highly recommend this home.

Trip to play in Tennis Tournament

3 of us stayed while we participated in a Hot Springs Village 70Tennis Tournament. The property was great! Beautiful and relaxing. Convenient to our tournament, to restaurants and a grocery store. We cooked hamburgers and hot dogs one night and had a great relaxing time. We loved being right on the beautiful lake.

Lovely

This property was very clean, modern, well stocked, and perfectly placed right on the lake. What a peaceful, quiet spot. There was a perfect sized yard to throw a ball, and plenty of deck seating. The kayaks were such a treat and we had all that we needed. Inside were all the comforts of home and more. The owners were wonderful to work with and quick to respond to any needs. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Home

We had a wonderful time staying here and would love to rent the home again. Hopefully the next time the weather will cooperate and we could use the kayaks. But even with the rain, it was so relaxing to sit at the dining table and look out the beautiful picture window at the lake and all of the ducks and geese that would visit us. The house is very clean, beds are comfy and the living room is perfectly cozy. Highly recommend.

Ideal stay

This was an awesome stay. We had everything we needed. Having the kayaks and access to the lake was amazing. The wine and snacks were also an amazing touch that we definitely took advantage of! I felt like we had everything we needed. I truly felt like we were being HOSTED. It was a very peaceful area and just what we needed. Would definitely come back!

Peaceful lakeside getaway

Great property on a very quiet alcove of Lake Balboa. Spacious and clean accommodations for our family of four. Very pretty sunrise in this location. Appreciated the use of 3 kayaks as well as use of the garage. Owner was very responsive to any questions. Very easy check in/check out process.

Perfect for family vacay

We LOVED this home!! It’s conveniently located in the middle of the village with easy access to both the East and West gates. Water is shallow by the dock, so it was nice to be able to float in the water and for our 7 year old to swim and still be able to touch (he can swim, but he has a cast so this helped!). Home was super clean and beds were comfortable. All communication was prompt and home is just as is in the pics. Had some friendly geese visitors each day. Definitely recommend for any family wanting to relax and enjoy the lake! We would definitely visit again!

What’s Not To Love About This Place?

Best trip ever! This beautiful home situated on lake property complete with roaming wildlife was so tranquil and the perfect setting for R&R. Hosts were extremely generous with amenities, from the drinks and snacks, to plush towels, K cups….best supplied VRBO we’ve ever experienced. Hosts responded in timely manner when needed and were supportive and helpful in making sure we had a great stay. Will be back! Five stars!!

We moved to Hot Springs Village in the Fall of 2020 to escape the rat race and find some space to breathe. Hot Springs Village was just the ticket. We love living in a resort town! And while our golf games aren't exactly the greatest (although Suzanne does faithfully watch the PGA), we enjoy the water and hiking the trails with our dogs. Our passion is to provide the best, most relaxing getaway possible. So we furnished the Lake House with all the goodies we would want in a getaway, from a spectacular view of the lake to comfy couches and restful beds--and a full kitchen. I (Lance) love to cook! Consider this your home away from home.
